Since I am a driver, and I mostly drive the Set Dressing department(High Paid Movers)(Ask Scott E),…read morewe do a lot of moving and packing up sets. Since we do this so frequently, it stands to reason, that we are always going through 2 wheel and 4 wheel dolly's, packing supplies, such as tape, boxes, tape guns, and even bubble wrap or shrink wrap. Where else would we think of going but New Haven Moving Equipment? I am going to say, that customer service is always top notch. Unfortunately, we didn't get the nice lady's name that helped us, but she was incredibly insightful, in helping us choose which 2 dolly's we were buying. She also suggested that we get the bigger wheels, that won't go flat. After you get your order paid for, you walk on the dock where it seems like all the guys are willing to come over and help you, no matter how busy they are. While we waited, maybe all of 10 minutes for them to change or put on the tires, on the new dolly, Larry, the president of the company came over and introduced himself. I thought that was very classy. He thanked us for our business and gave us his business card and told us if there is anything we are ever looking for that they don't have, he will get it for us. Great guy, and a great place. All 3 people we dealt with on this visit made this stop, that much more enjoyable. It doesn't matter if you are moving your home, a room, or just packing up things for storage, go to New Haven for your supplies. Sure, sometimes the prices are a little higher than others, but I would rather pay a little more for something I know is going to last a very long time, rather than pay next to nothing for something I have to replace within a few days. They have huge bulk items, or smaller quantities available, but whatever you need, they probably have it. Give them a try next time you are moving, I'm sure you will love them as much as we do. Awesome supplies, awesome customer service, and a HUGE selection. What else could you ask for from a vendor?

We have strong suspicions that they stole a handful of our belongings including 3 very expensive and authentic baseball jerseys, Stanley cups, and several pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses. We are still uncovering what else they might have stolen while unpacking. We have had to move several times with the military and we have never experienced our belongings being stolen

Worst moving experience ever!! I had a contract with American Moving Company they subcontracted…read morethese guys? Now the people who came were nice and professional and did do a good job? But they took less than 1/2 what I originally had in the contract because I took a load myself? Then they still wanted more $ and said they didn't have room? That was not a big deal because I was hauling a trailer myself that still had room.. Now here is where the problems really started is the day before the delivery day they said it will be an extra $700 for a convenience fee that they can not deliver with a semi to my address? I live in the country in Tennessee with a private road where I'm the only house ? Not like I live in the city or an apartment? The horse shippers had no problem delivering in their Semi? The guy down the street has his own semi and trailer? It was just an excuse to extort more $$!! So when I called them out on it that's when they got rude! Then I got rude back! And they are refusing to deliver my stuff? There is zero customer service!! So then I looked on FB and was horrified by all the negative reviews!! Do not use them!! Pay more and use a real company like Allied!! I went with them to save $$ but they do that so you sign! And once you sign you are screwed! And the original nice guy who came to my house said that they could not put any more in the truck because they had to get somebody else's stuff that was moving to Tennessee also and that's the same truck that was going? And if they did move it to a semi? They had no permission to do so!! And if they had the address in the beginning? Who would they add $700 later? It should have been in the contract!!

They did ask to receive a video of everything heavy that will be put in the truck. I definitely recommend that you include every single item in the video, because even with the biggest truck that they had, we still had overflow. For reference, we are a family of four, with two little kids in a three bedroom / two bathroom house. The price point was pretty reasonable and they were flexible, given the fact that they are located in Los Angeles, and we wanted them to come up to the Bay Area to help us move down to the Los Angeles area. They called us the day before to confirm all the details. When we realized that the truck was over the weight limit, Yana quickly called us to give us a couple of options. We opted for another truck to meet the first truck, to distribute the weight. It was an extra cost, but reasonable, considering the issue at hand. These guys were efficient and quick. We apparently have a ton of stuff lol. They originally mentioned that it would take 3 to 4 hours to move everything into the truck, but in reality, it took approximately 5-6 hours. They were punctual and even got there five minutes before the agreed-upon time. I wasn't there when they brought in everything, but my husband said that they did an amazing job at putting the boxes where they were supposed to be, based on our labeled boxes. They reassembled everything, no problem. I called 5 to 6 moving companies, and we are happy that we decided to go with this company, given the communication, efficiency, and price point.
