Does your items usually be auctioned after 3 days of the notice of auction?? I received my late storage bill at Dec 8 11 am and was told at 5:30 pm that my items were auctioned at 9:30 am that same day. After serval attempts of calling leaving messages to let the manager know that I will be in by the end of the week to pay my bill. I was called December 6 at 3:09 pm the phone rang 2x before they ended the call I promptly returned the call at 3:10pm no answer no return call. I have email and call log to show. The office was closed earlier than 6 pm. My deceased parents belongings was in the unit. I had been experiencing hardships as a result of health concerns. I've falling behind 2x before and always paid all the fees. My items were sold on the alleged 68 day of the past due amount. I was told that my items will before after the 68 days of non payment. I normally will be too proud to even write a review or even respond to to these types of things as a result of my inability to which was irresponsible on my part. But to lose my items the exact day I showed up to pay is heart wrenching for me. Because of my parents things that was in the storage. Like my mom one and only bedroom set that she ever received. She worked hard for that and was proud. The lack of professionalism that this office displays is quite unfortunate. Maybe my calls we're at the wrong time or the one phone call I received on December 6 was enough. Or the email I received at 6:48 regarding my items being threatened to be auctioned but was already gone gone is quite bazaar. The fact that I was able to open the gate at 5:40pm after the office was "closed" and no one was there is also bazaar. Shouldn't there have been a lock on the gate. I don't know but it seems this storage facility is being ran by new employees or employees who is just there to collect a check. I have copies of the emails and calls time stamped (screenshots) I can't sleep at the idea of my family portraits children's pictures special cups and small pillows that belong to my mom being thrown away. I'm devastated behind this and can't sleep. Yes the payment was made

It shot up to $224 (51%) from May to this April 2022 when it shot up another 33% to $300+. In effect in one year, it more than doubled: $148 to $300 = +$152 or 103%!!!! I have been a customer for more than 8 years and have had 2 Units at one point. The rates were reasonable, Management was very helpful. Location was great! Highway robbery you say? I think that this business is almost completely immune to inflation (brick and mortar) so why the ripoff. Demand & Supply? well OK - but don't rob us blind! Be extra careful - once you're in, and hooked, at an online rate, they'll raise your rates without notification, indiscriminately to whatever they see fit... I'm out of there... how about you?

Our unit, not even close to the offending unit, was first covered in feces as the animals roamed the whole building. Then, when Extra Space got it together and took drastic action there were/are dead rats all over the building. I need to mention that everything written so far was not learned from Extra Space notifying us of the problem and how they were going to solve. No, we received NOTHING from Extra Space. No email or phone call that there was a problem. No notification when they treated the building, what chemicals were used, cautions. Nothing. When we moved our belongings out of storage last fall 2023, we didn't know what to expect. As soon as we opened the unit one of my hired moving guys pointed into the unit and said, "there's a dead rat". This was the start of finding four more dead rats in and around our belongings. We trashed about a third of what was stored in the unit due to the extent the infestation had. This was just our unit! The others, many, have to be similarly affected and contaminated. I requested three months refund to help cover our loss. Nothing. To date Extra Space corporate has not communicated in any way. Their response throughout the entire time from discovery of the issue to eradication of the animals to treating their customers like, well, customers who pay for the services Extra Space offers is nonexistent. It's either incompetence, cowardice or both.

I think they're the ones who should be paying me for what they did. I paid for the insurance and they won't pay me for it And the owner is just a coward won't even reach out to me. They know my number. Thank you for destroying everything on mine. I would recommend never using CubeSmart. 3345 Medlock Bridge Rd. Peachtree corners 30092. I even have a temperature controlled unit employee quit and left all the doors open and left all the heat and air off. I showed up no one was there and I had to call another store. They did nothing. And of course I gave them a good review when I showed up the first time when moving in to the storage unit three months later when the manager quit and left everything open and all the bugs came in yeah that's when I had a problem and it destroyed everything I owned! They have no respect for their customers and the owner had the audacity to say I gave them a five star when I first got there of course I gave him a five star because he gave us the first month for free and then the manager quit and left the doors open and turned off the air conditioner in the heat and left everything open And damaged all my property

She is always helpful and available when there is a question or issue. And the facility is well taken care of. Better than other chains that no longer have a person assigned to manage the site. Other storage companies are no longer having a 'person' on site, and they have gone downhill fast. We are very glad CubeSmart has Ms Angela. She has been right on top of things. And when I had my hands literally full, she immediately rushed to my aid. You don't see that kind of customer service anywhere anymore. CubeSmart is blessed to have had Ms McCoy there manning the facility for years. Very satisfied as a customer.

If you're looking for a business you can trust to protect your belongings, please look elsewhere…read more My sister had almost $50,000 worth of damage done of her stored items because of Cubesmart's negligence and failure to fix a damaged roof. A large portion of her belongings in the unit were damaged by water and are covered in mildew and black mold. Cubesmart has still not notified other renters about the water entry through the roof, nor have they confirmed with my sister whether they will do an official inspection and fix the roof. Despite having paid for two insurance plans, one being a plan offered via Cubesmart (the plan is with 3rd party provider) and the other through a separate personal property insurer, my sister only received a $2,000 check from Cubesmart's insurance provider. Her separate plan won't provide any coverage because the damage is seen as being preventable (by Cubesmart). My sister has spent the better half of the last year and a half in the hospital with her daughter fighting for her life, and bringing any kind of mold near her would be life-threatening (she has progressive lung disease). Replacing the items isn't an option on top of the massive hospital bills associated with her care. And guess whose responsibility it is to remove, sort, and dispose of the damaged and dangerous items. That's right, the renter. You'd think having two insurance policies covering your storage unit would be enough, but Cubesmart seems to only be interested in protecting themselves. And then there's the sentimental value of the damaged possessions, which obviously can't be quantified. If you care about the items being stored, find a business you can trust to store your things in a truly "climate controlled" environment. Cubesmart, your company has not seemed interested in making this right, and we are not fooled by virtue signaling in the Google/ Yelp replies.

Called and complained and finally had some one call me to correct the issue. Again I was given the same price as the first time, Move in and monthly, I doubled verified what they were telling me and guess what, back to the original wrong price when I went to sign up. "Oh yeah, well I guess that's the price then." Wasted a LOT of time. Had I gotten an apology of any kind I might have still gone forward with it. Not one person I talked to apologized. And no I didn't miss understand anyone.
