The team is Suddath was incredible to work with on our cross-town residential move. Dan Lees set everything up and came to our old place to assess what we have and give us an accurate estimate of moving costs. He also gave us a few great money saving tips about buying our own bags for mattresses / getting a special TV box. On moving day, Neri and Felix showed up during the required window and were great to work with. Moving is always stressful, and they were great to work with to help reduce this. No complaints from them about having to bring heavy furniture up our stairs in our two-story townhouse. Everything was delivered without damage including my piano. This company is the worst moving company ever! Do not trust them with your things. My husband is active in the US Army and we were given Suddath to move out house hold goods. We were told we were going to get our things delivered 2 weeks from our pick up date. They did not start the paper work until we reached out to them the day before our delivery date and they keep lying to us and telling us our things will get deliverer by a certain date. We are now waiting for almost a month for our things have not yet come. read more

My company recently contracted with Suddath for a warehouse move to a new facility after being in the same location for over 15 years. Our experience with John, Rich, and the entire crew was exceptional. Right from the start, I was impressed by John and Rich's professionalism and knowledge. Throughout the entire process, he was easy to work with, displayed consistent follow-through, and communicated well with our team. Rich was extremely knowledgeable and selected an excellent crew to work with us on our move day. The movers on moving day were hardworking, considerate and careful with our product, located items just as we needed, and worked quickly yet safely. Anil Patton and his partner, Chuck, worked efficiently and were careful to wrap each item of furniture separately. I woke up this morning feeling very anxious because this was moving day. Actually it was packing day but no less daunting. The Suddath crew,Jason, Carmen, Thomas, LG, and Lucas, showed up promptly and from there out it was something to see! They packed our 4br 3bth home in less than 8 hours. I could not believe how professional and pleasant this team is. There were a couple of times when I screwed up and had to have them dig through boxes to find the item that I forgot to put aside! It was unbelievable how they were able to find my item quickly and cheerfully. (If it was me the cheerful wouldn't apply). in the last week December 20, 2017-Our crew was Jonathan and Luis from Orlando, and Travis and Sebastion from Atlanta. Overall, they did a great job. Jonathan was a very effective and thorough team leader. We were very concerned about protecting the wood floors, which are everywhere in our new home. They took great care to place furniture without dragging it across the floors and they laid protective runners throughout. The only minor problem was with Luis, who did not speak English. Occassionally, he wanted to slide furniture or he failed to call out tag numbers on items he took into the house. When spoken to about it, he acted like he understood, but would go back to whatever he was doing wrongly. Not so much an attitude problem, as much as a language barrier. He would do better to be always paired with a translator. Nothing was lost after having been stored for several weeks, and we were very pleased with how helpful, considerate and flexible the crew was. They were careful of our freshly-painted walls and cleaned up very well onside and outside. Additionally, they were very professional and upbeat, even when it poured cold, windy winter rain for almost the entire time. Great communication from Jonathan and Jacksonville office-before and after. Great job and I would highly recommend them to others! read more

Horrible customer service! This was the worst experience I've ever had moving. My family and I are moving to a different state because my husband is in the military. Not only did the movers never show up but when you call to talk to someone they constantly transfer you to another line that no one picks up. When we finally did talk to someone they kept saying that they were going to be there eventually but they couldn't tell us when. It is now 5 hours past the time when they were supposed to arrive and still no word on when they will be here. When talking to customer service the lady explained to my husband and I that "it doesn't take that long to pack up dishes" and "well, how much stuff do you have?" To top it all off, the truck driver is here to pick up the non-existant boxes, even he can't get through to anyone on the phone! If I could give no stars at all, I would! We paid money and did not receive a service. I hope this isn't how this company treats all their service men and women! Disgusting, you should be ashamed! read more

Absolutely horrible! Twin Oaks was assigned to me by Suddath Relocation Systems to have my household goods moved. Anyone serving in the military knows that no matter what your household goods are broken down and setup by the moving company that is assigned to you. However that was not the case... My things arrived not setup or put together as I was told that would be and my vacuum arrived broken. Neither company did anything to help and seemed unbothered by a dissatisfied customer and veteran. I would not recommend Twin Oaks or Suddath to anyone military or not. Horrible. read more

This has been by far the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. Our belongings were packed on August 22, shipped from California on September 15 and still HAS NOT ARRIVED to Florida and it is September 22. Everything was sitting in a warehouse in California for 4 weeks. Every time I call Suddath, I can never get a straight answer as to where our belongings are and why it has not been delivered. It has been 5 weeks without our belongings! We have been living out of our suitcases for a whole month. This company has no answers and compassion. Do not move with this company!!!! read more

Absolutely the worst moving experience ever. We have relocated perhaps 10 times over the years, and this move was by far the worst we have encountered. The day of packing, only one person showed up to pack the entire house. He kept saying others were on the way, but noneone ever showed. The following morning, loading day, only the driver showed up. No help at all!! he had to first complete the packing from the day before, and then began loading. BY HIM SELFF!! He told us several times that help was coming. We tried repeatedly to reach our move consultant, but could only get her voicemail. Finally, at about 4:30, to more guys showed up to help the driver. They eventually finished loading the truck at 9pm. But wait, that's not it. When the load was delivered to our new house, they were not able to park at our house, and said they could not use the driveway because the truck weighed too much. They told us this should have been set up a shuttle delivery. The driver had to go to the local U-Haul and rent a truck. They then loaded our goods onto that truck and finally after two trips our stuff was unloaded. And by the way, we have never heard from these people after complaining about the move. Would NOT recommend based on my experience. Moved out of state and had damage done to my new home. I did not see it until I cleaned up after the mover left. I was encouraged by my Suddath contact to put in an insurance claim with them, and this turned out to be a total waste of my time. After getting 2 estimates, the claim was denied based on the fact I did not see the damage before the mover left (which I had stated upfront). Also I did not like that they used different workmen to help with the move on both ends. They did not know which rooms furniture went in and kept asking me. And I had to request a refund (many times) for things not packed by the movers, but that I had paid for in advance. The company has not responded in the past seven weeks to my Better Business Bureau complaint, the Orlando general manager never responded to my email asking questions regarding the damage claim, and they never sent me a survey of how I would rate my move (which they use the results for to sell their services. No wonder their reviews are so high...) read more

We have moved 4 times throught the country, and the move by Suddath relocations was the worst we have ever experienced. The company suggests purchasing insurance to cover damages, but they don't tell you the damages will most likely be done by their actual movers. We had over $11,000 worth of damage and they covered $1800 and then took out the deductable of $500. This company presents iteself as very pofesional, but do not be fooled, you WILL regret it! read more

Suddath did an amazing job with my move! They contacted me numerous times preparation of the move, came over to our apartment a couple times to do a check on our inventory and drop boxes off, and they even kept me updated throughout the drive from Florida to Pennsylvania. The people that worked with us were extremely friendly and gave a VERY fair rate. Their job also included a partial pack of the apartment we were moving out of and they were very meticulous with this pack. Everything was wrapped safely and lots of boxes/packing paper was used. Horrible....spent extra to have a glass dining room table packed and delivered. They lost all the parts and it can't be put together. Although spending nearly $600 extra to have the table crated up they are offering $90 to replace it. I was in Bethesda, MD going to South Florida. Mark Pryol sold me the services and assured me that the table would be insured extra. Zahree Sabree was the coordinator that didn't know what she was doing and didn't call the 3rd party to come pack up the table until the morning of my move. This is really what caused all the confusion to begin. Kathleen Shea called during the ensuing mess of a move to assure me. She wanted me to have the movers take the glass top and frame and have the third party pack it up the next day. When asked what would happen if it broke in the meantime she told me it wouldn't be covered. That the extra money gave an extra insurance to the table. So we waited until 7pm for the 3rd party to come. Mover who delivered my belongings came to unpack and realized there wasn't a parts box. This is standard operating procedure. This is my 4th long distance move. Every other one had box #1 as the parts box. Disgusted. Don't use them. read more

I have moved several times, and this has been the best moving experience I have ever experienced! The movers were courteous, on-time, extremely careful, thoughtful and efficient. Every one of them was introduced by name, and took extra care of all of my belongings, many of which are delicate, breakable, and/or have many parts. There was someone who oversaw the quality of their work, and another to direct the paperwork and who packed which room how. The truck itself was expertly packed. And the contents arrived completely undamaged and well organized. I was wonderfully impressed. The ones who oversaw the job even came to the next town I was moving to to make sure everything was in order and that I was happy with the service. I could not have asked for better. I was finishing grad school and getting ready to move for a new job when Suddath came to move me out of my high-rise apartment. I'd packed most of my personal belongings into boxes, and thought it would be a quick process to load up the rest of my stuff. My mover team arrived bright and early, right on time, and as they were working I realized just how much work goes in to moving the non-boxes items. I have a lot of art as well as fragile furniture, and this team did an excellent job of wrapping mirrors and art, boxing my flat screen tvs, and making sure that additional pieces like the glass top to my kitchen table were protected. They did a tremendous job, were polite and professional, and completed the process so much faster than I could have managed even if I had the same number of friends helping--they worked faster and more efficiently than I would have managed. Some of my furniture pieces are quite large, including a 6'x6' media center/bookcase, that I honestly would have probably had to throw away if I hadn't had a moving team. This is the second move I have done with a Suddath crew--the first was after I finished undergrad, and honestly I didn't have that much stuff to move (just a bedroom set and kitchen supplies) so I didn't really appreciate how much work goes in to this process, but I am very glad I had them on this move. Additionally, I know furniture is made to sit in your house, not be moved on trucks and dollies, so I expected damages after both of my moves--I was pleasantly surprised to find that not a single item was broken/scratched/damaged, which was an awesome bonus. read more

Is there a way to give NO STARS? The movers were complaining the whole time they were at my house, took 7 hours to pack me up with 6 guys - in a 1100 square foot home with only 60 total boxes. Then when I got my shipment, the poor guys on the receiving end could not find everything to reassemble my furniture. The FL movers had taken all parts and just dumped them into one box, no labels, no directions. They FL movers took apart things they said to economize on space, but of course not needed. When they took things apart, they broke them. They promise me that someone will come and fix it.... still waiting. Worse movers ever, there are things that are separated from each other in different boxes, so a lamp base here, pieces in two other boxes - it is just a mess and I am still waiting to hear back as to when an adjuster will actually contact me. Promises to make it all right. Doubt that will happen. read more

Like Superman, Suddath flew in just when I needed them. Joshua Johnson came out immediately and gave a price quote within minutes of assessing all of my items. He came up with some cost-saving alternatives for moving some of my more fragile items. It was night and day compared to the other company. Suddath was professional, clean, quick, and extremely nice. The moving team called the day before their arrival to confirm all of the details. On moving day, they arrived right on time and got to work immediately. Rick and Neal were my movers, and they could not have been nicer. They wrapped everything fully and completely, and re-taped some of the boxes my family had taped that weren't secure enough to make the move. They carefully moved all of my furniture and electronics. Once at the new location, they arranged and aligned everything exactly how I asked. They even offered suggestions based on room layout and tried a few different setups to see which I would like the best, and what would be the most functional (ensuring drawers and cabinet doors wouldn't open into each other). The Suddath team was simply amazing. Every employee I dealt with, from Joshua Johnson who provided me with the moving quote, to my moving coordinator Terri Alderson, to my movers Rick and Neal was courteous, kind, friendly, understanding, and honest. I would feel confident in recommending Suddath Relocation Systems to anyone who needs to move and wants his or her items to arrive in one piece. This moving company was great. The person that came to the house was extremely nice and very helpful. He explains what they were going to do, when they would be there for pick up and the costs involved. There were 2 men that showed up for the moving process and both were extremely professional and careful with all of my belongings. I needed them for pick up in less than 2 weeks and they were the only ones that could and would accommodate my schedule. I was told it could take up to 2 weeks for delivery because I did not have a full truck. My things were combined with 2 other customers. I had my delivery in 6 days. I was moving from New Smyrna FL to northern Maryland. It took me 2 days to drive there myself. I was dealing with a father that had days to live in DE and a mother in MD that was also extremely ill. These guys were wonderful and I know when I move out of my apartment into a permanent home I would not hesitate to use them again! read more
