Chose this place a year ago because they were the only ones that had a large enough space for me. Price was fair. They just doubled their rent with 1 month notice so I'm out. On move out, found massive rat problems in my unit. A lot of my wood furniture is ruined and soiled and there are droppings covering all of my stuff. Pretty awful. read more

I had already seen the reviews for this place but I didn't believe it, and since it happened to several people at this place, I cancelled one of my units. A guy named DYLAN personally helped me and by the way, he smelled like marijuana and looked like he had smoked too much. I don't cancel it, that day I told him that I wanted to cancel it but that I lost my keys, he told me very nicely and with a drugged face that I shouldn't worry that he was going to remove it and that I shouldn't worry that he was going to check the unit and if there was something wrong he would send me a message but days later I didn't have any message so I assumed it was canceled and when a week passed they charged me so I went back to the place to talk to him and he told me that he didn't know anything about the cancellation, that he hadn't attended to me and that they didn't receive keys and I agree with that but he told me that he would open it that day and I believed him, obviously the kid smoked so much marijuana that he doesn't know what he's doing and now they are trying to charge me for that unit, the supervisors should be more professional in hiring their staff and they should check the cameras to see what the employees do. read more

Just no, i can't say anything good about this place tbh. I have tried to give them benefit of the doubt time and time again, and just no. Trying to get anything handled is pulling teeth from a alligator. Customer Service is pretty much useless, the manager on site rarely answers the phone when you call, and for the price you should allow 24hr access. read more

The property manager Celina is always a pleasant person. She was able to help me pick a unit size with a breeze. I've never had any problems with service. I currently have 2 units & the only complaint is with autopay. I've asked to be removed several times to be told it'll be done the next month. BEWARE! Renting through this company was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever endured. They are owned and operated by a company in California, the local property managers are nice but helpless with regards to shady accounting practicese. EXPECT your monthly rate to increase at 6 month intervals, and expect to be assessed late fees or admin fees if your payment is late of fails for any reason, even if the fault is theirs. It's really easy to find a more customer service friendly storage facility in your area. Let Google be your friend even if you have to drive an extra few minutues. read more

The only negative thing I can say is that our rate went up twice since we moved in 11/2015. I called and left a voicemail about 2 weeks ago asking why and didn't receive a response. Not surprised, but was just wondering why our rates went up. Otherwise, no issues. read more

The location in Clearwater, Fl was very professional. The property manager Tammy was very prompt in reaching me for my move in. It took about 15 minutes to get our storage unit paid for. The only thing I didn't care too much about was having the rental insurance. I only needed the storage space for less than a month. Overall my experience was great. Overall a great and safe place to store, but not happy about the mandatory insurance or purchasing THEIR lock ($21) if you do not have one present at signup. Their $1.00 signup special appears and disappears week by week and all locations. Being as I'm an existing/longtime renter, I could not sign up for a friend who's moving here from out of state, necessitating a THIRD person to sign in order to get the move in special. read more

This location was my belongings home for 4years and the price continuously went up and more than 10% over that time and Very often! The customer service was not as it should be and they'll not help you at all when life throws unexpected curve balls and mother nature they same. I never asked for a hand out, refund and only requested help when my husband passed away this July. It was sudden heart failure and then the scare of hurricane Dorian, that did not make it here, thankfully closed the location for precautions. Well they closed and reopen AFTER the due date (and given the Xtra days) they charged a Late fee!!? I had already planned to move come Oct, then decided to take my stuff elsewhere in the next 2 days and to find RAT/MOUSE SHIT EVERYWHERE WAS THE WORST WAY TO REALLY END IT ALL FOR ME!!! I can understand a few ants, and spiders even palmettos , the rest is totally unexcusable. And so far nothing has been done to help. And to let you ALL know, if you, and it is required at rental time, purchase the insurance, it doesn't pay, even though stated it will reimburse $ 250.00 for damages. Poor customer service , even the regional manager is hard to get hold of. There is no direct line and it is a game of phone tag. They Love to debate you, and don't give a crap. I call bullshit. I do not have words to explain what an incredible experience I had with Public storage. I am a new customer looking around for a storage to put my things. I first went to the Missouri location, and Norma took great care of my husband and I. I could not afford that particular space and Ms. Norma went out her way to search a location that is within my price range. I am so grateful and bless for her because she made this transition very comfortable for me and my husband. She is very professional and cares so much about her customers.
