Do not go here! Worst customer service I've ever received in my life! I'm 8 months pregnant & upon moving out of my storage unit, my husband left behind 3 empty cardboard boxes across from our unit as they wouldn't fit in either cars (they were taped up & wouldn't break down) & I couldn't find a dumpster (my unit was right by the gate & I had never gone round to the back to know that that's where it was & the few times I went, the grounds were under construction & there was always a dumpster by my unit along with piles of rubbish). What was a simple misunderstanding that could've resulted in a easy fix has turned into a complete nightmare for my family. The next day I received harassing voicemails from Stephanie whom I've always received attitude from during the length of my rent there. I called to apologize & explain why my husband had left rubbish behind & it immediately turned into an argument of whether or not there was even a dumpster there in the first place?! She swore up & down there wasn't (keep in mind she's only worked there for a year & I've stored there for 2+) & called me a liar! I was honestly in shock she was so rude & unprofessional I was dumbfounded & to make matters worse she hung up on me & when I tried to call her back she screened all my calls! How unprofessional is that?! After leaving a voicemail saying I was going to call corporate & report her, she immediately called back & was super apologetic saying it was a "misunderstanding". I apologized in return & told her I would come back to pick up the boxes & she told me not to worry about it that she would handle it. After 5 hours of receiving my move out receipt, I got an email saying that I was being charged $75 for her having to pick up my "trash" (3 EMPTY cardboard boxes)! I was flabbergasted someone could be so spiteful & deceitful and trick me into thinking it was okay & then turn around & charge me more than two months rent of storage for not picking it up! I was left in tears. The worst part about it all is it's been nearly a month now and I haven't been able to get it resolved with anyone, Stephanie ignores everyone of my calls & sends me straight to voicemail. I've had my husband call & leave voicemails, my brother, even my dad which is ridiculous I have to even go through such lengths to call on different numbers to get ahold of her bc she knows mine & ignores it straight away. Nothing resolved, no phone calls returned. I've spoke to customer service more than 20 times & each time they only give me the numbers to the regional and district manager, Fred to which we called multiple times & left voicemails and to whom JUST NOW, today, after 3 weeks I have finally received a call back from & I don't think I've ever spoke to anyone more unbothered & uninterested. He didn't care for the story or details of what happened just would take long pauses of silence as if not listening to anything I was saying just to respond with "sorry but that is our policy" as if nothing I said made any difference & he didn't care one bit to be speaking with me or care about my overall satisfaction as a customer, he also said he could've charged me up to $500 (absurd) so made it seem like he did me a favor & I should be grateful he only charged me $75! I even asked if he could retrieve the recording of the conversation I had w/ Stephanie so he could listen to how appalling it was & how she blatantly told me that she'd pick them up & I would NOT be charged & he pretty much made it seem like it would be impossible to find the recording (like he's not even going to try) & if he did find it it wouldn't make a difference either way bc he would side with his employee over his customers anyway. Again left in tears. After a month of trying to explain myself over 3 boxes, all the phone calls & unnecessary stress & emotions, this pregnant mama has lost her fight. I literally have no more energy to try to keep calling anyone just to get treated like absolute dirt by people who claim to be "professionals". But rest assured karma will always prevail so I will take peace in that. read more
