They were quick, figured out how to make the tight spaces work, and were super patient the whole time. Nothing got messed up or damaged, not one thing. On top of that, they just had great energy and great personalities. Made the whole move feel easy instead of stressful, and I felt like my stuff was in good hands the entire time. 10 out of 10. I've used Atlanta Home Movers a bunch of times now, and this team is hands down my favorite. I'll definitely be booking with them again.

David in the office told me what to expect when I booked and answered all my questions: it all went exactly as he said it would. I paid a simple hourly fee for the labor, and a flat fee for the junk removal of the old units. No hidden costs. Richard was the team lead, and his experience was clear; they arrived on time and they handled the job with speed and assuredness. They quickly took out the old units with a lot of care to my property, then they fully installed the new ones for me. They made all the connections and tested it, so I didn't have to worry. I can't say enough about how well they treated me - they were all true pros every step of the way. AHM handled each detail, and I ALWAYS knew what to expect and what it would cost in time and money. They were transparent with everything and took great care of me. I will happily hire them again whenever I need labor, junk removal, or moving services.

Josh, Lavunty, Justin, and Dre were assigned to the project. The group led by Josh was beyond professional! They saw the challenge, discussed a team on the best strategy, and went to work. They ensured the safety of the team and the property was top priority. We had Success! Thanks Guys!

I reported it to the lead mover the same evening I realized it was missing. He apologized and told me they must have forgotten it somewhere at my apartment complex. When I later obtained the building's surveillance footage, it showed one of the movers carrying my chair after it came off the elevator. The lead mover confirmed the person in the video was one of his employees. Despite this, the chair has never been recovered. I declined the additional valuation coverage because the lead mover assured me I didn't need it and told me they wouldn't damage my furniture during the move. I never imagined I needed coverage for a chair disappearing entirely while it was in the movers' possession. After reviewing the situation, the Operations Manager called me, apologized, and told me he agreed with me that the company was completely in the wrong for what happened. However, Vladimir, who is both the owner and the manager handling claims, has refused to take responsibility for losing my chair and has refused to compensate me for its value beyond offering $36. There were other issues during the move as well. The truck they sent wasn't large enough to complete our move, forcing us to leave boxes, plants, and other belongings behind to move ourselves. In addition, the movers smelled strongly of marijuana after arriving at our new home, which was very concerning. This entire experience has been stressful and incredibly disappointing. Losing an expensive piece of furniture is one thing, but the lack of accountability afterward has been even worse. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to think twice and carefully review the paperwork before trusting them with their belongings.

Since we were more or less satisfied with the previous move (except what i omitted from my last…read morereview - that the leg of a very expensive vintage cabinet was broken and no form of compensation was granted), we recently contracted AW Nationwide Movers for another house move (from Chatt Hills into Atlanta). Overall the job was done well but some of it could be done more professionally; for example a big deep wide hole to the wall in one place on the staircase after Allen told his guy to hurry up getting a big furniture up the stairs; but above all, and what prompts me now to edit my review (otherwise I wouldn't), is the following, that REALLY GETS ME MAD: shortly before moving we bought a new, EXCELLENT, EXPENSIVE king size bed for our master bedroom, since our old bed was screeching with every slight turn so it was hard to sleep. Our new bed was dead quiet and durable and finally it was easy to sleep on it. Recently we've noticed the bed started responding very loudly to every tiny move of the body on it. You can't turn or move on it without a loud noise, probably even louder than the previous bed. Terrible. And indeed it rocks like a rocking chair. So i called a handiman who tried to fix it but managed to only improve it some - reduced the noise and the rocking to about a half of what it was which is still a bummer; he told us it is BEYOND FIXING - there is only so much that he could tighten the screw, because, he said, the movers that last re-assembled this bed broke the screw hole and no screw will fit there and there's nothing that can be done about it!!!Based on my experience last time I am not even trying to ask for compensation from Allen, but mad about the destruction of such a new expensive amazing beautiful bed we were so happy we had purchased, i feel bound to add this edit to my review! And regarding being cheaper than others: i don't really think it's true. 1. Another less than professional feature of the service is that it somehow ends up being more expensive than the initial quote and i am not referring to the obvious tips that we are always happy to give the hard working day-laborers but to being asked for more money than the initial quote because of this and that, something i believe a more professional company wouldn't do. 2. Irrepairable damage to your most important, really expensive furniture! By the way, to fix the wall and re-assemble some furniture that they didn't have the time to complete re-assembling, at the end of the moving day Allen said he would send me another handiman he works with the next day, he gave me his contact to contact him and schedule this, indeed that handiman came and did the job but what do i learn then? That his job wasn't included in the payment i paid Allen - i had to pay him separately! So: It's better to contract a bigger and more accountable company that won't damage your property and will conduct themselves in a more professional manner. Make sure to work with a company that has its own full-time, long-time employees, as opposed to per-project laborers (simply one way of telling a professional company from a less than professional one).
