Place was robbed 5/9/25. I had paid movers to move a washer and dryer and found my locker was broken into. I found out on memorial day. Left voicemail for District manager and have heard nothing for several days. Was moving the washer and dryer into a house for a tenant and had to pay for a new washer and dryer. Wouldn't have offered a washer and dryer I didn't have, had I known I was robbed. I have lost some sentimental things from brothers passing as well. More than half my stuff is gone and I can't get anyone on the phone. A month later and nothing. We have called the DIstrict Manager multiple times since we have been robbed and have not heard from him, but he calls his employees back very quickly when I am in the office. I am so incredibly disappointed by my time renting a unit at Public Storage this past year. According to them there is a "tenant" that is storing some sort of dried fish that is causing a horrid scent throughout the first floor of the indoor units. All of my belongings (even the items boxed up are ruined because of the smell). My items will require tons of fumigation/deodorization if they have any chance of being recoverable. Additional to that, I was given two price increases within only 8 months of having the unit. I have complained to corporate, submitted insurance claims (through them that were denied) for assistance in this manner. I have yet to receive a call back from anyone able to help or grant me some sort of resolution. I'm beyond devastated that I have clothes, furniture and family heirlooms that may never be recovered. I have held off from posting about them online and leaving a negative review, but this is my last plea for help here. I will happily delete this review when I am contacted by the necessary people to resolve this issue. read more

Two weeks prior I had reserved and paid for a parking spot at my local Public Storage location. I was driving a 45yr old car that's on its last leg and my mood was shot. After a stressful drive that only "Uncle Buck" could truly understand I made it to the storage gate. It was the wrong gate so I backed up my hooptie, shut it off and prayed it would start again. Thats when I met Sam behind the counter that made sure my gate code was good, took me to my parking spot, and assured me that every thing would be ok. I love the Public Storage family. Unfortunately this place has given me a bad experience. The regional manager named Veronica is really rude. Our locks were changed without notice and when we went to go see what happened we got yelled at because we asked if we could use our personal lock. I recorded how we were treated. I spoke with the district manager because I was getting screamed at. She threw the phone at me to speak with him. I even told the regional manager to calm down and she started waving her finger at me. I'm really surprised on how they treat customers here. I wouldn't recommend storing here. We can't even get to our storage because the district manager told me that I was going to hear back in 24 hours on 2/1/2021. but it's been 4 days and I haven't heard back. I've called and left a voicemail but nothing. We need our money back and our stuff back. read more

First time I rented from them they were good. This time...they are not good. After 3 months rent went up. After 8 months they said they needed to do repairs and gave me 2 weeks to move my stuff. I was directed here by another Public Storage facility in Sugarland. Unfprtunately they did not have a/c units so the front desk girl at the other location asked me a lot of questions about what kind of unit I would like and what I would be storing. She was very friendly and helpful and even found me a unit with a $1 move in deal for the SW freeway location. When I got to this location I had already had a long day with getting things packed up, trying to find a good storage place so obviously was needing a break. The manager of this property did everything in her power to make it a as easy of a move as possible. This facility has limited access hours but on the other hand is very secure so I don't mind the hours as long as I know my things will be taken care of. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a storage unit! Make sure to check online and sometimes you can get a $1 move in like me!! I would give customer service 5 stars :) read more

When I arrived Liberty was beyond helpful, she made sure that the space was the right size and that I would not be over paying for space that I didn't need. I must say this is one of the best storage experiences I have had. Shamika and Erin is a dream team. These ladies know their stuff and always filled with kindness. They were so helpful from the beginning of my move until now. I am currently still using the storage and truly grateful to see them when I come in. Although I gave 5 stars for the two ladies mentioned, I must include I came in one day and another lady not sure of the name was there. I went to get a cart because my belongings was too large to carry. I literally waited 20 mins for her to make it back to office, but this is not the compliant. After she made it back down the elevator she carried on cleaning the bottom floor without even acknowledging my presence. I waiited 10 more minutes then she came out and walked right past me. I had to exit the slide door and go to the locked front door just to wait 5 more minutes. I was not pleased that day only. Overall, I am satisfied with my service here! They go up on your rent all the time!! They also won't post your automatic payment from your bank on time and then charge you a late fee. This has happened to me twice in last few months. Payment out of my bank account on 9-3-21, but on 9-8-21, we couldn't get into unit due to "non-payment". They made my husband pay fee and late fee before he could access unit. When he got home, I showed him bank receipt for payment on 9-3-21 and he went back to the storage office and they gave him credit, but still didn't show original payment and told him we couldn't get access AGAIN until it was all verified. Of course, credit card wouldn't get refunded for 2-3 business days, even though he'd just paid today!. THEY ARE WORTHLESS AND TRY TO GOUGE YOU ALL THE TIME! We've rented different units for over 10 years now, and this problem has just started happening. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! I thought this would be a good deal with a reliable brand, but I was dead wrong. Sure, they're super friendly when you move in, but it quickly went downhill. First of all, they make you pay $20 for one of their locks, plus admin fees, plus their storage insurance, so it's not as cheap as you'd expect. They also raised my rate by $20 after 6 months. Then, a couple of weeks ago, they called saying that their ac unit was leaking water into my unit and to come check out what has been damaged. When I called back an hour later, she said that still no repair people have come to fix the leak, nor could she could not tell me when they were expected. When I arrived 5 hours later, the two very young employees came with me to my unit where I immediately saw the stream of water leading into my unit. They told me that it was still not fixed because a part was needed. Also said that they "turned down" the AC although it was still running. No barriers or towels were put down to restrict the flow of water going into my unit. While I was there, they laid down paper towels and made a half hearted attempt to find a wet vac. The district manager Brian eventually returned their calls regarding my question as to who is going to pay for me to move my things so I can see the extent of the damage / move to a different unit and he relayed to them that "The most we can do is let you move into another unit at the same price". Unsure if he is referring to my old rate or the recently raised rate. I was astounded by how grossly negligent this site was with this leak, and how little the manager cared about my problem, refusing even to speak to me. I'm also unsure how "allowing" me to switch units is doing me any kind of favor. I noticed that they claim no liability due to negligence in their fine print, so maybe that's why. I'm moving my things out ASAP and will never use Public Storage again. You get what you pay for it seems. read more

I searched online for a place near to where I plan to move soon. I got a reduced monthly rate online, which they honored at this location and also gave me the $1 first month offer! Dominique said she had only worked there 3 months, but she was obviously well-trained and made the whole process extremely streamlined. I like the unit -- it was very clean and climate controlled. The $1 first months rent is not accurate. For one, you are charged admin fees, and then charged $20 for a "required lock", only sold at public storage, plus insurance which is between 11-15/month. This place does not have 24 access, you literally have to be out of the property by 9PM or the doors will close you in, and you will have to call customer service to let you out. I spent about $60 on the first month. When I was signing all of my paper work, the young lady at the front desk was talking about her personal business with the lady that was helping me, which is kind of inappropriate. I was not greeted properly, and the price definitely took me by surprise. read more

I was told it would take up to two days to get someone out to cut the lock. Apparently only a unicorn has the authority. Will need to get creative to retrieve my things before my flight. We have used Public Storage facilities in various states for more than 10 years and find them to be the most reliable, clean, efficient and staffed with trained personnel. For us, it's a very reliable brand. Our most recent experience was no different. The renting process was simple, the space was perfect for our needs and the cost competitive. This location is very secure, requiring your pin code to get onto the property and then again to access the elevator. That can be a bit of a pain when uploading a lot of items. The elevator is very large, but there's no way to secure the door open, so you'll need to have someone hold it, or put a large item to hold it. And then it "beeps" constantly. Other than that small issue, this is an excellent location with a well-trained staff. We recommend it highly. read more

I wasted hours trying to get a unit. My whole life is turned upside down by Hurricane Harvey and they rent me an occupied unit. The transfer unit then gets snatched up by someone online. The only replacement available is smaller and has a post running directly in the middle of the unit. Wasted time. Rent somewhere else. Furious!!!!!!!!! read more

the staff there are very good, Pam, Randy, Justin, Cyan, Ashunte and are very pleasant. The facility and property is clean. The downsides to this business is that the code boxes are too far from the car when you pull up to the gate to get in or out. I have to get out of the car and walk a couple of feet to reach it so don't know who installed the boxes but you should have them come back and place them in an accessible space or get your money back. The other fallback is that when you are inside the building there is no way to call for help if there is an emergency, ie a phone to the office or security cameras. I say this because I entered the building to access our storage unit and there was a sketchy couple of guys unloading a truck and coming up the elevator behind me. Couldn't get a signal on my cell and ended up leaving before I could finish putting away my things. read more

I have been with Public Storage from the state of Minnesota to now Houston Texas. This location is very neat and tidy too. A young lady by the name of Cyan was very helpful, patient and kind with me. She took her time answered my questions very courteously.. I look forward to being there a long time. I've had my unit at this location for roughly two years and rarely had a problem til now. My unit was broken into by someone using wire cutters to get in through the wire mesh that serves as a 'ceiling' for my unit. The initial employee I spoke with was nonchalant about the situation. The supervisor told me to come back the next day and the unit would be repaired and secured. I come back and it will now have to wait for tomorrow. In the mean time the items that were not stolen sit in a unit with easy access for would be thieves. This place is great unless something bad happens. read more
