    We have chosen to vacate after almost a year of renting a unit here for a multitude of reasons…read more First off they lure you in with promotional pricing and almost double that cost a few months down the line with little warning. When we asked staff about it they claimed the "market rate" had increased and that it is coming down from their corporate office. Office hours are odd and inconsistent and it is very hard to get ahold of someone in person or over the phone. When you do get a hold of staff, they are largely helpful and friendly, however it is not an easy task to speak with a "property manager" and when you call you're often routed to a call center many states away. Overall not the best, not the worst but it is no longer a cost effective or sensible option for us anymore.

    Beware of predatory business practices by Public Storage!…read more Sadly, after having a storage space here for many years, which was purchased by Public Storage during that time... upon vacating my space, I became aware of the unfortunate predatory practices of Public Storage. I specifically called the property manager, which is pretty much no longer on site due to Public Storage's digital first ecosystem now... to ensure that I was scheduling my move out properly on the first of the month, which is the day that rent is due, and always showing a charge on statements of the second of the month. After moving out the morning of the first of the month, as scheduled 30 days in advance, I was notified that they would still be charging me for an entire month because I used my key code on the first of the month. Zero sensibility or customer service on the phone when sharing the entire chain of events. Simply saying they would be sending me to collections if I didn't pay the full amount. No concessions due to the factual account of events, or acceptance of my offer to pay a prorated single day on the month. This displays clear predatory and unfair business practices by Public Storage. I highly suggest choosing another storage company. Additionally, all of the auto generated emails had errors in them, showing the day that I scheduled the move out as the move out date... not the actual date that I had scheduled 30 days in advance. Clearly, Public Storage is going to a technology driven model that removes the ability to talk to a real person who will be honest and helpful. But the system is flawed and devoid of customer service.
