I am an avid believer in checking reviews and since I had never hired movers before, Yelp was my "GO TO" in finding a reputable company to move my family into our new home. The reviews for Cleansville movers were consistently impeccable so I didn't hesitate making the initial call to get a quote. When Ms. Sydni answered the phone, her energy was so positive and upbeat that I felt I was instantly talking to a helpful friend. She was thorough in her questions to ensure that my needs were met during my move, even double checked the rate with someone else to ensure I got an accurate quote. Once I got my quote, I researched other options and found that for the number of people and hours of work, the quote was comparable or less than other competitors so I sent my deposit soon after. Before the move, Syndi did a follow up call to get additional info I had forgotten about which was extremely helpful. She was such an asset in this process. On the day of the move, she called to see if the team could come early, which I was thrilled about. When I pulled up with the UHAUL, the entire team was lined up in front of my apartment building with dollies and huge smiles!! I was so excited!!! They worked with extreme efficiency, were so pleasant, and even sang while they moved us out!!! I was floored!! I was actually enjoying the move! They had my three bedroom apartment home (which was on the third floor) disassembled, tvs wrapped, furniture wrapped, full sized washer and dryers disconnected and moved out as well as all of the boxes in the house out of space in a little less than TWO HOURS!!! Once we got to the new house, they rolled out and go IMMEDIATELY to work. All they would take that I offered were beverages which they drank while they worked. While they were setting up the bedrooms and bringing in boxes, I left to get more cold drinks. When I came back twenty minutes later, all of the bedrooms were set up. ALL THREE BEDROOMS. I was in tears. They did any and every thing I asked them to do with not one wave of negative energy, only helpful smiles. They don't nickel and dime you for the use of their tools and dollies. They simply came to get the job done in a timely manner and brought along all that was needed. It was an incredible and refreshing experience to have with a black owned business!!! Cleansville Movers provided excellent service at a highly competitive price. My partner and I hired Cleansville Movers staff to help us move all of our heavy furniture and several other items from a three bedroom house into a new three bedroom house. The crew SKILLFULLY: (1) loaded (efficiently used space ensuring we only required one truckload - thus saving time as well), (2) unloaded (kept everything intact and well cared for) and (3) took our cues as they arranged our possessions in our new home. Result: they completely moved us in (i.e. the contents of a 17-foot truck filled to the brim) in the span of just over an hour - a job that would have cost us several hours and a ton of aches and pains had we done it alone. As the company explains in its description, Cleansville offers high quality labor while the customer is responsible for providing the transport vehicle. It was more than worth it for us to rent out our own hauling truck, as the truck rental cost plus the labor cost Cleansville offered was significantly more affordable than the rates charged by other major companies in the Atlanta area who provide transport (trust me, we did our research). I am so late writing this review... So a few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of being served by one of the crews of Cleansviille Movers. I had just gotten in from South Florida the previous day with a 26 footer (Penske truck) the previous night and was ready to get this portion of the move over with. The two gentlemen came and my wife and I spoke to them about how we wanted the house packed up as far as where certain boxes would or would not go and such. We did this with the intention and understanding that I would be assisting them in unloading the trailer, as it was quite a bit of objects to move. But when we were done, one of the gentlemen kindly explained that they don't allow any of their clients to do any of the heavy lifting, and that the two of them would take care of everything. Surprised us. And was also refreshing; expecially considering how tired I was from the day before. The two guys went through that truck like a hot knife through butter. They unloaded that entire truck in less than an hour and a half. They did it smoothly and professionally as well. And they were kind enough to set all of the different boxes into different rooms as we pointed each one out to them. They even assisted me in putting some of the furniture together as well. This company has a customer forever. I know that my wife and I will be moving again in about 2 years, and we will definitely be utilizing there buisness a second time. Working with Cleansville was so wonderful! My great experience started with Sydni- she was so helpful on the phone and so friendly and patient with me as I tried to figure out what options for moving would work best for me. I had to make some changes after my booking and Sydni was prompt in replying to me via email so that I was aware that she had received my messages.The day of my move, the movers communicated with me very effectively and timely to let me know when they would be arriving and they got the job done right within our allotted time! They worked very hard throughout the whole process and I didn't even see them take any breaks. This was the second time that I hired Joe and one of his men, Nathan, to help me move. They were absolutely PHENOMENAL! They were in touch with me both the day before the scheduled move and the morning of with updates on their estimated arrival. They brought all of the necessary equipment needed and were very respectful of my property and goods. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Both men were extremely professional in both their work ethic, timeliness, and conversation. I am an ex-mover, having done it for 5 years or so when I was a younger man and have extensive experience as a packer, loader, helper, and driver. So you can take it from me when I say these guys were professionals and knew what they were doing. I hired Cleansville Movers to unload a 26-foot straight truck. They got straight to work upon arrival. They were very careful with several antique pieces of bedroom furniture and placed everything where it needed to go based on the sticker on the box or specific instructions from my wife and I. The folks at Cleansville were the best. From the initial phone call, I felt a sense of relief that they were going to take great care of us, and they did. Very professional, personable and friendly team. We were able to take advantage of a special going at the time that allowed us a free hour with four of their wonderful guys loading a 3 bedroom home into a POD. I recently moved to Brookhaven, GA from Grand Rapids, MI and made the best decision of my life to hire Cleansville Movers to unload my Budget Rental truck when I arrived to my new apartment. The customer service was outstanding and the gentlemen that unloaded the truck were the definition of efficient. Within an hour they had the truck unloaded and everything organized neatly into the new building. Keep in mind this was 4 stories up and down a long hallway. I had a pleasant experience hiring Cleansville to pack my 16' POD and then unload it 3 weeks later. Joel (Joe-el) moved me both times along with one of his co-workers. He's the man and he's the one that made it all come together. Very professional, kind and experienced. As long as Cleansville holds onto to him they will have a successful business. The office staff was also thorough in collecting my info and getting everything set up. They tell you the price before the movers come so as long as you stay inside your window of time there are no surprises. 5 stars for these guys and would highly recommend them. We first called Cleansville a year ago, after the company we'd hired to unload our moving truck flaked. Although it was very short notice, Joel and his crew came to our rescue. They called when they were on their way and showed up right when they said they would, and they did great work unloading our truck carefully but quickly. When we moved again this month we called them again, and they both loaded and unloaded the truck for us. Again, they were efficient and professional throughout the entire process, wrapping our furniture carefully and packing the truck tightly so nothing was damaged. Not only did they arrive on time- they actually came early- but the gentlemen were extremely respectful and kind.
