Back Savers showed up with so many movers I almost lost count. 6 or 7 of the most clean cut, uniform wearing gentleman. They got to work right away helping me finish wrapping up odds and ends. I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done. I made it very clear I only needed the service for one hour, and there was no mention of a 2-hour minimum at any point during our conversation or booking. After the move was complete which did not exceed one hour the movers suddenly demanded $250, claiming there was a "2-hour minimum policy." This was never disclosed beforehand. When I tried to clarify, they became argumentative and unprofessional, insisting it was their "policy," as if that excused the fact that it was never communicated to me. This kind of bait-and-switch pricing is unacceptable. If there's a minimum charge, it must be disclosed before the service is provided not after the job is done. I feel misled and taken advantage of. Transparency and honesty are the bare minimum in customer service, especially in an industry built on trust and time.

They quickly took out the old units with a lot of care to my property, then they fully installed the new ones for me. They made all the connections and tested it, so I didn't have to worry.
