Brent did a site visit at my home to give me an accurate quote and told me if I need boxes prior to my move, I could pick them up from their warehouse. I did need boxes and Esteban ended up dropping them off to me which was really nice! My move took two days - the first for packing and loading my belongings and the second for moving and unpacking. The three gentlemen who did this for us, Arod, Josh and Gabe were really pleasant and efficient. I was impressed with how the guys who did the moving, but they did break part of a stair. At the beginning the company was very responsive in trying to get it fixed. Had someone come by and get the piece of wood to get the right kind so they can fix it- since then they have ghosted me, multiple calls and emails later and 3 months, no response. We hired this company to support us to pack our entire house and support us to load our things into a Pod. When the team came out they told us that a few things may not be able to fit in Pod. We let them know that they should pack everything. Put as much as they could in the Pod and leave the remaining packed materials in the garage. What the team did was pack half of our house and sloppily filled the Pod. In the garage they left our furniture unwrapped and items like mirrors dangerously balanced on furniture. They also let us know that they ran out to boxes after we gave them $413 for boxes alone. We were told as they left our house a mess with trash and unpacked items that they had to go to another job. When I called their team to complain about my experience I was told that they would investigate and send me an update. Four days later I received an invoice letting me know how much I would have to pay for them to return. I was shocked that there was no follow up after so many high reviews. I was also disappointed that I had to hire another company and pay again to have them pack the left over items and repack many of their unsafe boxes left by their team. On top of everything one of their employees stole money from our home. This was a nightmare and I want others to avoid situations like this with Headway. read more

We hired Headway Moving after receiving a gleaming recommendation from a friend who has used them several times. We were moving 1.3 miles down the road so we did the small stuff ourselves but needed movers to handle the furniture. We have moved several times, this time being the shortest distance. I've moved with them 2x. The first time was about 2 years ago from a Lake Mary town home with some items going to storage in Deltona and other items going to a different home. It was an 8 hour day and the service was great. It was a fair price and the professionalism was on par. Head FAR AWAY from Headway Moving, that is if you don't want your rare irreplaceable antiques BROKEN! Insufficient wrapping, non-padded truck bottom for transport, and on top of that, THEY LIED to me about reimbursement for my custom marble table pedestal that they broke into pieces WHILE STILL IN MY HOUSE. They told me to send them an invoice for a replacement and that they would file through insurance and reimburse me. I even wrote this down on their signoff form. Deducted $50 for breaking legs on 5 different cherry, mahoghany and teak furniture pieces, scratched my brand new fridge which I didn't realize until after the fact; broke hinges off of my antique Chinese screen, obliterated 2 plant stands and my teak magazine rack. When I followed up with them after several back and forths, they said the $50 included the marble pedestal. On what planet can you buy one for that??? RAT BASTARDS! read more

Headway Moving made moving so quick and easy I wasn't sure what to do with the rest of my day! I have moved a lot in the past 8 or so years, and I have always done it myself, so this was the first time I have ever used a moving service and I was excited/nervous/unsure what to expect. I did a lot of research through various websites and found Headway to have a very good reputation with very little negative feedback. I also found that the price was a little higher than some of the other companies, but I also knew to expect higher prices for good service. When I called to inquire on a quote Debi was very thorough in asking questions to determine my needs and promptly sent a quote the next day. As the big day approached I sent a couple of emails asking questions which were also quickly answered. When the day arrived, the movers showed up right on the time we had agreed upon, complete with 3 guys and a huge truck. They introduced all of themselves then got right to work. And when I say work, I mean it! They worked very quickly, efficiently, and carefully, and while I wasn't sure what to expect, I was incredibly impressed with their work ethic. I had heard stories of movers taking their sweet time to rack up that hourly rate, but that certainly wasn't the case here. They got everything wrapped up and loaded on to the truck (I had previously packed most of everything), and said they would meet us at the new apartment once they got everything secured. I arrived at my new apartment (literally 1.5 miles away) and unloaded some stuff from my car and started getting things settled in. It had been about 30 or so minutes since I had arrived, and they still hadn't, so I gave them a call to see where they were and they were close. 25 minutes later, they showed up, and turns out they had entered the wrong address in to the GPS (they used South instead of North, easy mistake as the same address did exist as South, too). But once they arrived, they quickly got to work again and had everything unloaded quite quickly. When it came time for the final bill I was nervous to see it, especially since the wrong address added quite a bit of time. I should have known better than to worry, because these guys were super professional and apologetic about the wrong address, and they didn't count any of that extra time in my final tally without any prompting from me- consider me impressed. After unpacking everything, all of my stuff was still in great condition with nothing of importance broken or messed up in any way. Overall, this moving experience was the easiest, and completely done within just half a day- I legitimately didn't know what to do with the rest of the day I wasn't expecting to have. Headway moving was professional, careful, efficient, and friendly, and there really isn't anything I can say against them. I highly recommend them and will come back to them for any moving needs in the future. read more
