I am filing this complaint against Pack It Up Moving & Storage regarding the loss of my personal…read moreproperty, poor service, property damage, and the company's failure to adequately resolve the issue. In September 2025, I hired Pack It Up Moving & Storage to move my belongings from Calhoun, Georgia. To help reduce costs and make the move more efficient, I personally packed many of my items in advance. Every box was clearly labeled on the outside according to its contents. When the movers loaded my belongings, the truck was completely full. In fact, some items could not fit on the truck, and the rear doors barely closed due to the amount of property being transported. The company then stored my belongings for approximately two months while I searched for a home to purchase. After purchasing a home in November 2025, I scheduled delivery of my belongings. The first scheduled delivery date was November 24, 2025. The company failed to show up and had to reschedule. Delivery was eventually rescheduled for November 26, 2025. When the movers arrived, I immediately noticed that the truck was not nearly as full as it had been when my belongings were originally loaded. As unloading began, I noticed that my e-bike was missing. When I questioned the movers, they claimed that I never had an e-bike. I then contacted the company's office, where I was told that my e-bike had been left near the loading ramp. This directly contradicted what the delivery crew had told me. I asked the movers for an inventory list so that I could verify that all of my boxes had been delivered. I was told that they did not have a list. As unloading continued, I began noticing additional missing items. I waited until all items had been removed from the truck before conducting a thorough review. The company also delivered a mattress that did not belong to me. I instructed the movers to take it back with them. In addition, my refrigerator was damaged during the move, and damage was caused to a wall in my home. I was forced to pay for repairs to both. After unpacking, I discovered numerous missing items, including but not limited to: Plastic Sealer Two Heat Press Machines Cricut Machine Reindeer Head Decoration Ring Doorbell Bissell Vacuum Drone Two Sets of Bar Tools Blink Indoor Camera Laser Measuring Device Exercise Bike Two Power Tools I estimate that at least ten boxes remain missing. The items listed above represent only some of the higher-value property that was never returned. I repeatedly contacted Pack It Up Moving & Storage regarding my missing belongings. Approximately six months later, the company located my exercise bike and two TV mounts. However, the majority of my missing property has never been recovered. The owner has offered only $400 in compensation despite the fact that the missing property is valued at well over $3,000. This estimate does not even include every missing item, as I intentionally focused on the higher-value property to simplify the claim. I am extremely dissatisfied with the company's handling of this matter. My belongings were supposedly stored together in a secured vault, yet numerous items disappeared and only a small portion was recovered six months later. The company has shown little concern for the significant financial loss and inconvenience I have experienced. I have been forced to spend my own money replacing items that should never have gone missing. I am requesting that Pack It Up Moving & Storage provide fair compensation for the missing property and fully address the losses and damages caused during this move. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to consumers who value the safety and security of their belongings.

Here is a professional, polished version of your statement while preserving your concerns and…read moredetails: I have hired professional movers several times over the past seven years, and this was by far my worst experience. The crew worked extremely slowly, which appeared to unnecessarily increase the total time billed at an hourly rate. They were also poorly prepared for the move, arriving with only one dolly and lacking the necessary tools to properly disassemble my furniture. As a result, I had to arrange additional help, and the move significantly exceeded my two-hour move-out time slot. This delay forced us to find alternative ways to access my apartment and transport my belongings. Despite arriving at 10:00 AM, the movers did not begin disassembling my bed until 1:45 PM. Additionally, the owner chose to send a truck that was far too small for my move, even though I had reviewed the full inventory of my apartment with him twice in advance. I ultimately had to use my own heavy-duty wagon to assist with moving items downstairs in an effort to keep the process moving. There was also a clear lack of care in handling my belongings. Items such as a glass mirror and a fabric headboard were not properly wrapped, and I had to personally intervene to ensure they were protected. Due to limited space in the truck, I was forced to transport some items in my own vehicle. We did not arrive at the new apartment until nearly 4:00 PM. At that point, the owner complained to me about "working for free," which was highly inappropriate given that I was paying for the service. I then had to address multiple false statements and contradictions regarding the charges. The owner initially attempted to charge just under $1200 for the move and presented a "discounted" rate of $980, which I did not accept. I ultimately paid just over $800 for a two bedroom apartment and 5 mile move that took nine hours, which I still feel was excessive considering the poor service and damages incurred. My furniture was improperly assembled, scratched, and dirty, and items were crammed into an undersized truck. In one instance, screws were driven into the back of my dresser, causing visible damage and holes. Hardware was not properly secured or labeled; instead, screws were kept loosely in the movers' pockets rather than being bagged and attached to the corresponding furniture. I have included photos from the move. Notably, the truck provided--described by the owner as being in good condition--had a hole covered with duct tape and a cracked windshield. Overall, this company is poorly managed and highly unprofessional. I strongly recommend against using their services. If possible, I would have rated this experience zero stars. I failed to mention that he made disparaging commas about his own staff, specifically their inability to load the truck properly and how 1 like to do more of one thing than the other. He said one person with a lawyer and one person with a simpler which was causing the slowdown. He claims to train all of his staff, but at negative things to say about them.
