They just sent my daughter a protection plan that she has never seen saying that if items are stolen they're not responsible for it!

The employees are nice…read more But the design of this place makes no sense. Getting stuff in and out of the building is a nightmare. You have a slanted sidewalk the width of a pedestrian one around the building that the push carts are just as wide as (at least two have broken handles that lift out of the carts at surprising times) with a several inch curb. I've had carts roll off the sidewalk several times with stuff spilling into the parking lot. The rest of the parking lot is slanted also, so that's created some fun situations. Then you have to turn that cart into an automatic door that's one door wide (less than 4 foot) no matter what you're carrying. All of the entries are like this. But when you come in, they push google reviews and buy them by offering you a free lock for a five star review. Interesting. I originally fell for that, but this location is logistically annoying. What's the deal with the bathroom? Unless the office is open, it's locked and it's locked whenever an employee isn't in the office during business hours. Why don't you guys install a keypad for it so customers can use it when needed? I come to my units multiple times and have to keep everything in them pinpoint organized- why can't I pee when I need to?

Long story short I went past my "grace period by 1 day" and when I went to office to pay in person I showed rep my attempts to pay online and phone call record to try and get a 1 time credit of late fees ($77.00 so not a small amount) I have been making payments of $367/mo and you would think they would want to keep my business but I was told that "they don't ever credit a late fee" I called Adam at District to question this and guess what...NEVER even received a return call. Stay away from this company.. I am moving out as soon as I can get some help loading it up

When I got married 20 years ago, I rented a storage facility for $100 a month. Over 18 years, the…read morerate went up to $120. And then Public Storage bought the facility in May of 2023. My rate went up about every 6 months. In May 2025, it went to $304. I moved out. But that isn't the nasty part...on their website, they are renting my unit for $117 a month. When I asked why they were charging me $304, I was told if I had complained, they might have lowered my rent. **If I complained!!** Otherwise, I guess it is ok to price-gouge. I have called the home office, and they refuse to compromise in any way. They also said they have the right to increase my rent. My advice: don't use Public Storage. If you already use them, complain every month so you don't get over-charged, and move out ASAP. Just a note: the onsite manager is nice, but of course, has no power or authority to help you in any way.
