I have had my stuff here for less than a month and I am already moving out. The loading dock makes no sense(there are 3 spaces but if someone parks in front of the only ramp no one can access it). Where my unit is, the whole floor smells like, what I can only describe as the smell of a hair salon with hair dryers(like a burning plastic smell as if someone is using a storage unit to run a salon). When I brought this to their attention they said they couldn't find the source, but "it should be fine". All of my stuff stinks, there are now small little spiders and silverfish on my stuff, and it is pretty icky. I am literally willing to pay twice the price to move everything to a different place because of these issues. I hope they rectify them for the next person! read more

I loved having two doors to access from. And then the restroom access from inside. Elevators were a bit annoying to use but were huge. Only downside is I was plagued with silverfish that flooded my boxes and then in return flooded the place I moved to. They have been difficult to get rid of. read more

Would give zero stars if I could . Long story short is I was late on a payment so they put they're on lock on my storage . After paying my storage and having them Open the lock in front Of Me it's a combination lock I might add . I open to see my storage unit has been ransacked I'm talking thousands and thousands of dollars worth of items . How if it's their lock and the lock was on not tampered with would anyone get in if it wasn't the Ghetto site manager or the workers who did it . This happen on December 19th . After filing a police report the inventory taken in November by the storage unit had listed all my items that were eventually taken . They also stated none of the security cameras were working . Avoid this location and company they also denied my insurance claim cause no sign of break in . What a bunch of thieves and the lady inside is the most ghetto / incompetent person I've met . When moving out of my other unit she couldn't even get off the combination lock costing me to pay my movers more because it's hourly read more

The move in process was quik and easy. The place is clean and safe, but there is a bait and switch business plan. Basically, lure you in at one reasonable price. Then, raise it $22 a month later after you have moved in. Presumably on the gamble that you'll stay to avoid the pain of moving again. It's not a good way to make your profits, as most of us know. At Extra Space Turkey Lake Rd. behind 7-Eleven, EVERYONE is knowledgeable, helpful & friendly. It's very clean, no trash on the floors, but mostly it doesn't smell when you walk in. My first impression about a month ago when I was looking for a convenient storage facility was when Raphael met me at the door before I had to open it and he greeted me with a smile and said "welcome". He answered all my questions, opened the different storage units and explained the different sizes and offered me to make a reservation. I said I wasn't sure yet if I was moving because I didn't sign for the new place yet. He was like well come back when you are ready and you can sign up for the online offer as it is cheaper there. When I came back he remembered me and he offered to put my rental by the elevator as I requested. He was so helpful and friendly and so was his manager Matthew. Both gentlemen offered a fabulous customer experience and even though this one was a little further away from what I wanted... I came back because the level of professionalism and friendliness was what I enjoyed most! The place is new, air conditioned and has secured access for both door and elevator, and they have security cameras. Moving carts were available when I came to move my things. read more

This place is going down hill fast. Last two times I went there to storage some items there were no carts. How am I suppose to carry heavy items to the 3rd floor. Also there was trash in the elevator. read more
