Excellent U-Haul service here if you need a truck for a move. I didn't even know they operated out…read moreof here, but I found them and booked online through U-Haul's website. I had to change my reservation multiple times before pickup and the site made it easy and there is no penalty for doing so. There are only a few trucks at this location compared to the Jimmy Carter one by Dunkin, but I feel like the customer service is better here based off reviews I've read about the latter. The ladies at this store were very helpful and sweet. I came back during my move to get bungee cords also which were a big help getting my mattress up stairs under a low hanging ceiling. They ran out of furniture dollies which I had previously requested but still had the regular ones available to use, so they just removed the item from my reservation. The truck I had seemed old as the driver side door seal was coming a little loose and took a few tries to close but no major issues. It stayed closed during my drive and move, and the 15 ft. truck was just right for my purposes. I would recommend this location if you need a small to medium size truck for work or a move.

I come by the following day a young lady sitting on a stool on her cell phone - I explained I spoke to a gentleman and he advised I could turn off the auto feature. I was unwilling to do. I want them to work how they are intended to. Her attitude was immediately rude . I luckily had a coworker on the phone to witness the exchange. She said he wasn't here and she can tell me right now he's not going to want to return bc he's gone for his child. I asked she call him. She stated what's the point bc she knows he's not coming back. I told her please call him. She calls and paints an untrue narrative. She finally rudely shouts his number. I contact him and essentially his level of service was equivalent to hers. I left the AirPods at the store and will be disputing the charges. The worst service one could receive. The associate below takes the time to google me and place a review on my place of employment with my full name . I will contacting an attorney- she has single handily placed this business owner now in a position of liability for harassment and defamation. I had an honest experience with this business and if this is a practice that is utilized to bully a patron into submission I will ensure this is handled legally. They give you an option to provide blankets & tie downs which we declined. We declined the minimal cost and wrapped our items up beforehand. Despite paying for packing and protection services and providing moving blankets, our furniture and appliances were never properly wrapped. The crew repeatedly ignored instructions, packed the trailer incorrectly, and had to be constantly directed throughout the move. Some of the issues we experienced included: * Failure to properly secure the load until we insisted. * Boxes loaded before furniture, wasting valuable trailer space. * Storage totes opened and contents dumped into the trailer. * Damage to our refrigerator during removal from the house. * A dresser dropped down the stairs. * A broken leg on an antique cedar chest. * Inadequate equipment for the job. * Unprofessional behavior, including intimidation rather than customer service. The poor performance was so significant that the crew had to return the next day to continue the move, nearly doubling our costs and extending an already stressful process. Moving is stressful enough without having to supervise the crew, worry about damage to your belongings, and pay more because the job wasn't done correctly the first time. We're sharing this experience in hopes that the company will take responsibility and explain how they intend to make this right. We have documented damages and are seeking a fair resolution.
