Orlando Express Movers saved the day! We had a snafu with another moving company and they couldn't finish the move so we urgently needed to hire someone else for next day service. We had little to no hope since it was late Saturday night and needed service on Sunday. These guys not only responded right away (at 9pm Sat, wow!), they offered the lowest rates - they really wanted to help. They showed up as scheduled the next day and started moving right away. The 2 movers were extremely efficient AND careful. We really appreciate that they didn't complain about anything and also figured out a way to navigate thru narrow passages with heavy items - without making a dent or scratch. The only thing we regret was not contacting them sooner and choosing them as our original movers. We can't say enough nice things and HIGHLY recommend Orlando Express Movers. I requested a move of a two-bedroom apartment (mostly furniture and boxes). They were late, yet it was an afternoon appointment, and Orlando traffic can cause delays (they were scheduled for 1:00 but came at 4:30 PM). The guys were nice, and the service was efficient. Definitely wrap your furniture. I think a few pieces were nicked in transport since they handled the furniture with care when carrying them out and in. The one mover was kind enough to take my dining room table apart and put it back together. Overall, I would use them again. read more

They arrived on time, disassembled and reassembled furniture, and wrapped it all very carefully to prevent damage. They worked especially hard at the other end of the move into an apartment building that, at the last minute, did not provide easy access. This was my first time using a moving company. I called 6 different companies that all told me a move for a 1 bed, 1 bath, 1 person apartment with 2 men would be around 2-3 hours since I had already did all the packing and just needed the items moved. I chose this company because it was the only one that didn't make me get a minimum of 3-4 hours to move. I relocated from the Downtown Orlando to the Millenia area which is about 10 mins in distance from each other. The day of the move they tried to change the time to an earlier time last minute which is another story. But it took this company FIVE hours to move my things even though the service elevators were reserved for their use only at both locations. Not only that but in the process of moving one of Alex the owner workers damaged a brand-new dresser from Ashley furniture and didn't say anything until I pointed it out to them. When I asked one of the guys about the damage, he told me that the "product was cheap" instead of accepting full responsibility for his actions. He put TAPE on the side of dresser and not on the back like it was on the other side. Not only that later it was discover that one of my stools for my counter tops had be damaged and AGAIN nothing was said to me. Apparently, the movers tried to hide the fact that they damaged it by fixing it and concealing the damaged with black marker. When I called Alex he told me there was nothing he could do about it because the company that insures them only pays a small price. Also, I had a damage on a picture frame that was not there prior to this company moving my things. Alex only offered me $30 for all of the damages and deceit that took place. My advice go with a company that's trust worthy upfront and honest when they damaged you items. read more

I chose Orlando Express to move my bed from my house into my new apartment (it was the only furniture i owned that i wasn't able to move by myself) On the day of the move they called and let me know they were running ahead of schedule and could come early if it was okay with me- this was great! They took apart the bed frame and loaded it along with the mattress in around 10 minutes & we were off. Extremely quick and efficient. Alex, from Orlando Express Movers offered a great quote with both an estimate for what we had and a fixed flat rate for two movers, one truck and four hours. We were moving within 3 minutes from a two bedroom apartment to a house. After seeing the great reviews and competitive price, we decided to hire Alex and his team. I only had to put a $50 deposit that would be discounted from my fixed rate. We could pay cash or credit. Scheduling was easy and fast. We were scheduled for April 26, 2020. Alex, Sirglrev and Irlan arrived on time and ready to work. They asked questions which I appreciated since they were not just randomly taking things. Our furniture was dismantled and wrapped. They were not able to transport liquids, or delicate lamps, but everything else they took. The lamps fit it my car, so no biggie. After everything was packed, we drove for a few minutes and they proceeded to put everything were we had asked them too... we also labeled the boxes so that helped. Alex and his team were very careful, responsable, friendly and careful. In three hours or so they had finished, put our furniture back together and left everything cleaned. The quote I received was for 2 men and a truck for 3 hours at a GREAT price. I've never hired movers before so I didn't have anything to compare the experience to, but was impressed. Will definitely go this route again. The movers showed up on time and ready to go. They wrapped my furniture and quickly loaded the truck. I had a move last December and got some quotes from several companies. One of which was Express Movers. After speaking with them on the phone initially to get the price, I then got an email saying my moving date was "confirmed", and that a deposit would be need to be made in order to seal the deal. Something felt off about this, so I sought out another company and obviously didn't pay the deposit. One would think that if you don't put down any money toward a deposit, they wouldn't move forward with you at all. But that's not what happened... To my dismay, I got a call from Express Movers while my hired movers were helping me move already, and they said "they are on the way to our location". I was perplexed and told them I'm sorry, I went with somebody else. In hindsight, I should have told them in advance I went with somebody else, but I had no idea they would still show up. I then get a call from their manager, and he is furious with me on the phone. I told him "Why would you send your guys if you didn't receive a deposit from me?". He had no response for that. He then told me to never call them again, and then I hung up. So yeah...that could be your experience. Again, I should have told them I was cancelling but it's not my fault if they go forward without receiving a deposit. read more

I've used this company now 4 times, each time they were very professional. If they were running late, they called, but 3 out of 4 times there were on time. They usually have 2 guys and a truck, once they came with 3 guys. The last time I used them on this Sunday, they had to move all of my belongings up to the 3rd floor with no elevator. Please do not use this company! They moved my items and broke several items of my wooden furniture. They took 12 hours to move 3 rooms and after a few hours told me they needed a second truck and more men. After the 12 hour move, they gave me a $3156 bill which I paid. The next day when I was unpacking I noticed some of my solid wood furniture had been badly damaged. I reported it and I was told it would be fixed or replaced under their insurance. After 4 months I am still unable to make the insurance claim and no one will respond to my requests. read more

So we needed movers with short lead time. OEM had good reviews and reasonable rates. Not necessarily cheap but fair. Alex was very accommodating and work with us when we have last minute issues with a closing affecting time and scheduling. They day came and everyone arrived and confirmed details before the clock started on the work. Tour of the home and the work design done and then right to it. The disassembled the furniture and wrapped it up. Professional and efficient. Extremely communicative and that's important with everything involved in any move. They stored over night for an add'l fee (worth it) then came right on time the next day to unload. Same deal...confirm work details, tour of the space, and then right to it. 3 men both days and second went smoother. Once items in the home we still had time...they suggested hey you have your add'l 26' truck and we have two guys assembling...the 3 led man can help you unload the 2nd truck. Awesome and right to it while the others worked in assembly. Once they were done with assembly, they had some extra time (pay by the .25 hr minimum of 3hrs) and we finished unloading the ENTIRE second truck. Saved a bunch of time. They didn't reassemble the easy things like a desk or sectional (efficient use of time) on focused on the best way to get the most done. The next day Alex followed up to make sure everything was good, congratulated us on our new home, and thanked us for the business. Moving is not easy and OEM took a lot of stress away while working side by side with me. You can do as little or as much as you want and that's important on a budget. They messed up my bed set i got in contact with them 2 days later because i was working the next day all day , they pretty much told me to fck off on the phone saying its passed the 24hrs mind u we got to miami late in the afternoon didnt realize the bed until 12am after unpacking. Used them last year for a move. Found them on Yelp. Never got around to writing a review - but... now that I'm moving again (ugh), I am looking elsewhere. The guys were friendly, and although three of them showed up, I only saw two of them doing work. So the third guy was just hanging out in the truck, playing on his phone or doing whatever. Translation: my move took longer because I only received 2/3 of the workforce. In fact, when it came time to move IN, I had to help unload the truck, because - again - one of the guys decided to just hang out. Top it all off, dented my surround sound system set and damaged my bedroom set (antique dresser). Offered no compensation and the main guy was still going to charge me the 5% for using a credit card - which was NEVER disclosed to me at all at any point. So I decided to drive to an ATM and get cash - a major hassle. Two stars because the guys that did work did some hustling, but I'll be looking elsewhere this time around. read more

I've used this company before but for the move I just did I was very upset with this company. They moved my 1 bedroom apartment to my new home. The dresser that was in my bedroom I had them place in my new guest room. However they did not reassemble the dresser to the mirror. They claimed to have left the screws at the apartment in the bedroom. Well my fiancé later went to the apartment and did not find the screws. I had him call this company and the manager said he would call the truck who serviced us and call us back. He never called back so I called him again and he blamed the situation on my husband saying maybe my husband threw away the screws... how crazy is that!! These are massive screws. We eventually had to get new screws and do it ourselves. Very disappointed in this company seeing as I'm a repeat customer, I will be taking my money elsewhere next time. read more
