The hours (for our safety) are only during office hours 9-6 m-f 9-5 Sat & Sunday. If you work a 9-5 job like most people do, plan to take a day off work to get to the storage in time before they close so you can access your personal belongings. I want to show potential customers just what kind of service you can get from this company. I have a unit that I've had for two months. on today, 12/19/22 I go to my unit and see there's a lock on it from the front office. To shorten the story, I figured out my stuff wasn't in the unit assigned. The employee said she done an audit and didn't catch that which questions to me....how did you do a successful audit. She then says that I have to move my stuff out immediately and I told her that I have to catch a plan and won't be back until 12/24/22. She tells me then I will be billed for two storages for my time there. So for clarity I asked her if she was really going to charge me for two storages....for my duration....without a warning to move my stuff and that's because her failed audit then catch this so I'll pay for her incompetence to do her job? So, instead of being charged for one unit which is what I'm occupying. I'm being charged for three months for two storages....keep in mind the second storage is unoccupied and so they aren't losing money. They're just going to charge me because they can. Let's see what your corporate and the better business bureau think about this matter....to be continued. read more

Pros: Great rates and friendly staff. The facility is new and clean. Cons: only open from 9:30-6:00, which is ridiculous. Most people work during this time and they should open until 9 or 10 like other locations. Also, a very large facility with only one loading area. Poorly designed for entry/exit. read more

The process was mostly great until I showed up with two large moving trucks ready to be off loaded in to 3 units we had rented, but could not get access through the gates. There had a been a mechanical issue that was discovered at 9:30 AM and not repaired until almost 2 PM. I had 6 movers and two trucks waiting outside the gate for almost 2 hours at $300/hr. Called the regional manager, left a message, no return call. read more

A nice facility, but access hours are 9:30AM - 6PM, and the elevator has been broken for 3 months. There are only two push carts for the facility that houses easily 1000 units. On-site employee was quite friendly and did warn me that there are only two carts, with no intention to provide more at anytime. Regardless, 1 simply based on value add services for customers. read more

They close super early. Once the office is closed, the GATE is closed and you do not have access. Their times on the review are misleading because on the weekends they close at 5:00 PM before it's even near dark. The price is very good. The facility is very well kept. cons; only one entrance. They have 2 gates and at no time, corporate nor the office, does it get mention. Using the right gate needs to be ID d as not the shortest way to the only entrance. (2) not enough hand carts. Several renters have told me that coming Saturday and Sunday is a very long wait for carts. (3) No one called me, as promised, prior to my move in date. So the day before I called them. They told me the incorrect time that they open. (3) Restricted access. They do not open until 9:30. The office will tell you 9 as they did me. Basically a nice place. Communication from the local staff needs to improve. Since they operate very differently than other storage places. I would think yhat when someone calls in and says, tomorrow is my move in date, they would furnish all the information. I had to pry to get answers. I hope they read this as it is meant as constructive criticism. They would get 4 if they would communicate. Not 5 because of the hours read more

I got this storage unit because of the price. Low price and large space. However upon arriving, I realized that their hours are only 9am-6pm. That's practically everyones "normal" work schedule, so it's hard to find time to make it before or after work because they are closed. Also upon arriving, i noticed that they only have 1 entrance for guest to load things, and you have to type your code in every time you walk out and every time you want to use the elevator, which gets frustrating when your moving stuff because it's hot, your sweaty, and keep having to type in the code. Wish they had longer hours so customers could access their belongings more often than just 9-6. Other than that, clean space, quiet, and they offer carts (3) to use for loading and unloading. read more

First of all, the hours are terrible. You would think on weekends the hours would be open early and close late but no you have to wait till almost 10:00am to get access to your storage unit and you get kicked out at 5:00 when the building closes at 6:00pm . Second, the elevator does not work most of the time.... and it's only 1 and my unit was in the 3rd floor so that's a complete hassle. Thirdly, Too many bugs crawling everywhere just overall never renting at this location again. read more

They seriously need some more dollies (only 3 for the entire place). And the hours aren't super convenient. But the two women working there yesterday were fantastic. We found ourselves in a bind when our movers didn't show up, and we had to throw everything into the storage unit ourselves and were in need of another unit nearby right away. I am absolutely livid right now. Not only did I confirm my date to vacate with their corporate office, but I spoke to the location's manager as well to verify that my balance was to be cleared as they had charged me for the month following my move out date. Seeing as how I was paid in full up to October 31st and specified that that was my move out date, there should have been NO charges for November. We left the unit completely cleared out, swept and cleaned ON OCTOBER 31ST!!! Not only did the morons that work at this facility not close my account, they sent it to collection! I DON'T OWE YOUR GARBAGE COMPANY ANYTHING! AND NOW YOU'RE MESSING WITH MY CREDIT! I will NEVER use this company again. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and just over all decency. They never had any carts to use to haul things, their staff is rude and entitled, and now...this?! What is the point of scheduling a move out date if you're just going to ignore it and charge me for services I'm not even using?? Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere! They don't even open until 9:30 in the morning and they close at 6:00 pm during the week and 5:00 pm on weekends. There is frequently only 1 working elevator usually crowded with people and either 1 or zero carts to haul any items with...it's a serious waste of your time and you should save yourself the stress and frustration of being locked out of your unit once they automatically shut the elevators down at closing time. read more

I rented a 5'x10' unit and after about 6 months it flooded. I was called and notified to come and inspect my contents and when I arrived I was told everyone was being required to vacate (even though our unit had no damage). We were only being allowed on the property during office hours and office hours were not extended any to accommodate people having to vacate . Normally gate hours are 6am to 9pm. Office hours are 9:30-6 on weekdays and till 5 on Saturday and Sunday. So basically, they have reduced the access hours 55% and expected everyone to be able to vacate within a 2 weekend timeframe. Also they told us there was a5 man crew that would be assisting us in throwing away trash and loading but I never saw anyone assisting anybody. My husband works every day till at least 5 and gets home around 15 minutes later. We live about 30 minutes from the unit. This is a major inconvenience. Public Storage should have the decency to extend its office hours to accommodate its customers that it is forcing to move. read more

After making the decision to take it and check in the next day, Katina, with her impeccable timing, give me a courtesy call just a I was two minutes away to confirm. Horrible customer service!!! I signed up online for a 10x20 for $94 per month. I was not shown the unit prior to moving in. The day of my move, when my movers opened the unit, we discovered that it was not a 10x20 but a 10x15. I went to the office to complain but was told that there were no 10x20 units available. Well since I was paying my movers by the hour, I had no choice but to use the unit that was assigned to me. So I called in the next day to inquire about a reduced rate since I hadn't gotten what I requested and Juanita told me that she would contact her manager and would get back with me. After several days of hearing nothing, I called her back to find out what was happening and she informed me that she hadn't heard back from her manager yet. So she gave me his number. I called Mr. Omideyi and after he insulted me by asking me how did I know I was in a 10x15 and not a 10x20 he agreed to reduce the rate to $70. But the very next month, my bill was back at $94. I had to call him again. Several time I tried to call him, but his phone didn't have a voicemail so I couldn't leave a message. By the time I was able to reach him, he basically insinuated that it was my fault that we hadn't spoken because he had not received a message from me by phone or email (I never had his email address). After arguing with me for some time, he finally removed the late fee and gave me the $70 rate. I tried to find a way to speak to his manager, but public storage does not have a true customer service line and no way to reach out with complaints if you need to go over the local manager's head. I called a number and spoke with someone named R.M. Clark who claimed to be Mr. Omideyi's boss. I told him the situation and explained how I had been treated. He apologized and said he would look into the matter. I sent him my original order confirmation email from public storage stating that I requested a 10x20 at $94 per month. After looking into the matter, he told me that the good news was that I was being charged the correct amount for a 10x15 unit. But I told him that I didn't care what his rates were at the time we spoke because at the time I booked the unit, that was the rate for the 10x20 which I did not receive. Needless to say, he did absolutely nothing to help me so I had to pay $94 for the unit the next month. I have been completely dissatisfied with Public Storage from the very first day and am currently paying movers again to move me out of there and into their competitors storage. They could have fixed this problem so easily that I think it is ridiculous how little concern they showed. They clearly only have their best interest at heart. Oh, and I forgot to mention that when I went to get something out of my unit, there were roaches everywhere from another unit. I also complained about that and was assured that they would take care of it. I hope I don't have an infestation issue when I move out of there. STAY AWAY FROM PUBLIC STORAGE!!! read more
