Communication at first was great, then they failed to call me the day prior, I had to call them. I confirmed with them again what was needed as far as truck, lift and provide the dimensions weight everything. The confirmed and said nothing to worry about. they tell me they would arrive between 8-10am then get texted at 10pm the night before saying 12-2pm. 2pm no call no show, 2:20 the driver calls telling me 30-40min. I again to make sure the information and what type of truck and lift gate needed. Driver shows up just before 3pm with a truck that is smaller then needed and with a lift gate smaller and unable to handle the move. Their driver was extremely nice guy. He tired to call his manager who could be heard over the phone bothered that we was called. Worst of all refused to speak with us or rectify the situation. Said we can wait till Monday to speak with the estimate rep. 1st class moving failed and Could not deliver. Cost my business time and money. read more

Would highly highly recommend 1st class moving ! Our family of 4 just moved from CT to FL. The reservation process was smooth, the movers were punctual and great at communicating and did the job (both loading and unloading) so quickly !!! I have not one negative thing to say about this company. Thank you first class for making this process so smooth for us!! read more

Overall very positive experience! Moved units within the same apartment complex and the movers were on time, friendly, and careful with my furniture. 1st Class was also the cheapest quote I received. I can't speak on more complex moves, but for a small 2ish hour move, I recommend! read more

We have used First class moving three times in just over a year. We couldn't be happier with their work. They are quick, relatively inexpensive, and we haven't had a single case of damage to any of our furniture or other belongings. Reservation was easy, they showed up on time and were very fast. I highly recommend them for any moving of household items and furniture. read more

The team was on time to start the day. Communication was great and they did well in wrapping the furniture and carefully moving it, particularly our big dining room set. We will use them again. And the price was outstanding! read more

This was our second time using this company for our move. Both times they were very professional, organized, and punctual. I'm hoping not to have to move again, but if, for some reason I do, I would have no issues using them again. I highly recommend them, great company to work with. read more

Ripped my couch and charged me a full month of storage when I only needed a few days to store my belongings

The busintess owner responded with two statements. 1) That "I was paid 2.5 times what it (my claim) was worth to make me happy". The truth is that I held up my end of the bargain and put in the time to document the damage to our possessions and provide legitimate, researched estimates for repair or replacement cost only to have management reply with arbitrary small numbers and no backup for their estimate as if this was some sort of negotiation rather than an insurance claim. My request was fair and after months of back and forth and insults I settled for half of the value of what was broken just to close this chapter. 2) That it was odd I stated "I have moved 5 times and filed 5 claims and this has been the worst experience". What I actually said in the preceding paragraph was "I've moved 5 times and this was by far our worst experience." I haven't had to file damage claims for all my moves, and this claim was an order of magnitude larger than my other one thanks to the wide array of stuff that was ruined. I stand by and amplify my original statement that in my opinion this was by far the worst mover I've ever worked with. In my opinion they were both unprofessional and provided substandard service. read more

They showed up on time and did the job in 2 hours less then what was estimated in the quote. They wrapped everything very carefully. I didn't have one instance of anything breaking. They moved some really heavy items with no complaints, they were professional and took care of my items. They even helped me pick where some stuff should go in my new home. lol Would definitely use again and will recommend to others. read more

We called 1st Class Moving after reading many recommendations on our neighborhood FaceBook. We're so glad we did! We had a small move -- transplanting some furniture and lots of boxes -- from our home to a new residence (for our adult child.) The communication was great, price was very reasonable (exactly as quoted) and service was absolutely superb. Even with a small move, everything was packed and handled with care by kind, courteous folks. Their online quote and payment system was easy to navigate and use too. read more

If you hate moving, call 1st class! You may think your move is too small like I did (from a 1 bedroom apt to another 1 bedroom apt), but Hassan and his team were happy to assist me with my move. I was a little nervous about timing as I had to reserve the freight elevators at both locations, but the movers showed up right at 8am! And they were done even faster than anticipated. They wrapped my couch, boxed my picture frames and took extra care of my China dishes. The staff was friendly and courteous and saved me and my back so much stress! There were no surprise charges; the price was the same as my initial free estimate. I will definitely be using 1st class again! read more

Price was reasonable and the movers did a great job wrapping our furniture. They showed up on time as well. A very smooth move with great communication. read more

If I could give them 6 stars, I would. They really were that impeccable. If you want professionalism, efficiency and value for money, 1st Class Moving hit the target every single time, turning a dreaded major move into an absolute breeze thanks to Antony and his crew, who were nothing less than superb. They handled a 5-bed family home in less than 4 hours, and had everything packed in the most proficient manner imaginable (plus, they played great music throughout!). Two days later, they delivered the home load in equally magnificent and hassle-free fashion. We simply cannot rate this company highly enough. read more

Our move from Lake Mary to St. Augustine went smoothly, thanks to The First Class Moving Team. Two trucks and six workers arrived on time. The moving team was very careful in the handling of fragile items, and they took their time to thoroughly wrap chairs, and antiques. There was a plan in place for marking boxes, and where to place them at the new residence. Thank you, to all the First Class workers, who made our move a success. Carol and Tom read more

I used 1st Class Moving a couple of months ago and they did a great job. The crew came early and well prepared and were very efficient in packing things up. They got the job done with much success. I would definitely recommend this company. read more

We just used 1st class moving, and were really impressed, jose and two other movers showed up on time, and finished earlier than expected. They made sure to only move what we needed and even helped move furniture left at our new house by the previous owners. The quote was much less than others and the final bill was even less because the quote included items we ended up moving ourselves or selling before moving day. Jose was a great guy and really made it easy. read more

They came recommended by our agent to perform local move. Move was late, overtime and seven items damage even though they supposedly wrap all furniture in blankets. Grandfather clocks pendulum was damaged, even thought they move them all the time. Just pay an extra fee. Piano and 5 pieces of furniture had either dents or deep scrapes all the way through the veneer. The move was insured but apparently that doesn't matter. They denied my more than fair claim (for just new pendulum and fixing furniture scrapes) after making me wait nearly two months because they claim it wasn't noted that night just before midnight when I signed their bill of lading. Their foreman knew there was damage. I asked about the claims process and he said I just get in contact with their claims department. I also read bill of lading before signing and it said nothing stating you waive your right to make a claim by signing the paper at the end of the move. This is also like my sixth move in my life. NO moving company has ever held that position. Have seen other complaints from their victims stating similar experience with a claim. I highly recommend you don't use this company. read more

First Class Moving and Storage Moved my Pinball Machines from MD to FL. They damaged them due mishandling and negligence. They denied my claim to get them fixed. I will never use this terrible company ever again. read more

I've been meaning to write this review; however have been busy unpacking. If you are looking for a full service, BBB A+ Accredited moving company, this is the company you should turn to! From the moment I met the owner Hassan, I knew I was in good hands. They packed my home and moved me within in two days. They brought in a team of six very professional and respectful movers who I would recommend to all. They are extremely responsive and unlike many moving companies honor their quotes & contracts and most importantly treat their clients as professionals, with the highest level of respect and professionalism! read more

These guys are fantastic. I needed to move just a couple of pieces of furniture, including a piano, from my mom's house to mine. They were $100-$200 less than any other quotes I got, friendly, efficienct, flexible and careful. Highly recommend. read more

Very bad costumer service. Would never use them after the rude discussion I had in person with them. Poor attitude with foul language. It reflects on how they would handle the rest of my move. Talk about class!!! read more
