Probably the best customer service experience I've ever had. Christina was absolutely professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt. She recommended everything I forgot, gave common-sense advice regarding both moving and storage (which I'm embarrassed to say I didn't think of), answered all of my questions with the sure language of someone who knows what they're doing, and gave me a free box - for those important things you really don't want to put in a storage unit. I rented a 10x20 space for one month, and while check-in required a good amount of paperwork which consumed some time, she didn't waste any. I just checked out less than 15 minutes ago, and it took more time riding the golf cart to my unit than it did to check out. She even remembered my unit number simply from seeing me (!), I would not hesitate to recommend this location to my closest friends and family. Absolutely extraordinary experience. read more

At this moment this location was lacking extra service they don't have any extra workers there and at the moment I planned on made a reserve storage to come through to check it out to get all the details in the time frame but nobody was there at all because they went out on break in the current time and however they did it they're lacking customer service at the Northwest freeway addresses 14050 Northwest freeway right in the inister the freeway when I arrived on the time they asked me to no one was at the office and then when I filled the application out without realizing what I put in no one at that location was even responsible to just make a note it was just a blank crevice and saying that when they would be back they have no responsibilities to let anybody who shows up to reserve their spot or check the location This location lacks customer service big time and when I move in I'm just worried because they don't have anything responsibility because whoever's the managers she's a bad manager and he's a new manager and more co-workers to run the location to be on the floor to be at the locations whenever they need to be on the site however I'm explaining it how I see it dating recognize cuz I showed him I tell him I'm going to be there and no I showed up no it was there and I pissed off This location Don't book this until you confirm it completely because I'm lacking services read more

First place in a while I've seen that closes early at 6pm that kinda sucked as I usually prefer to unload things during night hours. I've been to many across the states that close at 9 pm. Wasn't too busy at all which is a plus and made moving in during day less stressful. Other than that Staff is friendly and helpful. when my access code wasn't working they were Swift to fix it and have me out in seconds. I took them up on the $1 first month and was surprised the price of a unit is cheaper here than other places. read more

I recommend this location very highly. The manager, Christina, is easy to work with, very bright and takes extraordinary care of her customers. She's done it for me. This location on Hwy 290 is extremely clean, neat and very well maintained. Drive-up spaces are very accessible. Locks are integrated into the doors, not external where they might be cut. I have rented spaces occasionally from Public Storage over several years. This location is the best I've found. It's on NW Freeway, mid-way between Beltway 8 and 610, For me, very accessible. I live in Galleria. FYI, I took some time to write this very positive review to reward their upbeat, helpful staff. At many storage locations the staff is basically bored and "mailing it in." I have been a customer here for almost five years. This facility is very convenient to me with good access. I have had some problems with rodents over this time, but they do have rat traps outside the units so they are trying. My biggest complaint is because the access hours have been reduced to 6 am to 6 pm. It doesn't allow me to work late at all if needed with risking loss of equipment. I would prefer earlier access hours, but the 6 pm is a deal-breaker for me. It is very difficult for me to put in a full day of work and return to put equipment in storage by 6pm. On top of that they have increased their rates on my unit by 33% in 2 1/2 years. read more

Besides the fact my storage unit had been broken into and burglarized which the property manager or any other PS staff could not have prevented since their requests for more lighting and upgrading the out-dated,overrated so called surveillance system(analog)of half ass misdirected cameras bread tie wired atop rows of pitch black storage units due to shorted out breakers and located in less than strategic vantage points have all been virtually ignored and never addressed by their corporate office. From day one the property manager Christina Cruz has been awesome with a great attitude & professional work ethic. All of the staff there are courteous,dilligent,& respectful. Shame on PS corporate for not having their employees and customers best interest at heart. read more

OK.. First off.. The lady is really sweet and very helpful.. The actual place however, no.. Never again will I ever use this location. I went to take out my things and they have been there for awhile, but as I opened the unit.... Horror. There was rat poop and pee everywhere, roaches by the "I don't even know how many"..Spiders and spider webs were all over every single item in there.. They say they use pest control.. Yeah right.. There was poop in there from an animal much larger than a rat. I was glad I wrapped my mattresses but the frames.. Left them.. I don't want to risk bed bugs. Use caution when using this place. read more

I am so frustrated with businesses these days - they all have a false advertisement and by the time you finish the final transaction ended up paying more than I want to pay. I found this location on yelp since it's close to me and it has advertisement saying $1 for the first month but they only have the storage that cost $99 and more. For the one i picked which is 5 x 10 for $70 they have special half off but they don't tell you other hidden fees until you get there. They make you purchase a specific key only you could get it from them for $20 and they didn't tell me admin fee that's all new for me just like apartment $25 and they try to intimidate you to get insurance. It's crazy - I hate sales people and I hate doing business in this kind of environment. They all trying empty your pocket every chance they get. I was frustrated but the lady who have helped me was very calm feel sorry for her - she probably have to deal with people like me every minute. Everything is getting hard these days and this will be the last time I will rent storage, i think the stuff I am storing is not even worth what i have spent so much. read more
