We had called 5 different companies all were insanely expensive even for just labor, finally found Budget Moving Services, spoke to the owner, Nicholas about 2 nights before we loaded up everything from the crates in the warehouse. They arrived 20min early, Nicholas and his team of movers (Sam and Phil) showed up ready to work, were hardworking from start to finish, wrapped all our furniture, packed and stacked it perfectly to optimize every cubic foot in the truck(s) -- they ended up filling up 2 u-haul moving trucks, what I thought would take 8hrs or more only took them 5 and a half hours! They were organized, quick and showed safety during their work ethic on top of being very affordable and in my humble opinion very high-quality. Felt good to support the smaller family-owned movers vs the bigger moving companies! They were 1/2 the price, the service was fully personalized and there were no hidden fees or anything that was no mentioned or talked about. Support your local small moving services if you're near Lawrenceville, metro-Atlanta or anywhere in North Georgia! My first experience was a small apartment move in Lawrenceville where I needed apartment movers last-minute and they showed up within an hour with all the equipment ready to work (the previous movers cancelled and i had to be out of that apartment at 4pm) and they were finished at the first apartment, and had loaded all my furniture into the moving truck by 2:30pm. The second time was for a house move, during which I utilized their packing and unpacking services for the entire kitchen. The third time was for my office, where they provided commercial moving services at half the price of other quotes. Each time, the team was punctual, courteous, and careful with my belongings. They always provide moving quotes with no hidden fees, and I have never paid a cent more than what was quoted. They also assisted my neighbor with loading and unloading moving pods in Suwanee. I have recommended them to friends in Buford, Snellville, and Peachtree Corners. If you search for the cheapest moving company in Gwinnett County, you will find them, but don't let the "budget" name deceive you - the quality is outstanding!! Went to the front desk to ask a few questions and buy some boxes and the woman up front had terrible customer service. She was kinda rude and made me feel like I was bothering her or something? You can tell she doesn't like her job. Skip a few months later, I'm moving out, finally, so I call to ask some questions and I knew it was her that answered the phone because I recognized her voice and her tone. It's been a long time since I've used a storage unit, so maybe this is normal? Their site quoted me a web special of $47 a month for a 5'x10' unit, plus a $24 one-time admin fee. No biggie on the admin fee, it was disclosed on the site and the employee called and confirmed it with me. But when I got there, I was also required to purchase their insurance which was a minimum of $16.50 more per month. So now I'm at $63.50 a month - not such a great deal anymore! Then I also had to buy their lock for $18. I only need the space for a couple of months, so I'll suck it up, but wish I had known the big picture when comparing with other companies.

Michael was honest and told me he was not sure since the size vary a little. He said it would be best to come to the facility and see if it fits. So I did... Michael took me to a couple units before "he" found one that would work the best. We the car fit with a few inches to spare. We went back to the office to talk ad there was no pressure sales... just when did I think I'd want to rent. I was going to wait a couple weeks, but signed up that day.
