And very helpful staff, the entire process didn't take long, but a few minutes, which was nice. They also have carts you can use to move items from your car to the unit, but ask that you return them to the area where you picked them up. But when I went back a few days later to move items into the unit, one of the elevators was down, leaving only 1 working. And you can't use the stairs, saw a sign that the opening exit would sound the alarm, which was a bit of a hassle, as a few other customers were moving stuff at the same time. No cart was available, which made the process a bit longer. But overall, I'm happy with deciding to use them.

When I asked who has access to our units they said only the person with the key fobs and to speak to my husband who is the only one with the key fob. Um duhh why do you think I'm calling to make a report. My husband is the one who discovered that the kitchen aid that belonged to his deceased step mother is missing. Please do not store any valuables here. Take a picture of what your storage looks like every time you visit. And take good pictures of what you have in there. When I stated I would file a police report & that the police would request access to the cameras they stated that they do not provide access to the cameras inside only the front door. How convenient when it's clearly an inside job. When I say pissed that's an understatement. I will be removing everything from this storage.

This is unfortunate as I am on the other side of the country and this is a business expense. Surely a storage unit deals with people that aren't local all the time, why have such a ridiculous policy about receipts? As someone from Sweden, Spare Space Miami's unreliable access, poor communication, and inconsistent…read morepolicies turned a simple storage rental into a costly ordeal. The QR code I was given didn't work, leaving me unable to access my unit before flying back to Sweden. As a result, I had to leave my belongings behind and pay for extra months. Despite verifying my identity multiple times, management refused to cut my lock for retrieval and attempted to charge a higher fee than stated in my contract. Although the contract allowed rental transfers, I was later told this wasn't permitted. It took nearly two months to regain access, resulting in unnecessary additional costs. Overall, a frustrating experience with no flexibility. I cannot recommend Spare Space Miami and property manager Suley Mehabat did everything she could to NOT help me. For someone moving to Dublin, Ireland shortly afterwards, I had to spend first 2 months with sub optimal clothing as I had over 100 ibs of belongings locked up in the US.
