The staff is extremely rude. I rented a dolly/ in exchange of my drivers license, and they lost my DL when I returned the equipment. Not only was I moving and needed to drive the van I rented but they did NOTHING to help. They yelled and gave me attitude, their "manager" ignored me and told me in a sarcastic tone to go ahead and call the cops. This is the WORST customer service...I had to go back hours later and pick up my DL since they were able to locate the person who took it. Not only they shared my personal information with a complete stranger, gave me attitude, NEVER apologized and when I returned they made me wait to get my documentation back. I called corporate and made a complaint.. I understand mistakes happen, but nobody owned the mistake and the attitude they gave me was UNACCEPTABLE! read more

customer service is horrible, I was welcome with a staff member screaming at me then 3 others joined to do the same. Next day I had a question about a lock and the responded with att and pretty much were very bothered I asked them something. One of them was even screaming again on the other room. they always have an bad attitude specially if you have any questions. The customer service here is really bad. There's one lady who is nice but the one with fair skin, brown hair (Latina I believe) is so rude, loud, cussing about her job and ppl in front of customers. You ask a question and she's quick to have attitude. I love writing positive reviews so it's unfortunate that her attitude was so poor that I'm having to write this. Being disrespectful to someone that walks in with a smile and just needing a few questions answered isn't good for business. What would you call when you make arrangements for a 5 x 7 storage, and when you get there with the movers, they tell you that they don't have that size and you have to take another storage for almost double the price you had been given over the phone? This is exactly what happened to me. It is frustrating and very dissapointing. These storage places must be regulated. They also told me that the rent would increase every 6 months over the phone and in the place they say they don't guarantee when they will rise, they just would let me know by email 30 days in advance. Where do I start. When I first rented the unit it wasn't the most accommodating customer service and I think in this industry customer service should be sensitive to the fact moving is stressful and try to make it leas stressful not add stress. Let's make a long story short.. after 6 hours of packing, 2 hours loading a truck and then arriving at the facility and unloading 3/4 of a truck, we were fully packed in the elevator sending the last load when the entire facility shut down, elevators locked and all the staff very rudely left us in the lobby. No warning they were closing. No sympathy. No empathy. We then had to unload the elevator and reload the truck and the furniture had to move to the removals' storage shed and be rescheduled. This was a serious WTF moment as we were stranded in the lobby. No one once told us there is NO after hours access. There are no signs. No warnings. I'm only giving the review 1 star because the facility itself is brand new and nice and very clean and elevators are large. I'm deducting 4 stars for the entire inconvenience and lack of communication, lack of signage and having to get up at 5.30am and come back the next day because my keys were stuck upstairs locked in and my storage open and they wouldn't even allow us up to close the facility or get my keys. The staff members "don't care" attitude was beyond unappreciated after a stressful day. Unforgivingly so. Did I mention removal companies charge by the hour and for storage? If I didn't know better I'd say Public Storage owes me a few months credit for this major screw around! Definitely not a pleasant first time experience. read more

The biggest reason I LOVE this place is because of the women at the front desk. They are intelligent, competent, professional, and SO helpful. The prices are insane. I found a storage unit online for the same size and it is costing 89$ and the lock is included. The hours are till 10pm. They make their carts available all day even after office hours..Staff does not help when it comes to loosing your belongings. I know this has to be paid but I believe these are people's valuables whether it's junk to others to them its the o ly rhing they process and I think that their should be a flexibility on payments as far as Maki g partial payments to help renters catch up and not loose their stuff, but I guess that's their trick to make ir hard so t.yoh loose tour belongings a d they auction it off for nothing. I actually assisted one of thr auctions 3 years ago when I owed close to 1000$ because I was homeless and without a job and I bid on my storage and won and paid 100$ that is crazy. From 1000$ to 100. On the date of April 29 2023, we rented a storage unit. Arriving to the location at about 4:30, I go in to get a cart. The lady at the desk, Lisa immediately screams out to me, no more carts, as there was clearly one available. I inquired about it, she told me the time had expired for cart usage and that I could go purchase one. I retrieve a few belongings and go back to my truck. I see a woman walking out with the same cart she said I couldn't use. I go back in to ask her why did she tell me the time had expired but she allowed another person to to use it. She responded with, "I told you that you can go buy one"..i politly asked "why ma'am when I can use what was paid for? As a valued customer for well over 20 years, I am highly disgusted with the interaction as a paying customer. Lisa was belligerent and lacked professionalism in every manner. I strongly recommend she gets training on her people skills. read more

The facility is very new so that is one good thing. However, as mentioned in other reviews, the staff are completely unprofessional and rude. They totally have a "we don't give a $%#K attitude." It is almost comical. Whoever the owner/area-regional manager is . . .if you're not hitting your targets for this property, l would take this review as a clue. My unit had a layer of dust on the floor when I moved in. In the low light, I didn't notice at first when they showed me the unit. The bathroom is disgusting yet there are 4 staff sitting in the office doing nothing. Maybe they are not responsible for the bathrooms? No hand soap in the mens room for several days. How are people that work here washing their hands? Also there has been some sort of alarm going off in the main entrance for 5 days. Nobody seems to care. Is there a sign up apologizing for any inconvenience. Of course not. I am not storing anything of real value, so I will put up with it for the price. But if you are looking to spend some $$ and store you most precious items/a vehicle. I would look elsewhere. read more

Buyer beware. I've used self-storage facilities in six states over the past 17 years. The good here? It's a new facility. The bad? None have jacked up the storage rate as quickly as Public Storage. Somewhere around four months after you start they will jack up your rent by 50%. That's FIFTY PERCENT. They'll probably raise it again in another four to six months which is what another Public Storage customer told me (so a hefty raise twice inside of one year). Your $75 space will quickly become $150. That's usurious in my opinion. It's the old bait and switch. And one of the office reps lied about something that would have had a direct impact on the security of my contents so I was not happy about that. I'll be switching to another company when I get back in town. read more

Though, I experienced some technical issues with my account overcharging me for more than six months, she stayed on top of the matter and assured me that it was a glitch and that I was to continue to pay my normal rate. I rented a unit when I saw Bobby that he used to work on dade bv he was so great that I rented ride away, he cares about customers he and Osiris cares about safety I'm very thankful for the service I got and even when I thought that they were open till 9 pm they explained me with a very friendly attitude. Problems? You will have all of them here! Hurricane - flood, location was closed for 3 weeks. Inspection of my unit , no water marks. My tv when connected...dead!! After not having access to my unit for a month I moved out, october 16th. I informed the gentleman (not really) at customer service and as instructed left the door lifted opened. They charged me for november!!! They DIDNT check the unit until I called to know why I was charged. According to the person that talked to me it was a mistake, my money was going to be reimbursed...NOTHING!! Now...I just got an email...they are also charging me for december 2017!!!!Please Public Storage, interfere in this non ses horrrible managed location. I want my money back! read more

I moved a one bedroom apartment into a 10x10 yesterday which I had booked online weeks ago. The day of my move I realized I still needed to finish my reservation at the facility and was now in a major time crunch. Osiris, the property manager, was incredibly helpful. Let's just say my move would not have gone smoothly without her. She found me a great unit near the elevator, was quick, very clear with instructions, and even encouraged me to try entering the codes and using the lock to make sure I was good to go. Later that day when I arrived with my movers, it was pouring and she made room for them in the covered driveway. To top it off, the move took longer than expected and the staff was patient with me. At 4:59 we still needed to take my couch upstairs and it would have been a nightmare if they had shut down at 5pm, but they waited a few extra minutes. This facility also offered the best price and is very clean. Would definitely recommend. To the staff if you're reading this, thank you!! read more

Do not rent here- management recently changed! Nick who used to run this place was amazing. I had two units at this location and the hallway light was completely out in one of them, making it IMPOSSIBLE to safety enter and exit my unit. Upon renting this was promised to be fixed. After explaining this is probably against building violations, I was told it would be done in two weeks, never was, and the light was never even ordered. I took the next action to move OUT of this location and when my moving truck arrived the professional movers were told they were not allowed on the property. I immediately called the central office to speak to a district manager and while I was on the phone with a stunned operator, the property manager came running outside to scream at me that they were not allowed to park in the parking lot with their truck. (The truck was not blocking anyone and moving trucks park there all the time. My moving company had never heard of such a thing). Overall extremely disappointing experience with Public Storage in regard to this property's new manager- they drove me out of my two storage units and told my moving truck they weren't allowed. If it wasn't so frustrating, it'd almost be comical. Such a nightmare. read more

If you book online, you're under no obligation so I decided I'd stop by and see how it was in person. Osiris is a dream to work with!! She is extremely professional and understood my concern for leaving items so long. She mentioned they lost part of the roof from Irma so she tries not to put people on the top floor in case there's another storm. She told me it's company policy for rent to go up after 6 months and she tries to call and let people know about promotions because she understands $20/month can make a big difference for some people's budgets. The day I moved, storage was closing within an hour so we wouldn't have access. While inconvenient that day, I feel safer knowing no one has access after 6pm. I ended up needing a bigger unit and she was quick to find me the best value and location close to the elevator the next day when I could move in. So far, an extremely positive experience. read more
