I came in today to transfer to a different unit. Kevin made the process simple and fast. Thanks so much for your help!!!

DO NOT STORE YOUR BELONGINGS HERE. BUYER BEWARE. In less than nine months, Public Storage hiked my monthly rate to nearly 10x the introductory price I was quoted when I signed up. The first real communication I received after months of radio silence was a notice that my unit was two months overdue, along with a massive bill to prevent my late mother's belongings from being lost forever. I was forced to give up my rent money--leaving myself unhoused--just to pay off this facility, rescue my mother's memory, and move my things out of this place for good. When I called desperate for help, the employee had the nerve to ask if I had family who could pay for it, leaving me in tears at the sheer lack of empathy and basic human decency. This comes on top of them completely ignoring my voicemails after an alleged theft in February that destroyed my work tools, laptops, and original artwork, refusing to share camera footage or follow up on police reports, and using an app that activates 24-hour access charges instantly but takes two months to cancel. Save yourself the grief, financial trap, and distress: take your business somewhere else and cover your items through Lemonade renters insurance instead. read more

Public Storage exploits the military Public Storage exploits deployed active-duty military members. They wait until you are overseas, then they raise you rates every month and there is nothing you can do about it. The offered resolution was to go to the facility and ask the "manager" to reduce the rates. How when I'm overseas? If you have other options, use them, otherwise you will be paying increases every month if you want to keep your stuff. read more

Jessica and Kylee were awesome! They helped us with our storage needs from start to finish! we are so happy with the value and customer service! read more

I would recommend Public Storage and Mike M. Very highly. Mike answered all my concerns and made me feel comfortable and not rushed. Mike is definitely an asset to Public Storage. read more

Deceptive and dishonest. My rate I accepted did not say that it was introductory, special or subject to change. Yet they continually increase my rates whenever they feel like it even though I have autopay and have never missed a payment. Choose another storage business. Facilities are poorly maintained. Access to my unit was blocked by hanging cables for over two months even though I notified them and my unit is infested with spiders. read more

Jessica called me this morning willing to help set up my registration while completing eregistration I called back and needed some assistance I spoke with Danielle and she was amazing as well both ladies were very helpful and nice read more

Awesome management! Really helpful crew! I was renting at this location for a year, very safe location

Great price at a great location. Mike was extremely helpful! Glad I chose public storage.

I rented a unit here for almost two years. Unfortunately, due to a lay off due to the COVID 19, I had to move out of it, and quickly, before the next months rent was due. I notified Gabby, and she worked with me to ensure I was out by the 1st and wouldn't be charged another months rent. Thank you, Gabby, for helping during this trying time. read more

I have been trying to contact a property manager since I purchased the storage for an upgrade however I haven't not received a response back. I have left messages but no one is available. I have Gone to the site and the doors are closed :/ I have called 3 different number shown on the app and no response. I attempted to upgrade the unit online but I need a property manager to do this for me. It's upsetting and unfortunate. read more

Amazing service. Jessica was very helpful in everything that we asked and suggested a perfectly sized storage unit for the truckload we had. After a stressful trip across country... it was a nice welcome to Mesa. read more

I was very impressed with how smooth everything went when I was getting the storage. And I didn't even have to speak with a representative. Everything was done through website and text. Which worked out perfectly for me. read more

Needed help with the entry code to the gate. Instead of helping me The employee told me to move the moving truck out of the way so other people could use the gate, then threatened me by saying I was trespassing and he was going to call the cops. Could have helped me and saved everyone the hassle. read more

I highly recommend This place to store your possessions. It has 18 wheeler access. Gabby at the front desk helped me determine size of unit, advised on most cost efficient choices and walked ne through the process. She gave me written instructions for entrance code and backup phone #s. She called me the week before my checkout to personally warn me of my deadline to avoid another month's charges. The site is clean and well maintained. Gabby's good cheer helped me through a huge moment in my life and I thank her for that. read more

Public Storage - Self Storage Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

Crooked company! They get you in with $1 first month and then after that they stuck it to u! That old saying is true, u get what u pay for! I rented a unit on the 16th of the month and was told it was due by the 16th each month after. First month was $1, second was the regular price which I paid for on the 16th.. two weeks later they tell me I'm overdue on my rent and hit me with a late charge as well! Tried calling the district manager but he's not the sharpest tool in the shed. Save yourself the grief and do not use this company! read more

For the first few visits I am pleasantly surprised to find carts available to load into the temp controlled units. It has been easy to get/find and start moving stuff into my unit. The only reason I didn't give 5 starts is because of the location of theckeypad you use to exit the property. They may be geographically limited to where it can be but I drove around twice without seeing how to leave the property. Otherwise I love it! The property is clean and makes me feel my belongings are safe there! read more

First time renting a storage unit in many years. I had to change my appointment 3 times due to work hours and Gaby was very accommodating. The day of my appointment she showed me a couple storage units and helped me choose the best size and price for my needs. Gaby was courteous and knowledgeable about the units. She answered all my questions and I was very pleased with my first encounter. read more

Ok so the place is well establish, clean, and well maintained. The security system has holes in it so if that is important, pay attention to the cameras direction and make sure your unit is in view on one. The staff is usually pretty nice though they tend to be a little nosy if you stick around to long. Some the staff are not very well trained on their policies. This is where the three stars come from. When I went to rent, I specifically told the lady what I was using it for and if that was allowed. I was building up and storing a sports car that would have to be on stands for some time, which was not allowed at my apartment complex. I was told that would be fine just put down cardboard to keep oil from staining the concrete. Cool no problem there. A month goes by and I have the car on stands, engine dismantled and front suspension completely removed. One of the employees comes to check on me, and sees what I am doing and immediately tells me that it is against their rules and I can't work on my car there. She was nice about it but WTH, a little to late for that! The manager had driven as he leaves for the day by many times and never says anything. The employee looks in my unit and just shakes her head and mutters something. She then continues to swing by frequently to check up on me, which was nice of her, but also felt like I was being babysat. I read the contract, after this, and it does say that I can not perform business there and that the units are for storage only but nothing strictly keeping me from working on my car. Anyways it got to hot to work on the car, left it there until it cooled down, put the new suspension on and towed it home. It annoys me that I get told on thing, then told another down the road and shamed for it. That bugs me. Plus, they decided to randomly up my rent $30 without notice or reason. I vacated before the new charges took place. If you just want to store belongings, this will work for you but read your contract and ask the manager what is allowed and what is not and get it in writing. read more

This place is a total joke. They continually increase your rate every few months for no reason at all. They provide no additional services for the increase in fees, our unit is overrun with bugs/spiders, and yet they have raised our monthly rate twice this year by over $40. STAY AWAY. read more

While the facilities may be in good order, the customer service leaves something to desire. I have called on several occasions and each time the woman on the other end acts as if my call is incredibly inconvenient and cannot wait for me to get off the phone. In some cases the woman will tell me she is very busy and to call her back, and before I can get in a word she hangs up. This is very very bad customer service. Their website is more friendly than their staff. read more

Connie Fillicetti is phenomenal! She is approachable, friendly, professional and goes above and beyond. The staff (Kay and Peggy) are professional and the customer service is outstanding! This is my first encounter with Public Storage. Our Mayflower movers recommended your company, especially the climate-controlled units. Your storage facility is very clean and seemingly secure.
