    I have had previous business with public storage on multiple occasions, they have in fact been my go to for the last 2 years for whenever I had storage needs, not this property in particular but the company. My point is I have been a customer, and would of likely remained a customer. BUT on this event, isolated event mind you, I felt, without doubt that my business with them was not important in the least. I had reserved a storage unit and while reserving was under the impression that I would be privileged to a move in special where the first months rent was 1$. (plus the cost of lock if needed, and insurance.) I got an email with this information and I continued my online checkout thinking as I put in my information that is the terms to which I was agreeing. But I guess I didn't think to re-read it all, I should of known that the terms of my agreement had changed I guess? So, if you chose to do business with them make sure you read everything before you put in your information because you may be thinking you are getting a promotion and they may pull an ol' switcharoo on you.. A few days pass and I notices a charge for 175.74 from this public storage. Its somehow an error I think and give them a call to which they tell me because I had another unit, in South Carolina, that I had cancelled 6 days prior, that I would of had to wait a week to benefit from the promotion? Which no one told me when I was checking in that if I had waited a day I would of been given the promotion I had thought i had been receiving? Or that day I reserved my storage the manager himself called me, but the same.. making the money then was more important that the long term customer relationship. I'm very disappointed with the service because you would think they would of thought "this customer thought this is the deal she was receiving, she received an email confirming this deal, we should honor the deal to retain the customer" but it was not their care or concern weather or not I remained a customer with them. In fact, I let them know that because of this incident I would be taking my business elsewhere and they promptly let me know I needed to vacate the property by the 31st and I received a text & email with the details of my move out date within minutes after the phone call. Now if only they could of put that same energy and effort into retaining a customer. They would of had that 150$ per month for the unforeseeable future, all it would of took was to make it right.

    I'm updating my review after speaking with the district manager, although it took a Yelp review to get their attention, rather than their internal communications. He helped me with what I've been requesting for months to get addressed, so I'm bumping up my stars for his customer service. Hopefully they'll get better staff or more training to be able to communicate and provide better customer service. Other than that, the place is temperature controlled and locked with special code needed to enter facility. Not 24hr access. Had to move out since I'm no longer living in the area. Good luck!

    false advertising the 1st month for $1 then you fill the form and get charged with a bunch of fees , $165 you just lost a long term client.

We're writing to inform you of a necessary adjustment to the rental rate for your unit #E****. Starting August 1, 2025, the monthly rent for your space will be $161.00. This change ensures that we can maintain the high standard of service you expect from us." That is some BS y'all. I'm done.
