The Facility Manager Jadarius Thomas "JD" called me immediately to confirm my reservation. Today, I actually visited the store and "JD" and Anthony were very professional and welcoming. I was given a complete tour of the facility and I was extremely impressed, mainly because the facility is brand new. They have storage units in all sizes to meet your needs. JD explained the monthly storage rates to me and he also explained the affordable insurance options to protect my furniture from flooding and damages that might occur. I elected to take the coverage because I'd rather be safe than sorry. If your looking for a new and clean storage facility, I'd definitely recommend this location.

She didn't listen to the recording of Jontā the area manager promising me a discount. She didn't read the actual notes on my account that prove he has lied several times. She just believed what he said recently to defend himself, without proof. She admitted they made a mistake, but is forcing me to literally pay for it. She takes NO ownership of Jontā's lies & mistakes. I have proof of the mistakes, but she said it didn't matter. She said that she could make more $$ off the street value of my unit. **The truth finally comes out.** It's a sleazy landlord raising the rent to force a longterm tenant to move so they can charge more to a new renter. She admitted as much. Then made a lowbrow remark suggesting that I couldn't pay for the unit as if that's why I wanted the discount. NOT the case at all. How dare she even suggest that? I never ONCE said it was that i couldn't afford it. It's always been about fraudulent business practices. I have proof the discount was put into play for January, not December. THEIR RECEIPTS SHOW THIS! That same receipt shows I'm paid in full. No late fees. But February's receipt suddenly includes a late fee for January & Feb. They also charge a late fee for 20% of the FULL amount of the rental fee. Not on the $19 discount that wasn't honored! I paid over $300, and they deposited it, and STILL charge me a late fee on what I paid. Isn't that fraud? I owe $19, & the late fees make it almost $200! That sounds very sketchy.

However in this location the lady I believe her name is Pam made my experience super complicated. Did not want to help unless o went in person so I went to a local public storage to provide my license and 2weeks later I still can't get in touch with anyone to access the storage unit. I had to rent another space due to complications and still haven't gotten a call back or anything to cancel my reservation. I have been charged and have no choice to visit the location before I get charged again. Ming you I live almost 2 hrs away. Awful service and I have never experienced this with any public storage.

They never will unlock the bathrooms when you need them and they are never in the office and when they are they sit on their phone and ignore you when you need help. Units are trashed. People leaving pee bottles outside the building because they refuse to open the bathroom for people. We saw someone peeing in the bushes, a guy in an old BMW verbally fighting outside another guy for selling stolen goods. Like their manager needs to be fired. We've had a unit at northside for years and their manager is a GEM. Regret ever switching locations and got out of there immediately before our unit was destroyed and belongings smelled like the building.

2 massive rent increases in less than a year. I rented my unit in Aug 2023 for $99 (this was not a…read morepromotional rate). 4 months in, they increased the rent to $148. 10 months in, got another notice that rent will be $205. When I called an asked the reason for the increase, they told me it was the "market" price. Extra Life has been buying up all the storage units and setting the "market" themselves. Clearly read your rental agreement as well. There is no limit on how much and how frequently they can increase the rent. They also have an arbitration clause in the rental agreement that prevents you from taking them to court. Simple case of price gouging where there are no consumer protection laws in GA. Will be moving out soon, and hope the demand drops to hurt their bottom line
