I reserved a unit online and was required to upload my driver's license. I tried more than a dozen times and the system would not accept it. I then called the Coral Way location and spoke directly with a staff member, who asked me to email my ID to her. She confirmed she received it while I was on the phone, told me everything was set, and provided me with my gate code and storage unit number. A week later, my daughter went to the facility on a Sunday with a full car, ready to unload and the gate code did not work. Since the office was closed, the call center answered. They told me the issue was that my ID was never uploaded. I explained the entire situation, including that the onsite employee had received my ID and issued the gate code and unit number. They even contacted the district manager and claimed the issue was "fixed." After 45 minutes of back-and-forth, the gate code still never worked. I requested a refund the following Monday. It has now been over a week and a half (almost two weeks), and I still have not received my deposit. I keep getting the runaround with no resolution. This experience was disorganized, frustrating, and completely unreliable. I strongly advise anyone considering this location to stay away. I truly feel like I dodged a major bullet. KEEP AWAY I have contacted the office directly multiple times. All with no results.

Seems strange that when asked about the theft, the manager - has not been able to tell the same story twice. - told us that he had talked to the police about the theft. - told the Miami Police, in Spanish, that they did not have any right to see or obtain the video surveillance of the theft. - has consistently made the entire theft sound like it was no big deal. - when confronted with the fact that people renting the unit next to one of ours checked out the previous day, says it was just coincidence. - his attitude in all conversations has been evasive. The units are so flimsy they can be broken into with a pry bar. The security is a joke. The manager claims he has no available records of anyone entering the facility through the code locked doors and elevators. Kinda sounds like he is covering up for the thieves or is in on the thieft. The haul was over $100,000 in personal belongings, many of which are irreplaceable. DO NOT STORE ANYTHING AT THIS FACILITY!

I randomly discovered this place while searching for storage on Google Maps. What caught my attention about this particular storage right away was the prices - they looked very reasonable online on the official website. I had checked a few other storage facilities around Midtown Miami, and StorageMart definitely offered the best deals for the same-sized units. But when I actually visited the StorageMart and spoke with the Rental Office manager, he told me that the prices are a little higher if you book directly with them. The online deals are cheaper; take note of that! Another plus about this facility - there were three people working at the Rental Office that day. At other storage companies I visited, there was usually just one person at the office. The manager here was nice and friendly. He gave me a tour of the facility and answered all my questions. I left with a very positive impression of the place. Everything looked very good and clean. There were no weird smells on the floors. Every floor I checked had good lighting, and the air conditioners were working well - the air was perfectly cool. The only negative thing I can mention about this facility is that there aren't many parking spots (I believe I counted just about six). When I arrived, all the spots were taken, so I had to park on a side street near the storage. Also, honestly, the location of the storage isn't ideal. It's separated from Midtown Miami by a highway, so it's definitely complicated if you're a pedestrian and want to walk there from Midtown. To sum up: I think this StorageMart property is very nice, and I am seriously considering renting a unit here. I can absolutely recommend it!

Lies and more lies. Do NOT store your car at this company. You will be CONSTANTLY lied to and…read morereceive nothing of what you are told and what you have booked. I came in 1 month ago and walked around the garage with Chris Negron (manager and bait and switcher) to choose a specific spot for a reason (#16 in the bigger garage). It was in the corner with less cars that would drive to it. The spaces were much wider so I wouldn't have to worry about other car doors, etc. I was repeatedly told when I was there by Chris that #16 was mine. I called 2 weeks before coming in. Someone that answered the phone said "I was all set and that Chris would call me". When I didn't hear from him, I called on or around May 30 to confirm AGAIN. Chris tells me then, 5 or so days before I was leaving the country, that he rented my spot to someone else. He then said he would make it right by putting me in the "premier garage" (smaller, worse garage) and assured me that it was a better spot because "there would be no one on either side of me". After leaving the country, I called to check on things with Chris and he tells me that they are going to rent the spots next to me. A COMPLETE DOUBLE BAIT AND SWITCH BY THIS JACKASS COMPANY. The garage I am in sucks and has no room to drive in. Cars parking there get dangerously close. This is not at all what I was told I would be getting. If I hadn't left the country, I would just go get my car. The constant misrepresentations are not at all how to do business. Then I call another manager, Joseph Andre, who hears the full facts and agrees that no one should be next to me. He calls Chris and tells me that by Friday, June 5, he will have everything taken care of and email me confirmation no one will park next to me. That day passes and I hear nothing. On June 9th, I email Joseph to hear that they have decided to rent the spots next to me. Yet again more lies. DO NOT STORE YOUR CAR IN THIS GARAGE. THEY WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING TO GET YOU TO PAY AND THEN SWITCH THE PRODUCT YOU ARE GETTING.

Find somewhere else. This place isn't any cheaper than other storage places and it's mess up your…read morelife level disgusting. The most damning thing about this location is the roaches. I had clothes and some personal belongings here for under a month. When I came back everything was covered with roaches, roach eggs and black grit (I'm assuming roach poop though maybe it was rat or mouse poop. I took home my first batch of boxes and had to isolate everything outside while I painstakingly went through every fiber, pulling off the roach eggs and then crushing them so they wouldn't hatch. Each box I would open was a quick whack-a-mole of a few live roaches, the a thorough investigation of every piece to find the eggs. Then I washed and dried everything and sprayed down non clothing items with all purpose cleanser. I still have a couple boxes on my balcony that I haven't had the wherewithal to tackle - imagining the eggs and roaches that lie waiting for me there. When I came back for the last box, I ended up just throwing 95% of my stuff in the trash including a comforter and duvet that I really liked. Couldn't deal with another extermination process. Other things that make this place unacceptable: rat traps in every storage unit. Pros and cons - at least they're doing something about the rats. But still - there are rats. The last day I was here - the elevator wasn't even working properly. The elevator door on the 7th floor wouldn't close all the way on its own so it wouldn't go down. I tried calling for help and got no response. I had to send my roach infested box in the elevator on its own, then close the doors manually, run down to the 6th floor and call my box back to get on it. I thought I read somewhere that it's climate controlled but it's not. There are only fans. Mayyyybe this place could work if you're storing metal items that are not attractive to roaches but I would just try somewhere else with better ratings.
