My husband and I have been using Extra Space Storage for 2 years in Omaha, Nebraska with no problems. We decided to move to Florida and stay with Extra Space Storage. After 3 months at this Orlando location, we received a letter saying our unit price was more than DOUBLING from $78 to $150 with a 30 day notice. We called and were told there was nothing they could do about the price increase and also told us they do rate increases every 3-9 months meaning in another few months there will 100% be another rate increase. We've been using storage units for years and have never had this problem. We are now having to move all of our stuff to another storage unit because of this company.
