It started from the top down, Jose was amazing on the phone as I was calling for a last second scramble for space. Nicole stepped in the next day to finalize my space and did everything online. The 3rd day I came to load up my space and realized I needed another 10 x 25 and Francisco and Jose made it happen...and even got me within 2 doors from my original unit/space. I was paying $190 for my rental unit but received a rate change increase to $291. I called the previous day before my last $190 payment. I was told they wouldn't know for sure until the last payment went through so I waited. When I received a call back it was confirmed that my payment increased but would give it to me for $240 including insurance. They said if I had prepaid before the last payment went through I would have been able to stick to my $190. If I had known that the previous day when I called I would have done so but they decided to wait until I couldn't prepay for it. And I just checked my account and I'm being charged $251 instead of the $240 I was promised on the phone. This is terrible. read more

Jose, your attention to detail, sense of urgency, kindness and for everything you do to keep everything in check. Jose is the example by which customer service should be based. This place was really professional. I went to other storage places and they didn't seem to have. Much of an urgency unlike extra storage space. They immediately helped me get situated with my needs and showed me around the spaces and gave me the breakdown with ease of all the details. Awful business! They reel you in with claims of low prices, once you are in, they raise the rent! I have been renting from them for over 5 years. They raised my rent from $99 to $103 and this was within a couple of years. I paid $103 for almost 2 years, until it got raised again!! Now I'm paying $114. And why? It's not like the place has any upgrade or my rental space got any bigger, or it got remodeled. It's called corporate greed!!, read more

Prices were a little on the higher end (but that seems to be common with most things nowadays) but overall I had a great experience!! Carina was very helpful and attentive. As soon as I arrived she took me on the site to view the sizes of the units to make sure I got the perfect size. She was transparent with the specials in store and online and answered any questions I had that day. So, I've have had a storage unit with Extra Space Storage for about a year now. The customer service is great. The staff on sight are very friendly & helpful. The facility itself is very clean. There are lights inside the actual units! I love this, (it would be so dark without the light.) I have moved to 3 different storage units within the facility. They we're very accommodating.As, for security...The place is safe. I have NEVER had a problem or felt unsafe. This place is a gem. Definitely choose this storage co. Over all the rest. read more

Great experience and the assortment manager was very patient in answering my questions.

Assistant manager was the one that helped me when i visited. She's very nice & helpful. The place is also nice & clean. I just dont like that the keypad is located on the other side. So if u are alone u have to get out of the car to punch in ur code, same way upon going out.... And the first time i was there to put some stuff on my unit, i got caught up with time. I didn't notice the time bcoz i was arranging the stuff inside so it will fit. They close at 10pm & i was at the gate at 10:03 but my access got denied then i had a hard time calling the number posted then they had me wait for 45minutes to get out of the premises. So i just sat in my car while waiting. I know its my fault to not know the time but i mean they should have a grace period so if anything like this happens again. read more
