Most recently Timothy repaired damage on my mom's 2015 BMW Z4, including the passenger side rocker panel and front bumper area. The car came back looking absolutely brand new. The attention to detail, paint match, body lines, and finish quality were excellent. You honestly cannot tell the vehicle was ever damaged. Timothy clearly takes pride in his work and did the repair correctly instead of rushing through it. What impressed me even more was the professionalism. This was a mobile repair at the house, and right before he arrived a large tree removal crew showed up next door with lifts, equipment, noise, and workers all around the driveway area where he was supposed to work. Instead of complaining or getting flustered, he calmly worked through the distraction, stayed focused, and still completed the project on schedule with excellent results. My mom is 90 and still enjoys driving her BMW Z4, so let's just say it's good to have someone trustworthy like this in the Rolodex when life happens. Well we bring the car in and it's worse off than when we left it The windshield wipers weren't working when we left after they clean up the oil as my employee didn't shut the cap but they did clean up the oil pretty well so did something right. They also changed the oil which he bragged about as as I was complaining and trying to work something out in the middle. They charged me $1800 in storage while I was at the hospital. They didn't call my spouse or anybody else or send emails but they did charge $1,700 in storage extra at a discount supposedly just for a small car in their lot for a couple weeks and they wouldn't work with me on the price. They basically told me to pound sand and then got upset when I was peeved off. They do nothing after they scammed me $1,700 and then wrecked my windshield wipers what really bothered me about this whole situation. Mistakes happen but they said they would fix them because they know they wrecked them when they realize how much of me to fix or or how difficult or whatever they said it was a recall. I have a friend that works for an Aspen dealership in different city that does McLaren and he said it wasn't true. There's no recall on that. We called two McLaren dealerships. They laughed at us and said there's no recall on that. The person's lying and of course he wouldn't even meet me in the middle with anything. Charge me for storage. When I was in the hospital charged me for everything else and then Rex. My windshield wipers lies to me and then says pound sand. We're not doing anything to meach in the middle. Not even help with storage. And the level of arrogance they have is absolutely unbelievable and they have no business being in customer service. But clients should be aware that by going to your house you are missing on the improved quality that a proper shop environment would provide (improved tools, paint job and more materials), and this is not well communicated by Fender Menders. After the service, I called mentioning that it wasn't looking finished yet, I was told that I should, myself, wait for 3 weeks then wet sand the area then wax it. If this was mentioned prior to the service I would be fine, but it wasn't. I guess to summarize my feedback: * Over-communicate what is and what isn't included on the service. * Make sure people understand what they are missing out for not going to a proper body shop space. * I'd suggest doing a second visit for so that the sanding and waxing can be done properly and so that any missing imperfections can be fixed. I hope the service improves with this feedback.
