I have been a customer of Nova Storage in Mission Hills for years and have always received superlative customer service first from Felicia Thomas the manager and then from Renee Gonzalez. They have graciously gone above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate me when I was going through a hard time and needed an extension on my rent. When Renee took over for Felicia who went on maternity leave, I was worried I might not receive the same level of excellent service, but Renee is a true pro; kind and personable. Both of these woman are a credit to Nova Storage and I can't recommend them enough to take care of your storage needs. Unfortunately on a recent visit to the facility, I met the new manager Jennifer and her little dog, neither of whom were especially warm of welcoming. The storage lot is a cramped dirt lot. The spaces are narrow and the commercial tenants don't condone themselves to their space. For a cramped dirt lot, the rent is out of line and the charge 10% tax on top of that! read more

My mom went in on Saturday to inquire about a storage the lady didn't even want to communicate in Spanish. I'm sorry, but my mom doesn't speak English your employees need to know Spanish. I was not there to interpret, but telling her to come another day to speak to a Spanish male is not acceptable. After she came home upset we both went together to another storage down the street. I very like to use this company, I park my trucks there for almost a year, that's always very professional service and perfect location, very close to 3 freeways, they have gated property and security cameras and security guy! Horrible I've been using this storage about a year and I'm about to cancel cuz it's horrible the hours aren't accurate my husband and I went this Saturday (8/10/19) to drop off some stuff we got there at 3:30 and it was close the schedule says they were supposed to close at 5 on Saturday so I was kinda upset cuz we work a lot and it was the only time we had go then I see a sign that say they were closing early cuz the employees wanted to enjoy with their families the "Dodgers game " I'm sorry but that's it's not my problem a Dodgers game Isn't a Holiday i understand when there's a holiday but for a game to me it's ridiculous they have a business we're your customers the ones helping your business to run I had others bad experience here too and I think if your gonna be closing early send a text or an email like when you do when the Payment it's close you guys send emails and text days before the due day let your customers know your planning to close cuz you want to enjoy your game i don't have time to go check if there's any signs. I'm never got an email with any of this information I get emails about my payment getting close that's about it read more

Exceeded my expectations and simplifies my life! Felicia Thomas, Senior Property Manager is an asset to The Company and her tenants. She handled my entire lease process seamlessly. Honestly I was nervous about placing my families items (our memories) in storage. However NOVA Storage was recommended by my movers 'Valley Star Moving' and I'm very grateful I listened. The grounds are immaculate with the hallways accessible and fresh smelling. The unit I rented is HUGE (yes I know how to calculate square footage) but it still seems gigantic every time I see it. The website is easy to navigate and you can pay your rent online. You will need to bring a light bc there isn't one hanging in the unit. Frankly I believe it's to discourage people from moving in, it's cleaner than most apartments I've seen. I personally feel safe and comfortable grabbing a box or dropping off some seasonal items . Nova Storage in Mission Hills is a great place to store belongings to be kept there. The staff is tremendously helpful and will strive to meet your needs. I inquired about a unit in Mid March , and received 9 calls per week until April 1 to remind me that units were available and would remain available for the low, introductory price of $23 per month for the modest 5 x 5 I needed. The helpful office person helped me choose an upstairs unit closer to the elevator (about 60 feet) which would cost $5 more than a further off unit which would cost only $18. I would caution prospective renters to be certain to obtain the correct space for their needs, as the doors are not stay-able, and the corridors have very tight corners. Also take note that the introductory rate is discounted from the normal monthly rate, which will accrue in all subsequent months. You must physically notify the office when vacating the unit, and gate hours are the same as office hours. read more
