This is a very safe, orderly, well-run storage facility. The location is in a very congested area,…read morebut it is very accessible and I found I could almost always use the covered parking bay when I made a point of visiting in off-hours. The units, hallways, and elevators are spotless. I never had a concern about the temperature or humidity inside the building. I appreciated that there was surveillance in all the hallways, given that it is a very large and cavernous place. In the end, the human element is what makes this facility stand out. I dealt mainly with Mario, and he is super-conscientious and pro-actively gave me every bit of information I needed to use this facility confidently, rent an additional unit, and vacate my spaces economically. I highly recommend this outfit if you live on the north side and looking for storage. To my mind, it's a near perfect arrangement for a reasonable price.

I picked this place because they had an affordable rate with no indication the price would increase. Two months into rental I get notice that my rate is increasing. $90 to start, NOW ITS 179. Called to ask for some info and was told my month-to-month lease holds no pricing guarantees. So we are forced to move out on principle. Short term was great, but highway robbery is unacceptable. It also exits into a one way. Which is fine but driving a uhaul means tough u-turns or added miles to drive around the block.

I am beyond frustrated with my experience at this Public Storage facility. This was my first time…read moreusing them, and it will absolutely be my last. The issues started with unexpected rate hikes, but the real nightmare began when I tried to move out. For over a month, the facility kept their trash cans locked, making it impossible for customers to dispose of small debris while cleaning out their units. When I placed my items near the locked bins--since there was literally no other way to dispose of them on-site--management called it "illegal dumping." They threatened me with a heavy fine unless I removed everything immediately. Because the items were too large for a standard residential bin, I had to: 1. Pay friends to help me load the garbage back into a vehicle. 2. Transport the trash back to my own house. 3. Hire a private junk removal company to haul it away. I have wasted an incredible amount of time and money dealing with their lack of basic amenities and aggressive "fining" tactics. If you want a facility that actually supports its tenants instead of looking for ways to charge them more, look elsewhere.

Jieurka was so kind and helpful in getting the storage unit set. Kenya was a therapist who took my numerous calls and answered every single complicated question I had, with kindness. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE…read more We were given an 8-10 AM arrival window after repeatedly explaining that we had to be out of our house by 5 PM or face a $400 penalty. We were assured this would not be a problem. The movers arrived at 3:50 PM. For nearly six hours, customer service repeatedly told us they were "on their way." At one point, customer service hung up on me. To be clear, the movers themselves were great. They worked hard but looked exhausted after coming straight from another job. The problem was clearly the company's scheduling and management--not the crew. Then we received the bill: more than DOUBLE our quote, including six hours of labor when only four hours were actually worked. After showing up almost six hours past the end of their arrival window, risking a $400 penalty, and overbilling us, their solution was to offer to buy us dinner. Great movers. Terrible management, communication, scheduling, and billing. Based on my experience, I would absolutely not use this company again.

When I started my unit was $143 bucks now it over $240 bucks. Every 3 months they increase it. Very few upgrades have happened to this facility since I started. Only new thing is a self-entry key pad got an upgrade. I don't like that there is a constant increase. What I like about this place is that it is close to where I live. I can easily go and get my things and drop stuff off. It is very necessary since I only have two closets. Having the unit makes it super easy to change items out every season. Plus the parking is nice as you can back directly into the garage. Each level is secure. I feel safe in here at all times. Must punch in code to access facility and then punch in code to access elevators. Cameras are located everywhere. Big incentive for women to use this facility because of the security. During office hours, there is always someone on site. Usually 2 office members. Tip: can rent truck for move-in only
