I used this public storage location for many years. Throughout the years this location was well kept & very clean. If there is a problem at this location, the property manager acts very promptly as I had one problem with a bee hive that was built over my storage (when I had an outside storage). When I contacted the property manager, the issue was taken care of the next day. I cannot remember who was the property manager years ago however recently I had been dealing with Tammi as she is the currently property manager at this location. She has always been helpful in assisting me with my needs at this location & very detailed with me about my questions & concerns. Though I just vacated the location today, I recommend this location to anybody looking for a storage in the Concord area. This location has done me very well & if I ever need another storage in the Concord area, I will return to this location. read more

Tammi was wonderful! I showed up a little early to my appointment and she was assisting another new client. She made me feel included and didn't make me feel bad for being early. She is very personable and made me feel like my stuff will be in great hands. She explained everything about what I was signing, made sure all of my questions were answered, and made this the easiest interaction I have ever had. Years ago I had public storage and my interactions were okay around a 3 star. Tammi wowed me and I will refer this location to my friends and family. Thank you Tammi for making a difficult time for me not so difficult. read more

I had a very good experience here. Nice, clean, secure facility and great property manager. I loved that I could drive up right next to my space. I also really appreciated that they have a restroom-- very important when you are spending a few hours at storage going through your stuff, and my last storage facility didn't have one. read more

I concur Meredith!!! My unit was just broken into and robbed on 4/25/13. The only surveillance camera they have is located at the entry gate, and guess what? Yes, it was facing downward and broken. The clerk working there had a poker face during the entire ordeal. This place needs to be shut down! What they do is offer a third party insurance company to their customers and then when theft happens they go mute and tell you they are not liable. WRONG!! They are liable and will be taken to court. Please DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. They even have someone living inside one of the units. Unit# 109. It's all a set up. read more

We had to make some room in our garage at home while doing some repairs, so needed to get a short term storage unit. Booked a reservation online and someone called within minutes to confirm and set an appointment to come in. Tammi was the person that helped us out and the process was super easy and painless. She was professional, efficient, while also being upbeat and happy ! That's really nice to encounter these days, in a maddening world where great customer service is sorta rare these days. read more

A very clean storage unit and surrounding area. The manager, Tammi, was very helpful and cordial. She calls you to help remind you when your monthly rent is due so that you don't forget and get charged a late fee. read more

I found that Tammi at the Public Storage facility in Concord on Concord Ave is very helpful and informative. I also felt as though she genuinely cares about the people who rent spaces within the facility. She has done an amazing job with turning the grounds around and keeping up with the cleanliness. It is a joy every time I have to go into my unit or need information to share with others who need units, She goes above an beyond the call of duty for the tenants. I highly recommend this facility over any of the other Public Storage facilities because Tammi cares! read more

Ok so I'm happy with the price here because it beets any other, but I get no respect here, I'm a customer for 4 months now and I'm an Army contractor so I leave for months and come back for small weeks. I threw all my housing stuff inside because I decided it would be cheaper to leave it there than some apt that I'm not living at, and lately I get this attitude that I'm living in it and I can't store my microwave in there, even it's not being used. When I'm back I have a company to run so I have to pick up stuff every morning to load up in my truck and drop it off at night to open up my truck for whatever the next job needs. I'd be somewhere else in a sec if the price was the same somewhere else with the same hours, but they beat all the prices out there. read more

History

Established in 1972.

The first Public Storage building opened in El Cajon California, but the new business was only supposed to be temporary. Two partners pioneered the concept as a way to use their real estate investment while they waited for the Southern California community to take off and value of their land to grow. They kept building, and people continued to fill their units. Eventually the pair realized that self-storage was here to stay, and they never looked back. Today, there are thousands of neighborhood Public Storage locations to choose from, many right around the corner from you.
