Dont rent a space here. I use public storage in multiple locations for my business and has always had someone help me if I ran into any problems. However in this location the lady I believe her name is Pam made my experience super complicated. Did not want to help unless o went in person so I went to a local public storage to provide my license and 2weeks later I still can't get in touch with anyone to access the storage unit. I had to rent another space due to complications and still haven't gotten a call back or anything to cancel my reservation. I have been charged and have no choice to visit the location before I get charged again. Ming you I live almost 2 hrs away. Awful service and I have never experienced this with any public storage. read more

RUN FROM THIS PROPERTY! My unit had a water leakage as well as the District management being completely unreasonable by requiring me to pay after vacating days from the beginning of the month. You can never get anyone on the phone and no one truly values customer service at this particular property. Save yourself the headache. read more

My storage experience here has been adequate. Nothing special. The low rating is because I've been a customer here for almost 3 years, paying my fee online and on time every month. I started out paying around $70/ month and every year they increase the rate. I am now up to $150/month for a space they are offering to new customers for $65. This is just plain bad business. If you decide to engage with this company, I'd ask up front about increases in price. Not cool public storage...not cool. read more

Do not rent a space here. The door to my unit was covered in black mold. I reported it to property management, and they told me that in order to remediate it, my unit would have to be empty. I had to take two days to completely move units. They refused to issue me a statement credit for the trouble AND I was refused a prorated refund for the rest of the month -- so now I'm paying for an empty unit with black mold. I rented space at a different public storage location and their customer service has been great, so I think it's just this location. read more

I've had a storage unit with this company since 2019, and I have watched a transformation ( with employees & service) throughout my entire experience. And I must say, Ms. Kiaran has been an exceptional representative. From the very start, she's always gone above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met, and that I felt taken care of. Her customer service is top-notce! Empathizing with me through my hardships ( actually getting on the phone with higher management) to help me, checking in periodically, and assisting me during my move-out process. Kiaran is always professional, kind, and genuinely interested in making sure everything goes smoothly. the location is good. The customer service not so much. I couldn't get a call back when I made my reservation so that I could lock the unit that day. I called and spoke to someone who told me to buy a lock at Home Depot. Then the next day I get a call back telling me the lock was inside the unit the whole time. She never apologized for not calling me back or the wrong information I was given. read more

This is the worst storage unit I have ever been too. You can call all day and no one is going to answer the phone I was there at 915am before they opened and was there waiting till after 10am and no one ever opened the office. Terrible customer service thanking my stuff out ASAP. read more

I reserved a unit online and was given a total move-in cost at that time. I was extremely unhappy to arrive to actually rent my unit and find that there were additional, undisclosed costs--insurance ($11 per month+) and buying a lock for the unit ($19.99, and you have to buy THEIR special round lock--but oh, you can take it with you when you leave!). Had a 26-foot moving truck full of belongings not been 5 minutes away from arrival I would have left due to this bait-and-switch. All costs should be clearly detailed at the time of reservation, whether online, on the phone, or in person. In addition, customers should be aware that their homeowners or renters insurance covers their belongings in the rental unit and they do not have to purchase insurance at Public Storage. We didn't know this at the time and the employee who handled our paperwork didn't ask whether we already had insurance that would cover our belongings. I'm sure they make plenty of money off of people just by conveniently neglecting to offer any alternatives to purchasing the insurance Public Storage offers. On the plus side, the storage facility seems secure. The hours for access are convenient. read more

I liked this place when I first signed up, I got the first month for $1, and the rent was fair given the average in the area. But after a year and a half I finally had enough of their games and had to move out. Not only had they raised the rent four times during the time I rented, in significant amounts ($8-14 a month), the 'prorating' they do if you decide to move out early is only good for the first two days of the month. I was trying to get moved out and it didn't look like I was going to make it by the 1st, they said I could pay a prorated amount into the next month, but that rate went to the full amount on the 3rd. So, one day was $4.xx, two days was $8.xx, but the third day in the rent was the full $114, even if I moved out on that day. Upon move out I found that every other storage place nearby now had cheaper prices. I guess that's their hook, they get you in at a low cost, then jack up the rent after you're moved in and can't do anything about it, so you're forced to pay more and more every month. I would urge everyone to read the fine print and inquire about rental hikes before even thinking of this place. Plus, the gate was broken numerous times, meaning anyone could hit the 0 button and go right in. Not very secure. read more

September 26th I went into the office at 5:40pm. The representative on duty would not help because she said and I quote "I have to be out of here at 6pm" IT WAS 5:40PM!! Horrible customer service and her excuse was terrible. The only thing I wanted to do was view the unit which would have taken her 5 minutes and proving to me getting out at 6 is more important than her job itself. I came back the next day around the same time and finally got someone by the name of Eva who knows how to treat people. This is the only reason I gave them stars. Word to management, you all need to get rid of the rep from 9/26/2016 at 540pm. I ONLY came back because this location was convenient. read more

Had a really good experience with this Public Storage. Eve was very helpful and upfront, helping us decide the right size storage for our things. Moving from California to Georgia, it made us feel better working with someone knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.
