After hours number doesn't work if you're stuck behind the second gate. called 3 different numbers that route to the same call flow. Stupid BOT call does not have options for lock in. No emergency or safety latch to get out. Called to rent a space, finally had a human answer and send my to customer service just to have no answer after 30 mins on the line. Called non emergency police line and apparently they don't have a way to open it. Thankfully the other car was able to find a PS property that was open and have them open it before the police were involved. Fix this.

Save yourself the pain (of both a broken heart and a broken back) of dealing with the crap I've had to because I chose this awful place. ZERO stars I'm not sure if the security here is NONEXISTENT or just USELESS (or maybe they're in on it ...). My unit was broken into (along with about 5 other units in the same little hallway) in late August 2025. I received ONE single call (which I missed) and only when I went in to check my unit 9 days later did I find out it was burglarized. They didn't try to reach me more than once. There was no email or message in the app. Nothing. Almost nothing was taken from my unit. However, everything inside was absolutely TRASHED. So many things broken, boxes torn open and dumped everywhere, even a metal filing cabinet was basically squished because they walked on top of all of my belongings. About 1.5 weeks later (the soonest it could get done due to work schedules), my boyfriend, my mom and I spent several hours on both Saturday and Sunday putting everything back together, re-boxing things, and making everything ready to be moved out of that awful place. FIVE DAYS LATER, before I could move out of there, MY UNIT WAS BURGLARIZED AGAIN. Once again, everything was trashed and broken. Very little was taken, although this time they managed to take something of immense sentimental value. Truly heartbreaking.

Not only was I screamed at by one of the staff members (who clearly gets off on power-tripping), but they also locked me out of my fully paid unit with no notice whatsoever. I showed up to move my belongings and found the code had been changed. No call, no email--just locked out of my own property. Let's be clear: I paid for that unit. I don't care if all I had in there was a cotton ball--it was mine. And someone else was given access or it was reassigned without my permission. Completely unethical. Access is granted at random times, nothing is consistent, and it's definitely not what's advertised. This person picks and chooses who gets in and when. It's unprofessional, sketchy, and flat-out disrespectful. And the fact that U-Haul as a franchise allows smucks like this to represent their brand? Honestly pathetic. It's a terrible look and bad for business. I will never rent a U-Haul truck or storage unit again. I'd rather lick a doorknob at a COVID motel than give this company another dime. Save yourself the headache. Go anywhere else

She was able to secure an even better unit for us side by side our other unit. Her attitude was professional and quick. When I went…read moreto my unit, there were spiders inside and on my belongings, which is completely unacceptable for the price. I feel disgusted even thinking about it. One manager told me they sprayed and the issue was handled, but when I called another manager later, they told me they've "never had spider issues." So which one is it? Because I definitely saw them. The fact that management isn't even on the same page is frustrating and unprofessional. Now I'm looking at possibly throwing away my baby's clothes because I don't feel comfortable using them after this. I shouldn't have to pay full price for a unit that's not even clean or properly treated for pests. I only paid this month because I didn't want late fees, but I honestly didn't want to continue storing anything here after what I saw. I hope they take this seriously and improve their pest control and communication, because customers should not have to deal with this.
