Tried it multiple times, but the gate keypad was telling me the number wasn't registered. I tried the kiosk in the office, but the kiosk wasn't working at all. The 'call' button on it was unresponsive. I tried calling the number from the mobile app, but it immediately told me "No routes found" and hung up, like it was an invalid number. Left and went home, got online and looked up another number for them. Called it, and when prompted, I selected the option to "Talk to property manager". It again, immediately went "No routes found" and hung up. I then tried the chat feature on their website. When I told it my gate code wasn't working, the oh-so-helpful script they have running tried telling me how to find the gate code. I already know what the gate code is, and it just isn't working. It's pretty obvious that, despite me PAYING for the storage unit, they never actually activated the gate code in their system. I selected the option in the chat to talk to an agent, this is at 4:30pm Eastern on a Saturday mind you, and their chat responded that Agents are only available from 5am - 6pm Pacific. 4:30pm Eastern = 1:30pm Pacific. Edit: I finally got a hold of an agent on Monday, and he was absolutely terrible! I explained what happened to him, and how I tried the phone number and the chat support, and they weren't working, and he basically called me a liar and said that, since I didn't contact them the day it happened, they wouldn't refund me. Absolutely inexcusable customer service! I will adjust my review slightly, because one of my complaints was noticed by a Public Storage district manager who reached out to me to apologize and offer a full refund. I do appreciate her making the effort to make things right, but they do need to have some serious re-training of their customer service. If you get in a chat with "Jimmy" Jiro G., you may as well just end the chat and retry and hope you get a better rep next time.

My review is for the Uhaul Dealership here…read more I rented a smaller uhaul truck from this location and did the after hours pickup/dropoff. It was the first time I had ever scheduled after hours so was worried how the process would go. In my request, I put in for furniture protection cloths. When I arrived, the process was easier than I thought. I dloaded the Uhaul app, and they had 5 lock boxes near the front door. Through the app, it gave me a code for the key and also a photo of where my uhaul was. Everything was all there! The drop-off process took a little longer (had to take like 8 photos) but the convenience and ease of getting/returning Uhaul was much simpler than I expected. The only complaint I have is that the small uhauls don't have a ramp and I "think" the Uhaul we had contained bed bugs. Please thoroughly clean vehicles after each use.

They do not "open" until 9 so I said ok fine and went to go get some breakfast around the corner. Got back at 8:45 and there are 3 people in front of me checking out trucks. Do not think I will ever be back to this place and I do not recommend anyone else waste their time there either.

Buyer Beware - These Guys are FOS…read more I have been trying to vacate for two months now. Been by my unit 6 times in the past 2 months and have been denied entry starting with a jammed door, where the building was damaged from someone backing into the door frame. Once I was able get staff to open it, I discovered there was a huge, gushing leak in the roof that ruined most of the items of sentimental value in my son's unit. Would you pay for a unit like this that leaks, and has a jammed door. No, you would not. You would be trying to get your stuff out of there ASAP. Yes, you would. This is what the shysters are doing. I am am the executor of my son's estate, and I am disabled. A grieving elderly father, over 70, with a disability. The perfect mark, and they have been taking advantage of me That's how I got the unit which I have been paying monthly on for 1 &1/2 years. The unit leaks like they turned the down spout into it, literally soak his belongings. It also has a broken/jammed door, which they haven't fixed. I keep paying and they keep blocking access due fuckups like the broken jammed door, miscommunication and inflexibility with grace period after they KEPT ME FROM VACATING repeatedly. I am here with truck and trailer again, and they disabled my access code, even though I paid them. Maybe your experience was different. My son chose a small non-climate controlled facility off Gordon Road in Austell, which the estate was paying more than $100/month. Small Units like his are half the price. PHOTOS TO COME.

(Doesn't make any sense? Let's keep going). Evidently there's important fine print in the pick up confirmation email regarding what the mover will and will not do. They will pick up your stuff, but you're expected to disassemble your own bed and wrap all glass and mirrors. I didn't mind paying for these services, but they definitely need to share this information when you book over the phone. I would venture that a good chunk of people have at very least never disassembled a bed. I called them twice to let them know I would need help. Evidently this was confusing each time I told them because they all seemed to forget I told them. Then the day of the pick up came. I went to my old apartment and wrapped the glass I could lift myself. I taped my drawers. All this was done before 9am. The time window I was given was between 9 and 11. By 10:50, they called and told me that it would be 1pm. Then began four hours of back and forth and an utter inability to contact those actually picking up my stuff. They finally arrived at 440. 20 minutes before my service elevator reservation was up. I had to ask for an extension and the building was not happy-they shockingly like to plan for convenience for their inhabitants coming from work. The movers did fine, although they grumbled quite a bit about helping me wrap the things I'd mentioned several times that I would need help with. But the attitude was very, "we have no idea why you're so put out." Um...I get running behind. But 6-8 hours late is bulls*it. The company credited me $25 for my trouble but I have to say, this doesn't begin to cover it. Closetbox then said a customer service rep would be contacting me to address my complaints. Evidently someone called and failed to leave a msg. I think they're scared of me, but all I've done is express dissatisfaction and I think I should be credited for a month for the awful service + extreme delay.
