This location is basically extorting people. The owner decided that he would remove the store email and charge 5 dollars to rent the computer in-store and then you can email it to yourself. Wtf. Then they charged 15 cents for printing. Like I'm from out of town I don't have a printer handy this is just a scummy move to hit people who need a hand. I do not recommend using 8015 international drive UPS store. Maria the manager was standing there with no one in line, She told me she could not help me as I have been helped by other UPS stores before for the same issue. I left the store and went to 7512 dr Philiips Boulevard UPS store, and they help me immediately I was out in five minutes... I chose to drive to this location, as it is in a well-populated area, and I generally have a pleasant experience. I needed to return an item to Amazon, and UPS is generally the smoothest transaction. Amazon sends you a QR code, you bring the item in, the pack it up and send it back...if there is no one else there it takes maybe 2 min. Except today. Today makes my stomach hurt. First, when I walked in, the whole store smells like a heavy vape shop. The associate didn't even acknowledge me until my phone rang a few minutes later. I wasn't going to interrupt, but acknowledgement is always appreciated. When I asked about the smell he said it was because the AC is broken and the guy sitting at the computer smelled bad. That put me off. Then I had him scan the QR code. He told me I needed to buy a box or bag. When I read him the blurb from Amazon that they would package the items and print the label(again something I've had them do for a few years when making returns) he went onto a full blown attack that Amazon is lying. He then started to involve the other customers who were now walking into the store. I was told I had a "shitty attitude" when I told him that I can see he's stressed from working NYE. He kept rolling his eyes, making faces, laughing, and just generally making me regret ever coming here. I requested a manager, he told me no. I asked 4 more times. He finally calls them. He then goes to the back and tries to cover his butt before remotely letting me speak to them. All over a bag or box that should have been provided in the first place. The manager, who sounds like she is home under the weather, was quite lovely. Our conversation was interrupted numerous times by the associate(Carlos) as he felt it professional to keep showing me other people's labels(with their personal information on them) and shoving them in my face like I did something wrong. The manager had already told him to make the "exception" but he still didn't want to. She then asked to speak to him again, and he said "good". He then printed it, no problem, and still copped an attitude. I feel bad for the guy having to work for NYE, but I don't work for Amazon, so why would you treat me like it's my fault they sent me information you claim is wrong. 2 Stars because though it was quick, there were confusions that could be avoided. First impression- though the store looked clean and orderly it smelled very musty, almost as if someone had opened some stinky cheese in there prior to me walking in. The gentleman at the counter was very courteous throughout our interaction. My first issue was with the price of sending a small international package (small bubble mailer). It shockingly came out to over $68! I was floored and asked if there were cheaper options. Eventually he admitted that it might be cheaper to get a flat rate box at the post office and ship it internationally. I just checked online and that would cut the cost by more than half. Surely there must be a better option within UPS. But oh well! I also had a small mailer to send domestically to North Carolina. I showed him the 5% off yelp check-in offer (set up by the business, mind you) and he was puzzled. He said I was the second person to come in with it and he'd honor it, but he had no knowledge of this deal. I was annoyed on both our behalf because someone at some corporate office probably set up the offer and obviously word hasn't reached the employees on the ground. No matter, I thought. He's honoring it. Well, I just got back home and despite reminding him twice it looks like no discount was applied. I was charged $7.50 for a single page printed and rescanned. I have been the worlds biggest fan of UPS stores until now. According to the staff (who ware quite pleasant) the owner forbids the employees from receiving emailed documents for print. That's what UPS stores are for! I have a staff of travelling business people who have all religiously used UPS Stores as an "office way from the office" but now, with the possibility that my employees will be treated like this we will now use the competition. read more

Cody M. said, "I saw the bad reviews on here and was wondering how a UPS Store could be that bad. Well, now I had the displeasure of witnessing it first hand." My wife and I are moving from Niagara Falls, Ontario to Orlando. We plan on moving in the general neighborhood this UPS Store is located in. I e-mailed the store and told them I was currently out-of-state and needed to rent a mailbox. They e-mailed me a flyer with their prices as well as the required documents (USPS authorization form, agreement, credit card details, etc.) I purchased a money order for US$230, had the documents notarized at my local UPS Store on Military Road in Niagara Falls, N.Y., with whom I have done business with for years and is a fantastic location. Then I mailed them down to Florida. A week later, I phoned this location to ask if they had received their documents. I spoke to a very friendly lady named Jeanette. However, she was surprised about the money order. They don't take money orders. (Seriously?!) She said she was sure she could make an exception in this case. A day later I called back to follow up and ended up speaking to Raymond, who presented himself as "The Manager." He said he had over-ruled Jeanette and would not accept the money order. Policy. "We don't accept money orders." He went on to say that not only did he not accept money orders, he had no idea what it was nor did he know how to process it. I told him, "That's easy. Put it in the same bank deposit wallet you put your cash in, write $230 under "check" and take it to the bank." Raymond wanted to charge my credit card the $230, plus an additional $30 (approximately). He explained the additional charges as being the "set-up fee." Then he said, "Plus, we have something called 'taxes' here in the United States." I told Raymond if he didn't accept the money order, he could return it and I would not do business with him. He said his was the most prestigious address in Orlando and his mailboxes rented quite easily (i.e. I don't need your business). However, he did say he would consult with "The Owner" and see if she could make an exception and accept the money order. I week later, having not heard anything, I sent the following e-mail: --- Hello, I was wondering if there has been a resolution to the money order I sent you. If you want to apply the money order to my balance owing, you can charge the difference to my credit card. I'm actually doing you a favor since you'll be paying less in merchant charges. If you'd rather not have my business, please drop the money order back in the mail and tell the owner why you lost my business. I don't do the Microsoft thing...I don't beg companies to do business with me, I don't do their product support, and I don't waste my time dealing with their nonsense. Take it or leave it. Simple as that. Thanks. BTW, When I was in the UPS store here in The Falls this morning, they said, yes, they take money orders all the time. They're as good as cash. --- To which Raymond replied: --- Hello David, I want to thank you for kind words and will return your money order and documents. I have made the decision not go forward with this transaction due to the very poor choice of words used and expressed on your behalf. I wish you all the best and I do not need the business or to subject myself to such disrespect from any individual with such poor regard to human kindness. Sincerely, Raymond --- Three weeks later, I still don't have my $230 money order back. So on February 10, I followed up again with Raymond: --- I regret your over-sensitivity, which is certainly not suited to the retail / business world. Dissatisfied customers - particularly those dealing with an unreasonable business policy - are a fact of life. I also note my unhappiness with your location is also shared by those who have left reviews on Yelp! ... I would like to bring to your attention that I have still not received this money order back at either my home or local UPS store address (who DO accept money orders). Please undertake to return this money order at your earliest convenience to... --- Raymond replied he had simply sent my original envelope back "return to sender" on January 24. So, as the other reviews indicate, he'll shear the sheep (i.e. the tourists) when they come in. But he can't spring for a stamp to put on an envelope to send my money order back. I might also add I am also a UPS commercial shipping account holder. Seriously, why would anybody do business with this place. Super disappointed with this store. Do not use this location. I used their computers for less than two minutes and was charged $5 to print a packing slip, which is a single sheet of paper. Especially during these times how can you charge someone $5 to use a computer for less than a minute and print a piece of paper. The staff at this store was incredibly helpful. I ordered something online and had it shipped to a friend who has a mailbox at this store. The order shipped under my name instead of my friend's name. Raymond tracked down my contact information and called me. He was incredibly helpful and agreed to ship the package to a different address. Eventually, when I realized the package shipped under the wrong name, Raymond refunded the cost of shipping and made sure the package made it to the correct mailbox. I saw the bad reviews on here and was wondering how a UPS Store could be that bad. Well, now I had the displeasure of witnessing it first hand. I was out of town visiting Disney and Universal this week and had to drop off a package early during the morning we left to go back home. I was in a rush and had the shipping label already on me. Since I was out of town and wasn't expecting to have to use the UPS Store during vacation, I didn't have any tape on hand to tape the shipping label to the box. Also, the box was very large and heavy and even if I could find tape on such short notice, it'd be scotch tape. I didn't think that would suffice to hold the weight of the object within the packaging, so I thought "no big deal, every other UPS store I've ever been to in the US taped it for me when necessary". Well, I was wrong. I walk into a very empty UPS Store with the sole employee standing at the desk watched me as I lug the very large and heavy package into the store. When I told the employee my situation (no tape), he openly (and very rudely) went out of his way to inform me that they don't tape up drop offs, but they'll do it just this once. I find this very hard to believe as I've never had this problem at another UPS Store, and would be willing to pay if necessary, but no, the employee was just compelled to be a jerk about everything. In the end, I got what I needed taken care of, but it makes me much more appreciative of my local UPS stores that I use regularly. read more

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Have traveled lots as contractor and this is by far my favorite PO Box. Staff (and owner) always greet me as I come in, often check my mail for me before can even walk back to the boxes, and have helped carry my amazon boxes out to my car. Always been over the top in service and positive attitude. Been using this location for almost a year and never found an employee in a bad mood. This place spoils me with customer service. read more

The staff there was absolutely fantastic and, due to their being no poster printer on location, Raymond, the manager, went out of his way to pick up the poster from another location further out of the way. The staff at this UPS store were sooo helpful! I was able to get my print job handled easily and right away. Usually it takes forever to get all set up and even then the printing is always a hassle, but here they were able to get me a few color paper selections for my project and an otherwise stressful ordeal was super quick and easy. If I could give a negative star, I would. They just up-charged me $34 for 4 day shipping whereas usps charges $6-9 for 3 day shipping. When asked why the price was so high, they stated oh you know it can get lost so this is the only way to track it properly. Highway robbery especially being in a tourist area! read more

I've used this particular UPS store's mail box service (works very much like a PO box) to handle mail for me, as I live and work overseas. We opened our account with them in 2014, and have had nothing but positive experiences with them. The staff there regularly and routinely goes "beyond" the call of duty. For instance, since international mail IS expensive, I ask them to filter thru my mail and trash anything that is clearly junk mail, before sending it to me. This is at least once a month, sometimes twice, and is not something I think that was envisioned for the typical customer. They are always happy to go the extra mile. They take the time to un-box bulky shipments that I send there and consolidate them, still well-backed, into a single box to go overseas. I've never had any issues with items breaking in transit - and we ship with them LOTS, so there have been plenty of opportunities. Just one comment in regards to a couple of the other reviews on here regarding prices: UPS IS expensive internationally. It's expensive because it WORKS and your PACKAGE ARRIVES IN A GUARANTEED AMOUNT OF TIME. I have actually had quite good luck with US Postal Service (USPS) international mail thru the UPS Store, which is much cheaper than UPS - however - it takes 50% longer at least, and the delivery times as provided by the USPS system are not accurate. This is not a fault of the UPS Store mind you. USPS partners with the destination country's local mail service, as well as mail services in intermediary countries, so there is much less control over the overall process. Back to this store - I trust these people as well. Being overseas creates some logistical challenges - I know that the people there are looking out for me and can be counted on to help me out if I have some unusual or special requirements. My situation is probably not the typical one for a customer of this store, but on the other hand, I've got a lot more experience with them than most - and would not keep using them for something as important as this if they weren't very good at what they do. read more
