Yet they continually increase my rates whenever they feel like it even though I have autopay and have never missed a payment. Choose another storage business. Facilities are poorly maintained. Access to my unit was blocked by hanging cables for over two months even though I notified them and my unit is infested with spiders. read more

I have been trying to contact a property manager since I purchased the storage for an upgrade however I haven't not received a response back. I have left messages but no one is available. I have Gone to the site and the doors are closed :/ I have called 3 different number shown on the app and no response. Gabby at the front desk helped me determine size of unit, advised on most cost efficient choices and walked ne through the process. She gave me written instructions for entrance code and backup phone #s. She called me the week before my checkout to personally warn me of my deadline to avoid another month's charges. Crooked company! They get you in with $1 first month and then after that they stuck it to u! That old saying is true, u get what u pay for! I rented a unit on the 16th of the month and was told it was due by the 16th each month after. First month was $1, second was the regular price which I paid for on the 16th.. two weeks later they tell me I'm overdue on my rent and hit me with a late charge as well! Tried calling the district manager but he's not the sharpest tool in the shed. Save yourself the grief and do not use this company! read more

For the first few visits I am pleasantly surprised to find carts available to load into the temp controlled units. It has been easy to get/find and start moving stuff into my unit. The only reason I didn't give 5 starts is because of the location of theckeypad you use to exit the property. They may be geographically limited to where it can be but I drove around twice without seeing how to leave the property. Otherwise I love it! Ok so the place is well establish, clean, and well maintained. The security system has holes in it so if that is important, pay attention to the cameras direction and make sure your unit is in view on one. The staff is usually pretty nice though they tend to be a little nosy if you stick around to long. Some the staff are not very well trained on their policies. This is where the three stars come from. When I went to rent, I specifically told the lady what I was using it for and if that was allowed. I was building up and storing a sports car that would have to be on stands for some time, which was not allowed at my apartment complex. I was told that would be fine just put down cardboard to keep oil from staining the concrete. Cool no problem there. A month goes by and I have the car on stands, engine dismantled and front suspension completely removed. One of the employees comes to check on me, and sees what I am doing and immediately tells me that it is against their rules and I can't work on my car there. She was nice about it but WTH, a little to late for that! The manager had driven as he leaves for the day by many times and never says anything. The employee looks in my unit and just shakes her head and mutters something. She then continues to swing by frequently to check up on me, which was nice of her, but also felt like I was being babysat. I read the contract, after this, and it does say that I can not perform business there and that the units are for storage only but nothing strictly keeping me from working on my car. Anyways it got to hot to work on the car, left it there until it cooled down, put the new suspension on and towed it home. It annoys me that I get told on thing, then told another down the road and shamed for it. That bugs me. Plus, they decided to randomly up my rent $30 without notice or reason. I vacated before the new charges took place. If you just want to store belongings, this will work for you but read your contract and ask the manager what is allowed and what is not and get it in writing. read more

While the facilities may be in good order, the customer service leaves something to desire. I have called on several occasions and each time the woman on the other end acts as if my call is incredibly inconvenient and cannot wait for me to get off the phone. In some cases the woman will tell me she is very busy and to call her back, and before I can get in a word she hangs up. This is very very bad customer service. These people how no idea what customer service is, the snide and rude folks in the office are nosy and can't think without supervision. Late fees vary and must be the new income method for Public Storage as they take over a week to process a check ensuring if you send a check you will also have to cover the $25 late fee. No accountability or communication if you are don't live there and they have a flood, when you show up next they just hand you a pile of insurance paperwork and make snotty comments of all the time it will take you to deal with the insurance company Public Storage forces everyone to pay each month. read more

I lived in AZ for 8 years and my various personal situations during that time caused me to have to get a storage unit. Over several years, I've changed units a few times, depending on my needs (trying each time to move to a smaller unit as I cleaned out my mess). Recently I was able to travel back to AZ from Michigan to finally get the last of my belongings out of storage and transferred back to MI. During the last several years, Peggy has been very professional and flexible - always trying to help in any way she could and being patient and understanding of my needs, trying to find the best solution at the time. When I cleaned out my unit for good last week, Peggy was there checking up on me, making sure all was well, and giving me and my boyfriend bottles of cold water since it was pretty hot that day and we were there for several hours. Thanks, Peggy, for being patient and not adding any stress to my already stressful personal issues that had to do with my extra junk! I'm so relieved now that I've got that storage unit emptied.
