I had pictures and measurements. She never said thank you for your business or have a good day. Never again. I will be contacting the owner to fix the ceiling of my car.

My piano was damaged during the move but Peanut was quick to write up a damage claim and talk me through the process. Between our move date in February and now, I've reached out weekly with very minimal response. I finally had someone make contact with me about a month ago to say that my concerns were being passed along to the "claims department" and I've never received any follow up. So beware this company for anything that does not go according to plan, because I suspect you will not get any follow up from anyone.

What I loved was that their price was in the middle of all the ones that I called, but most importantly came with twice as many workers & they did not charge for packing up the boxes I did not get to! As of February 2026, H-town movers provided 4 movers for $155/hr , with a $120 one time fee that covered the truck & travel. That is all i was charged! (They have a minimum of 2 hrs, but anything after that, they only charge at 15 minute intervals). I provided the boxes, tape, and paper-- you can get their packaging packet, but I found all of my stuff cheaper & they used the kitchen towels, wash rags etc that i left out for them also! However, they do provide unlimited plastic wrap & moving blankets to wrap up all furniture. They were very careful packing up all my fragile items (large dresser mirrors, China plates, mugs etc). I was very relieved with their detail to that . They were extremely efficient (did not purposely "dilly dally" to rack up hours) and had a great attitude the entire time! I could hear them singing or telling jokes to each other, which helped relieve a little bit of my stress by creating such a pleasant atmosphere. They were also extremely kind with our toddler running around. I did not have to micromanage them at all. The only thing I did have to remind now and then was if a certain section was going in storage or to our new moving location. They did not charge for making 2 stops. At the first stop, they would ask where we wanted the box or furniture item, and they happily brought it to whichever location. They do not charge for stairs, which is nice. They were also extremely efficient in packing up the storage unit where we had a ton of space left over! i would highly recommend this company & their movers and I would definitely use them in the future! Having more hands on board at a very reasonable price helped get everything done in one day and in a shorter time span than I had anticipated!

I emailed her the PDF and she printed the label size 8x10 and advised they would probably have issues scanning the label since it's so big. Instead of reprinting the label to the correct size she stuffed the cashmere sweater into an overnight document envelope and taped the label on the front. I had reservations and should have taken the return and left but decided to save a trip and let them mail it instead. I went to pay with my debit card and she said since I didn't have cash to just leave and bring her some next time. She never offered me a receipt and I didn't think to ask for one. To keep in good faith I returned 2 hours later with cash. She charged me $2.39 to print a single page; I told her to keep the change. She didn't offer a receipt and told me the package had already been picked up. Days later and USPS has no record of the package. I went back in to ask about it and she chastised me for not having a receipt. She checked her records and she had not scanned the package so there is no record or proof it went out. No resolution.

I do not recommend Graceful Movers…read more This was by far the longest and most frustrating move I've ever experienced. I came fully prepared. Everything was already packed and most items were disassembled, with the exception of one bed and an entertainment center. All belongings were staged in one easily accessible area, ready to be loaded. My new home is only 11 minutes away, yet it took a team of three movers over 5 hours, nearly 6, to complete the move. To put that into perspective, I've used movers before with fewer people and a much longer drive of about 45 minutes, and they still completed the entire move in under 3 hours. There was nothing efficient or "graceful" about this experience. The excessive amount of time it took is completely unacceptable, especially given how prepared everything was. To make matters worse, I still have to reassemble my furniture myself. At the pace they were moving, I can only imagine how much longer it would have taken if they had done it. Overall, I feel taken advantage of and would not use or recommend this company.
