This was the worst rental unit service by far; robbery without a gun. I rented a storage unit on 7/13/24 @ 3300 Austell Rd. Marietta,GA. The property Manager; Jade, provided good customer service at first. Seven months later, her service as Property Manager became confrontational, argumentative, and threatening. I made an initial report, with expectations of due diligence from corporate. Only an apology was given, and retaliation followed shortly thereafter. On 6/17/25, Jade, informed me a minimum of $100 must be made by 5:45p to avoid auction of my possessions. Note: I spoke with Ms. Payton @ the location prior to this. She also informed me arrangements can be made. A balance of $242 was due, and $100 paid on 6/17/5. My unit was auctioned off on 6/18/25. Calls made to Ms. Payton, and Jade after payment went answered, and never returned; conveniently. I spoke with a 'Javir' on 6/21/25, from customer service who sent me on a goose chase @ the Austell Rd. location. I was met by 'Jade' 20 minutes after the scheduled meet, only to be told a call from Ms. Payton will be made on 6/23/25; the call was never made. It's applauding to find corruption in 2025; theft, and cover-ups has become more creative with a lot of businesses in Georgia. The law, as it appears, makes it comfortable for businesses to go against the law. I am seeking answers; businesses as such will never be able to practice where I am from. I'm behooved! RATs, RATS, RATS are a serious problem at this storage facility and of course, no one will tell you that until after they have infested your unit. Now we have to say that Jade (I think she is a manager) was extremely helpful and sympathetic to the fact that we had to toss a mattress (because they chewed threw the plastic mattress cover). Jade has really worked with us to get us moved to another unit and even get us a partial refund. She suggested that we cover the unit in moth balls and rat repellant mint (at our own expense) as well as poison (they provided that). Public Storage really needs to invest in proper pest control. They are in the middle of the forest, two or three trained cats would probably do the trick but if you do not want to deal with rodent drama... just walk away.. or you will be running from the rats (which were physically present when we were moving units). read more

Never getting a unit sight unseen again. The RATS ARE RIDCULOUS. One time I went to my unit and was greeted at the door by a DEAD rat. Everything in my unit is RIDDLED with droppings. I am currently seeking another unit with a different company. Unless you have a car, or garage-worthy items, A GET CLIMATE CONTROLLED UNIT!!!! Then the unmitigated gall to increase the rent to almost $100......I'm good. read more

What can I say... Poorly ran, very dirty, and oh... I loved how I had to basically spray everything of my belongings with large amounts of cleaners and disinfectants due to either rat or mouse droppings. Also love how after paying, I get a text saying "we blocked further storage of your unit due to non-payment". Calling the person "running" this place, you'll maybe get her less than 10% of the time when calling. Also I love how a few things I owned already went into a dumpster (not theres as they say they'll fine you for using it for "any reason") because of above referenced mice/rats. Also apparently the insurance they upsell you for magically "doesn't cover these for various reasons". read more

My husband and I have had 2 storage rentals for the past year and a half ( 1 at 2 different locations). Recently we decided to down size to a smaller unit and upon going into our storage we realized right away that there was rat feces everywhere. A few days prior i mentioned to my husband that i thought that i had seen a rat running along the fence line but didn't really think about it any further until we saw what we saw the other night. Not only is there feces covering all of our belongings, the rats have chewed there way through it. If I could have given this property a 0 I would have but it made me give it 1. I would like to add however that the cashier that waited on us was excellent. She has great customer service skills and is great with people and is fantastic at her job. She is very knowledgeable of Public Storage and if she didn't have an answer for us, she went out of her way to get it resolved even when it was time for her to leave to go home. there is rats everywhere my items are ruined and they still want me to pay fees if I'm late paying it .

This should be closed due to neglect of property care and maintenance. They are highly overpriced and the grounds are not maintained putting it mildly. you can get cleaner options for up to 250 cheaper just by not crossing this facility. I speak from personal experience. There is a serious rodent infestation here and that is no exaggeration . if you want go visit the grounds and pay attention to the outsides of the roll up doors and how filthy they are. Look at the fallen insulation hanging from the inside ceilings and trust and believe they are higher in rates and your items will literally be destroyed with feces from rodents and the lack of maintenance inside the units. If you notice most reputable storage facilities keep their properties cleaner and have metal ceilings and walls surrounding your items. This antiquated facility is filth. Lastly, you will never get return calls or be able to reach anyone period for any issues. This is the last place to ever consider based on value and service hands down. Don't make that mistake. Go visit and you will see for yourself. read more

Do not store your items here! I just recently moved from this location, it is infested with RATS!!!! And the owners will not warn you! Seriously you can here the RATS crawling through the sealing! When you open the doors it smell like straight urine! Please beware of this RAT INFESTION, they will not tell you about it, the manager Krystal is very pleasant to distract the fact that there are indeed RATS at this location. read more

Door latching mechanism fell apart on move-in. Driveway too narrow for larger trucks, Even my full size econoline tended to block anyone in a vehicle the same size or better from getting by. Then from March to July, the rate was increased without notice causing me to pay too little, and getting a late fee tacked on. Very unprofessional. read more

The units are well maintained. The manager is very kind and helpful. The roads are too narrow and difficult to maneuver, especially if you have a large truck. There's no parking, so you have to block the outdoor units and it can get clogged. read more

I recently lost all my furniture due to a rat infestation at 3300 AUSTELL Rd, and the insurance max pay is $250 minus $100 deductible. I was working with the district manager George Vasquez whom stated they were aware of this issue and informed me to have my furniture appraised and to give him a price and he would talk to his boss Jessica Baker. On Friday another employee Clint called me stating George was no longer with the company and per Jessica Baker there was nothing they could do but refer me back to the insurance. My best friend husband is a retired probation officer who has put me in contact with an attorney and if you have also been a victim, please contact me per my attorney request. I couldn't even pay pickngo or 2 men and a truck to move my things due to the infestation but they still expect me to pay for a unit I no longer need.
