It was a residential home where you are supposed to drop th package at the door regardless if I was home 3. I have a ring camera on my front door and garage door. The package was supposed to be delivered to a residence. Tracking email from UPS stated the receiver agreed to pickup the package at a UPS location; no we didn't. You're blatantly lying. Now we have to go out of our way all the way to a hub to pick up the package. The hub itself is another BS experience in and of itself. This location is great. CONVIENIENT, never a line....I can't say enough good things about the service at this location. They're open till eight pm which I really appreciate on the days that i dont make the usual 7 o'clock cut off time ups store locations. The two guys that work here are super nice always friendly happy and helpful all the time -- even if it's just before close . They know me by name and it's just always a pleasure coming here . Little to no safety precautions in place for prevention of spreading Covid-19. SOCIAL DISTANCING IS NOT ENFORCED, and there's only one way in/out so it would be futile even if it was. Staff wears protective wear (masks/gloves) which is nice, but it doesn't seem like they're doing much else to protect their customers. Packages seem to "get lost" more often when they're en route through this location, and it's happened so often that I stopped anticipating my package on the promised delivery date. We ordered a king size mattress that was supposed to be delivered by July 2nd, but while tracking the package online we saw the UPS truck enter our neighborhood and deliberately chose not to deliver our mattress. I get that it's an 80lbs package, but isn't heavy lifting a part of the job description, and you have hand trucks to assist you right? IDK, I'm not a delivery driver so what do I know. I tried to cut them some slack because the entire pandemic has been hard on ALL of us, and the drivers have been working tirelessly despite of it; HOWEVER it's July 15th and a second attempt to deliver our package was never made. Several phone calls later, finally figured out that the package was on hold for whatever ridiculous reason (it was different for each rep), but that doesn't explain the reason for not attempting to deliver again. We also had to go out of our way to ask them to hold the package for pick-up because we were tired of the false promises---we get to his location, and they magically "can't find" a freaking 80 lbs package? Where the f would an 80 lbs package go? Obviously this UPS needs to do better when it comes to PROPERLY receiving, organizing, and distributing packages, and it shows when there are always lines that go outside the door (without anyone staying 6ft apart). Hours for pickup are limited to M-F, 5pm - 8pm, and it's located in a dinky strip with no visible signage. read more

The worst customer service. The employees here very lazy and do not want to help customers. My wife drove 20 miles to this location to pick up a package for me. She showed the employees her ID (same address as mine). The front office man made no eye contact, spoke in monotone, and without any regard or respect for the customer and acted in a very passive agressive manner without acknowledging her presence. They then told her that I was the one that needs to be there to pick up the package and then began to berate her and my son in the lobby as if they were theives! I'm not sure what has happened. This hub, in the last 9 - 10 months has become a "monster"!! I have had the most TERRIBLE service concerning deliveries. Almost a year ago a package was not only LATE being delivered but it looked like it had been opened. Now since April 2, 2021 I've had two packages 'DISAPPEAR' once they made it to this hub. After 90 days, I finally received payment for the first one, now I am waiting on my second payment. $300.00 plus. And this is after being given the run around for two months of just where they were located. I was told to pick up a package and it wasn't available. it was an over night package, luckily nothing that is needed but imagine it was. They didn't care to help. the driver decided that they didn't want to deliver the package and checked signature was required even though I didn't pick that, neither did the sender of the package. they said its up to the driver. The address on here is incorrect when you pull up to the address that is listed it gives you a new address which is about a half a mile away. The hours are also incorrect the hours that I read said it was open until five on Saturday when in fact it was open until four. I was suppose to get my package on the 27th of December but it didnt arrive because the "ADDRESS WAS MISSING AN APT #" its a HOUSE in a subdivision with NO APARTMENTS ANYWHERE!? I went to the location after new years since they were closed for a week and was told that the package was set to be delivered on the 11th even though i called the automated service and set up a pick up. After waiting over 24 hours for them to find the package i returned again this morning and was told they STILL didnt find the package and would call me (like they said yesterday). That was 10AM and now its 3PM and im still waiting. This is a business package with orders that need to be shipped, ive already lost multiple dollars in refunds due to their mistake. At the same time, my agent in China is told that if i dont pick up the package by the 4th, its being disregarded EVEN THOUGH at the same time - im told to keep waiting for them to find the package. Almost everytime I have a package routed through Doraville, my package either gets returned claiming I returned it, it gets lost, or it is transferred to usps but never actually gets transferred (ups creates a tracking number but didn't actually transfer it to usps). I understand we are in unprecedented times but when I have a package routed through Kennesaw station it's on time and sometimes early. (Kennesaw is further away from me than Doraville). Wish I could give negative stars. For the second time in a couple of months the Doraville, GA center sent a driver who lied - no delivery attempt was made, no note was left on my door as was indicated 15 minutes in a email update I received while sitting 10 feet from my door where I'd been all day waiting for the package. It was 5:24 p.m. on a Saturday and I truly believe the drivers just don't want to complete work or they are too incompetent to find the right door. I called the customer service phone number and was on the phone for an hour with a manager, John, ext. 1170041 on Saturday. I was assured by John that would call me back to confirm delivery details and he told me he would have the package delivered the next business (Monday)first thing in the morning. The package contains a check in a large amount that I needed by Saturday so I was really stressed about the incompetent service I'd received so far. When I never heard back from John on Saturday, I went on the UPS website Sunday and my package was not scheduled for an early delivery on Monday like John promised. Nothing had been done. I paid an additional $8.00 for the package to be delivered at the earliest time available - 3:15-5:15 p.m on Monday. Checked the website the next business day and it says the delivery will be made by the end of the day today. UPS did charge my bank account $8.00, but did nothing to ensure I receive package on time. I seriously doubt I will even get the package today. I HATE THIS UPS LOCATION AND IT HAS CAUSED ME UNDUE STRESS. PACKAGE CONTAINS A LARGE CHECK AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHEN/IF I WILL RECEIVE IT. John, the supervisor I spoke with at the national service center, ext. 1170041 did nothing to help me, did not follow through on his promise the call me back and did not ensure the package was delivered "first thing" the next business day. read more

Ever since December 5th, as I have tracked my package, it says at first that it is out for delivery. Then much later the same night, it says there were delays and it will arrive tomorrow. It is now the 15th, and I still don't have my package. I called customer service, where they outsource of course, and he told me that he could make it so I can pick it up, but I would have to have the same address on my ID as the package. I just moved, and I have no proof of residence for the time being. he said that they would call me before they closed at 7 PM, and it's 8 PM and they are closed. 10 days, I have been tracking this package like crazy. 10 days, I have been checking the door almost obsessively, because I worry that I might miss it, or worse, be the victim of a porch stealer. I'm going out of town soon, and I will miss it completely if I don't get it by tomorrow. i have a lot of issues right now, my mother's ill, insurance and job issues, trying to make it a great Christmas for the family anyway, etc. This is making it so worse, and nobody will help me or do their job. Thankfully my experience wasn't as bad as it was for some of the other reviewers...and a few of the people I watched storm out of here after they were told that their packages weren't really available despite the customer service rep telling them it would be. First, make sure you sign in, but I am not sure why. They don't look at the list. Instead they ask you to hand them your tracking number so make sure you have it with you and ready. Next, sit and wait with 40 other people. And wait. And wait. They don't appear to do anything in any kind of order and it's all a bit confusing, but - if you're lucky like me - they'll eventually come out with your package. This is probably the worst UPS center I have ever visited in the US. I use UPS for my business continuously, but never have I seen a more poorly managed center and disrespectful staff. My package was supposed to be delivered nearly a week before it got to Doraville and then once there it was lost for 4 days! I arranged an I store pick up to help stem the delay but that only made matters worse. Despite being scanned in as "will call" I was told my package was stuck on a truck down at their freight yard and I would have to wait. Wait I did, for days! Yea, it's the holidays so there is never a crazier time to send things but the lack of customer service from UPS has become noticeable particularly over the past couple years and a week late package is unacceptable. This service center is not actually at the distro center, so packages are often lost or "unavailable" because they sit on a container down the road for days. There is hardly any parking and the set up inside is so poorly managed. The DMV or your local post office will seem like a country club compared to what UPS has stood up here. The staff is rude, provides zero clarity or answers and lies (which becomes very obvious when multiple staff people tell you different things. Taking all my business to Fedex.
