LIARS! I was promised by 2 separate employees of Dollar Self Storage that I would receive a refund for the unused rent, after I moved out prior to my payment date. After moving out I was then told I would not be receiving a refund. They overcharge for their services and they bait and switch. DO NOT use their facilities. read more

I had a great relationship with this group for awhile... then, I opened my monthly account to find that they had RAISED my rate 8.5% without even contacting me to discuss! UNBELIEVABLE. I have had storage units for decades and have NEVER dealt with this type of sneaky, underhanded price fixing and greedy behavior. It is borderline illegal! DO NOT RENT HERE, these people are NOT trustworthy and most importantly they are NOT HONEST! What is the most important factor when finding a self storage group? TRUST. Debbie and Lynn were both fantastic, kind and on their games! Very clean facilities inside (climate controlled) and out. Handy little carts on site make dropping and picking up stuff items much easier. Pricing was very good in comparison to other local storage facilities. Less hoopla here. Don't feel like you're buying a house. I hope to never have to store belongings again, but if I have to I'll come back here. read more

I had a great experience using this storage place. The ladies at the front desk are very nice and accommodating. Nice, clean facility that feels very secure. Lots of cameras and they constantly are checking the locks on units. Easy to cancel my storage unit when I was moving. My only complaint is that they raised the price $10 during my rental with no real explanation. The professional and accommodating customer service makes up it for it though. My mother recently passed away and we had her things in an interior storage unit. When I arrived last week I noticed water all over the floor. Boxes of pictures, piano music etc were all ruined. I can't replace them. I just received a letter from the Vice President stating since I did not opt in for advanced protection they were not liable for any damages. Furthermore per Sect 21 of the rental agreement I was not eligible for a refund of the August rent. Due to your negligence to maintain your AC unit and flood my unit I'm entitled to exactly nothing. Not once in the letter did you even offer an apology. Shame on you. read more

Just recently used dollar self storage on ocotillo and Arizona ave and wanted to review it. When I first went in the office to check prices the ladies, Lynn and Debbie were so nice and informative that I didn't need to go to another place to compare. I went back the next few days after and rented a locker. The price was hard to beat for only $1 the first month and I knew I only needed it for a couple months. I never could figure out how to pay online but when you called on the phone to pay it connects you right to your account by phone number and it's super easy. The facility is really clean and your stuff feels safe. I would use them again if I stayed in the area! Thanks again ladies! read more

My husband and I used dollar self storage for about 7 months. The storage space was just as expected! Clean, air conditioned and inside access to our unit. The ladies in the office were always helpful and kind to us. When we moved out they even worked with us by not charging the move out fee (totally forgot to give them notice before moving out, pregnancy brain!!!). We found Dollar Self Storage just what we needed. It is convenient to drive through, many size units were available ( including climate controlled), it is kept so clean, the units are tightly sealed, and there is on site security.
