Our move was confirmed for Saturday at 2:00 p.m. We packed our entire home, organized our schedule, and prepared everything according to the commitment made by this company. When the scheduled time arrived, we called to confirm their arrival and were shocked to learn that our reservation was not even in their system. After spending a significant amount of time trying to resolve the issue, they apologized and rescheduled the move for Sunday at 8:30 a.m. Because we live in a townhouse community where moving is not allowed on Sundays, we had to go through the trouble of obtaining a special exception just to accommodate their mistake. Unfortunately, the situation became even worse. Sunday came, and once again they failed to show up. No movers, no solution, and no accountability. As a result, we were left with our entire home packed in boxes, unable to move, dealing with stressed and confused dogs, rearranging work commitments, and facing unnecessary emotional and logistical stress. This was not a minor inconvenience--it completely disrupted our lives for an entire weekend. What concerns us most is not just the mistake, but the complete lack of reliability. A moving company is hired because people trust them with one of the most important and stressful transitions in their lives. Failing once is bad enough. Failing twice in a row after promising to fix the situation is unacceptable. We strongly advise anyone considering this company to think carefully before booking. Moreover, the team was inefficient and took significantly longer than promised, showing a lack of motivation and professionalism. This inefficiency was frustrating and resulted in additional stress and inconvenience. Adding to the dishonesty, Tony claimed to own two trucks, including one large enough for my entire apartment. However, he showed up with a rented U-Haul truck, which was completely unprepared for the task at hand. In conclusion, I regret choosing CCE Express for my move, and I urge anyone considering this company to rethink their choice. In my opinion, CCE Express, under Tony's management, lacks integrity, professionalism, and basic competence. Tony promised to fix/replace all of the broken/damaged items. The move was August 31st. It is now November 14th and not a single item has been fixed or replaced. Back Savers showed up with so many movers I almost lost count. 6 or 7 of the most clean cut, uniform wearing gentleman. They got to work right away helping me finish wrapping up odds and ends. I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done. The three movers seemed to struggle with basic decision-making, which led to frustrating delays. One major issue was when they took hours trying to fix a stripped screw on my bed. They knew about the screw when they disassembled it but waited until arriving at the new location to attempt the setup, which halted everything else. To make matters worse, they caused damage to my wall during the move. The follow-up for repairs has been a nightmare; the repair person applied plaster but never returned to finish the job, leaving me to chase after him for weeks.
