Public Storage was recommended to me by a friend who recently moved. Finding myself in the same situation in the next month, I took her recommendation. First tip: go online and secure the price of the unit. It's typically lower than in person. Once you register (you don't pay until you check-in in person) someone will call you confirming when you'll be in to get your unit. Tip two: find your own lock that's appropriate for the unit. They'll charge you $25 for their lock (which you get to keep) but ask a friend or buy your own for cheaper. The units of course come in various shapes and sizes and they slightly try to up-sell you into a bigger unit if you bought the small one like I did, however, one simple no was all it took to stop the associate. The units are climate controlled. You need a gate code after certain hours and an access code to get into the building. Cameras everywhere so if unfortunately something happens, they'll be able to find out who did it. There was an insurance I was forced to sign up for which I'm not truly sure I needed which was for $15 a month it guaranteed me up to $5,000 of insurance. I didn't bite too hard against it because I'm keeping this unit for such a short amount of time. But maybe ask more questions than I did if you're not up for the fee. Other than that, there are no real hidden charges or fees. They go over the price of the unit going forward after all deposits and such are made. And so far so good. The unit was just what I needed to make my move as easy as possible, if moving can ever be busy that is!

To big to care...shouldn't be such a monopoly by big insensitive corp. For me, to have access before business hours is very important and most places offer that. I get here at 8:15 and there's no carts...for me no carts, no access. I have 2 units here...guess they don't need me. I'm looking for space to go back to the other guy's...or maybe a smaller property that doesn't usually have early access.

Proof no one is ever here

Every time I come here there's never anyone in the office today I rent a truck and to move into a bigger unit and they put a note on the window saying no one is here today why kind of business is this the biggest joke not only they're expensive but there's no security to

I do not usually write negative reviews because I don't want to affect someone's livelihood, however, the situation has become so bad that I feel I have no other choice. The problems started a few years ago when my unit was broken into. The lock had been replaced, my belongings were damaged and shockingly, someone had urinated on my items. When I reported this, management showed no concern - no apology, no assistance, and no offer of compensation. They wouldn't even remove the unauthorized lock for me and when I was trying to dispose of the items that had been damaged due to someone urinating on them, they gave me a hard time about throwing them out in the trash cans out front. Since then, things have only been going downhill. Initially, I chose this storage facility because of the security and condition of the property; the main area had been secured by roller doors, which could not be accessed without a code. After the roller doors opened, there was then a gate in place. The building was clean and in good condition, which is not the case now. The roller doors have been inoperable for at least three years, and the gates have been inoperable for at least a year - creating an unsecured facility where people can come and go at will. The lack of roller doors also allows pigeons to roost in the rafters. This has resulted in excessive droppings and feathers throughout the property including on the carts that are used to move belongings to and from your car, creating unsanitary conditions that you inevitably bring into your vehicle and home. It is disgusting. I raised these concerns in writing, but nothing was addressed. The office staff appeared indifferent, responding with rehearsed dismissive answers rather than showing any genuine effort to help or even basic empathy. When I advised them that I was going to close all of my units, there was no attempt to retain my business or address any of these issues which speaks volumes about how they value customers. Additionally, although this facility is in disarray, they continue to raise prices. The rent on the last unit I rented increased after three months. Overall, this has been a deeply frustrating and unacceptable experience. Based on my experience, I strongly caution others beore choosing this facil

Hi, I recently inquired about rent prices and spoke with a…read moregirl at the desk who was extremely rude, unprofessional, and gave me false information about the pricing. Later, when I called customer service, I received the correct details and was able to sign in over the phone. Since I did not sign in with her directly, I feel she has been acting hostile toward me ever since. Every time I come to the unit, she tries to create problems. For example, yesterday after work I stopped by to pick up some clothes. My T-shirt was dirty, so I quickly changed inside the unit, not realizing that this was not allowed. Instead of addressing me directly and professionally, she started screaming loudly across the floor, saying "No, no, you can't change here!" while I was on the phone. She then pointed at me and said, "You, you, you--I will terminate your contract!" This was unnecessary and very disrespectful. I want to make it clear that I have no issue following the rules. If she had spoken to me politely, I would have respected and complied immediately. However, the way she shouted and attempted to embarrass me in public was unacceptable. From the first day, her behavior has been unprofessional--she lied about prices, constantly talks on her phone with AirPods in, and looks at me in a hostile way. I do not know why she has a personal issue with me, as I have always remained calm and respectful, but her conduct makes me uncomfortable to even come to the unit. I kindly ask that this matter be addressed. Staff members should treat clients with professionalism and respect, not hostility. Please speak with her or take appropriate action, because the way she has behaved is not acceptable for a place of business.
