Initially, I received a quote that seemed reasonable and paid a $99.00 booking fee via credit card to confirm my appointment. Upon completion of the job, I was informed that if I chose to pay by credit card, a processing fee of $32.00 would apply--information that was not communicated beforehand. Additionally, I was charged for various materials and equipment used during the move, including tape ($10.00), picture slides ($4.00), speed-pack ($40.00), shrink wrap ($25.00), and a mattress cover ($12.00). The only extra fee I was aware of prior to the move was the mattress bag charge. In total, these miscellaneous fees amounted to $111.00 (not including the mattress bag), none of which had been discussed during my initial consultation. While I appreciated the effort of the movers themselves, whom I tipped (cash) generously, I feel the lack of transparency regarding the final costs was misleading and disappointing. To add insult to injury, I called College Hunks immediately after my move was complete and paid in full. As of today, I haven't received as much as an apology or callback.

They got the truck loaded like a Tetris game in 5 hours. The guys are polite, introduce themselves, shake your hand, and give the kids high fives on they way out. They had a new guy on the crew, probably 1st job, and the owner Arturo and the experienced guy gave him tips and seemed to be a great leader / teacher for the job. A+, 100% recommend!

Truck was too small and they didn't have enough people to work job, so ended first day with first load on truck, had a different job next day, so on third day emptied first load, then went back for second load. Back Savers showed up with so many movers I almost lost count. 6 or 7 of the most clean cut, uniform wearing gentleman. They got to work right away helping me finish wrapping up odds and ends. I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done. Yes, it's true that stuff should be picked up at the curb, but when I find I have an abundance of cardboard boxes or the like, it is easier to drop them off at the bins outside Caraustar than to "hope" Gwinnett County's trash service is in the mood to pick them up (or leave them in the driveway, they are quite persnickety about empty cardboard boxes ... god forbid empty boxes might push their limit over the edge or something, of course we know there is going to be stellar--- cough, cough---recycling pick-up "coming soon" courtesy of the new "City" of peachtree corners (cough, hack!). In the meantime, it's no problem to swing by Caraustar during their daytime hours and drop off a bunch of boxes for recycling.

I have used Sunrise many times over the years. I believe this last time made it # 4. I am a stay at home mom with 5 children under 5, and with my husband being at work most of the time I was so stressed about packing, moving, keeping the kids out of the way; etc. I voiced these concerns to Charlene, and Savannah the first time I moved with them, and again to Jessica in my more recent moves. Especially about the kids so they would be prepared once they came out. They assured me that everything would be fine, explained to me all the services they offered (and I must say at a very reasonable price compared to others) I was so relieved. They communicated with me through the whole process. From the time I contacted them for an estimate through to the very last item being unloaded and papers being signed. Which why I have continuously used them through the years, and will continue to use them in any future moves. What I was used to being a very stressful time even when I only had one child they made very carefree for me. I recommend them to anyone who asks. I have had multiple family and friends use them. I was happy to have been referred to Sunrise Moving and Storage by a web-based Moving Company Locator. I was very-well pleased to have selected Sunrise from the options provided, as they were prompt in arriving, used the utmost care in assisting me with packing and labeling my belongings, and their charges were well within my budget (moving is expensive and they understand). Eli and Charlene have been diligent in working with me on my monthly storage fees during the stretch of time that I was unemployed, as well as allowing me the time that I needed to get my finances in order. For me, that was a blessing, and I can rest assured in knowing that BIG corporations, such as U-Haul, etc., would not have extended such graciousness to any customer. My husband and I used Sunrise Moving & Storage twice this past summer and both times we were very impressed with the service. We first had to move all of our things into a local storage unit until our house was finished being built. Three men came out to move furniture only, they disassembled and wrapped everything accordingly. They fit our furniture like a puzzle into the storage unit and we were happy with the result. When it came time for us to move into our house, my husband and I requested the same team to help us. This time they moved everything we owned from the storage unit to the new house. They were safe and aware of not hitting walls, they took direction well when getting the furniture to each room. I was very impressed with how quickly they assembled the beds and my daughter's crib. They made our move stress-free and we were very appreciative of that! The cost of each move was very reasonable as well. I recommend this company without a doubt! read more

From the beginning in meeting with Charlene, we felt that we were getting good advice. We compared several companies prior to selecting Sunrise. The move date was fluid right up to the end and they worked with us every step of the way; keeping in touch, but not pestering us. The moving crew was quite pleasant and certainly were diligent workers. The guys really were just spectacular. We had 2 moderate sized trucks that they loaded, then stored for 2 days until we were ready to move in to the new place. They showed up exactly as planned and were able to unload in record time, yet, in doing so put the boxes and furniture where we requested, even if that changed a bit once it was in the house. It had been 21 years since the last move, so I do not expect to move again soon, but if we were to, I would choose Sunrise again. read more

I have had Sunrise move me twice now and I found it to be the best experience. I have some very precious antiques and paintings and the movers were so considerate with them both moves. One piece was even broken before the move by my father and a piece of molding was left in the truck. Sunrise kept it, not knowing who it belonged to, when I called they actually delivered it to my door. Thank you, I can not say how great I think they are. I would just like to thank Sunrise making what was already such a stressful day so much less than what it could have been. Moving period is stressful, but even more so when you have children 6,5,5,3,18 months. They were on time were so nice and funny talking with the kids explaining what they were doing. They did such a good job it was nice not to have micro manage them as well as my kids. They even asked and put everything right where I told them to so all i had to do was unpack and put away. Which is a lot better than on top of that having to try to move furnture around etc. read more

Sunrise Movers moved our furniture. A terrible experience for us; nearly every piece of furniture was damaged in some way (nicks, scratches, gouges). Their movers did not cover leather sofa with cloth; used plastic instead which led to more scratches. They tried to physically remove hutch from desk using screwdrivers, which caused permanent damage. (Desk now sits in basement, with gouge in side of wood.) On positive side, sales agent did get revised contract on day of move to include additional piece of furniture. And their bid was the lowest of five bids; now I know why. read more

This company exceeded my expectations! The whole experience from the quote to setting up the last piece of furniture was professional and efficient. The crew was motivated to finish on time and expertly packed up the truck to get it all on one load. The pre-moving professional tips saved us; you could tell that they have been serving in this industry for a long time. The driver called me to let me know when to expect them and then they were even a little early. The team of Patrick, James and Charles were cheerful and efficient for the load and unload. They did a great job of securely wrapping all the furniture and breakables we had. I appreciate that they came in the apartment to review everything that was moving and again at the new place to confirm the layout and where our belongings would go. This was our first experience hiring a moving company. We had always moved ourselves. Chelsea made our move an enjoyable experience with constant communication and honest evaluation of costs. Sunrise Movers did a GREAT job! We had a 80 mile move to our new home. Movers showed up on time and really worked hard from start to finish. They wrapped all furniture in moving blankets and plastic to prevent any damage. We had several large and heavy items to move. Eli was the supervisor and did a great job. The items were placed in their correct areas and everything came in their condition it was before the move (so far, that I've seen). The movers were very friendly and had great communication. My husband did help with some items because he's particular about things but he didn't mind. I'd also like to note for everyone to remember that movers are still people and not machines. They deserve respect and care as well. I asked them if they wanted food (primarily my husband) and he offered to them as well and they took a break (off the clock) and then they were done shortly after that. I want to share my dreadful experience with CCE Express, a moving company owned by Tony, with…read morepotential customers. In my opinion, this company is dishonest and unprofessional, which made my moving experience profoundly frustrating. Tony presented himself as a hardworking family man, accompanied by his young sons, which made me believe that I was supporting a respectable, small family business. However, the trust I placed in him was misplaced. Despite moving just three blocks, from 8th and Juniper to 5th and Juniper, the experience was a nightmare. The team Tony brought was inexperienced and careless, which resulted in the breakage and damage of belongings worth thousands of dollars. It was not just the monetary loss, but also the sentimental value of these items that added to the distress. Moreover, the team was inefficient and took significantly longer than promised, showing a lack of motivation and professionalism. This inefficiency was frustrating and resulted in additional stress and inconvenience. Adding to the dishonesty, Tony claimed to own two trucks, including one large enough for my entire apartment. However, he showed up with a rented U-Haul truck, which was completely unprepared for the task at hand. In conclusion, I regret choosing CCE Express for my move, and I urge anyone considering this company to rethink their choice. In my opinion, CCE Express, under Tony's management, lacks integrity, professionalism, and basic competence. Tony promised to fix/replace all of the broken/damaged items. The move was August 31st. It is now November 14th and not a single item has been fixed or replaced. Odd... I tried to…read morebook them for a quick move and when I tried to call the number on their invoice to confirm the date, time and other relevant information, a woman picked up, said "No, no English..." and immediately hung up...LOL Puzzled, I double-checked the number on the Emailed quote and it was indeed correct. I immediately Emailed and cancelled. That was a serious RED FLAG. It did not stop there. The day of my move, guess what? They called to "confirm our 10:00..." I had to tell the person who called (he spoke ENGLISH) that I cancelled weeks ago. He seemed disoriented and clearly not organized. "Prohands?" More like "NO HANDS" LOL Coincidentally, I speak Spanish, among other languages so that whole thing was lame begining to end. Translation (for the woman who said "No English" and hung up on me ...LOL) Qué raro... Intenté contratarlos para una mudanza rápida y, cuando llamé al número que aparecía en su factura para confirmar la fecha, la hora y otros datos importantes, me contestó una mujer diciendo "No, no English..." y colgó de inmediato... ¡jajaja! Desconcertado, verifiqué el número en el presupuesto que me habían enviado por correo electrónico y, efectivamente, era correcto. Acto seguido, envié un correo para cancelar el servicio. Aquello fue una señal de alerta evidente. Pero la cosa no quedó ahí. El día de la mudanza, ¿adivinen qué? Me llamaron para "confirmar nuestra cita de las 10:00...". Tuve que decirle a la persona que llamaba (que hablaba inglés) que había cancelado el servicio hacía semanas. Parecía desorientado y, claramente, poco organizado. ¿"Prohands"? Más bien "NO HANDS" (sin manos), jajaja. Da la casualidad de que hablo español --entre otros idiomas--, así que todo el asunto fue un desastre de principio a fin.

My beds and furniture are always setup perfectly and in the same condition they came in. They don't nickel and dime you for every little thing like other companies. Choose them, you won't be disappointed.

DO NOT USE. They broke several platters from my travels to Europe with lack of safe packing. Dented…read moremy new refrigerator with 4 dents. It wasn't even covered in the move with plastic to protect it. They lost the handles for my refrigerator as well. Now I have to pay to have the dents and handles replaced. The manager at the storage unit where they took my things called me and told me they were drunk and broke his main gate because they were so drunk they couldn't find the code. Called how money for each step. Called for packing take, called for boxing items, called constantly instead of reviewing my items and giving me a quote for the job it was a daily harassment for money. I would not recommend them to anyone unless you want broken and damaged items and being harassed daily for money.
