My attempts to speak with them about it have not been successful. So I offer only this: according to the US DOT website, they are currently operating without insurance and are not authorized for the out-of-state move they took my deposit for. You can verify this by going to the USDOT website and entering the USDOT number listed on the bottom of Esteemed Movers website. (I've attached the screenshots from 3/29/22.) My guess is that while they are great movers, someone in the office is overwhelmed and not taking care of the business side of things. (And yes, Sharon, you are correct. When he arrived at our storage unit He told my wife that "this was the worst move I've ever made". Upon unpacking our items we found multiple broken things, not a big deal. After contacting Esteemed (or lack there of) movers to start a moving claim they began to ignore us. Like I said we moved in October, it is currently the end of June and I am still waiting to hear from them after multiple attempts to contact them to be reimbursed. Other issues: They showed up to start packing at 9am and didn't finish until 2am. Boxes where mislabled/not labeled at all. They had to pack items in the morning because they where thrown in a pile in our garage. Our toilet plunger was packed in my weber grill with our egg container.

Anthony paid great attention to detail, pointing out the state of our furniture before the move began and taking great care of all our belongings. Even my plants made it to the new house safely. The crew was extremely efficient and got the job done without pause. They are cost effective and upfront about their pricing, which can be rare with moving companies. Who's response was "I know the guys did a horrible job" he said he would reimburse me for the stained mattress, I didn't realize until days later that they damaged my washer, and also to call a carpet cleaning company to remove the stains from the carpet and he'd also reimburse me for that. Well I mailed everything and I never got reimbursed. Companies like this one are just too much of a hassle to deal with. I just don't have the time and energy to deal with greedy people.

I am an Air Force military member and have moved many times in the past few years from California to Arizona, Arizona to Germany, Germany to Arizona, Arizona to Tennessee and plenty of times around the city and around the world. Out of all the times that I have moved, even when I had my items shipped from overseas I have never had any broken/ dented items. It took the movers 2.25 hours to load items that took .75 hrs to unload. I was not only penalized by my property management company for exceeding my 5pm time limit but also charged for their extra hour of services. This company showed up with three men when I had initially requested two. I don't have a lot of things since I lived in a 600 sq ft apartment and I had previously packed all of my items in boxes with the exception of my wardrobe items because I read in a post below that the boxes were to be provided for an easy move. When the men got there only one man was working which was Artemas the driver/owner which he took a lengthy time wrapping up all my furniture in plastic and moving blankets; the second mover was moving boxes out slowly out the complex and the 3rd mover was doing god knows what inside the truck. After 2 hrs of seeing no progress with the move I got so frustrated I had to call for extra help from my brother. When 4pm hit I had to tell the men to stop and to head out to the new complex to avoid extra penalties. At this point they were only half way done with my 600 sq ft living space items. As I was leaving my complex I noticed my fire extinguisher was damaged/ broken in the ground and was brushed behind a door to hide the evidence. I took a picture of this to document. We arrived at the complex and as we arrived the property manager offer to help unload to help speed things up and get out on time. The movers were helpless I still ended up moving and doing heavy lifting myself and inconveniencing others which is why people hire movers to avoid these issues. When the property manager saw the items that were inside the truck he commented that he couldn't believe it took them 3hrs to move the little bit of items that were loaded in the truck. We unloaded all the items in 45 minutes which incurred just the same distance back and forth from truck to property along with elevator included. Horror doesn't end there. As we unwrapped the items to hand back the blankets i noticed a huge dent on the side of my wooden bar. I pointed that out to them and asked if i was going to be reimbursed for the damages. Artemas, responded defensively and said that neither him or his men did it without even asking his men. When I asked him to stop speaking for his men and let them speak he asked his men in a demeaning manner if they had made the damages. None of them admitted to the damage and then said that I did the damage when I was unloading the bar from the truck and that he was not liable for it. I told him I would file a complaint at a later date and would contact the company, but I guess I am Shit Out of Luck since he is the owner of course there is no need to fear being liable for things. They also at end of the move made us return the wardrobe boxes so i ended flipping all my clothes upside down to on the floors of my bedrooms to get them out as soon as possible. This issue will be directed to the Better Business Bureau for any disciplinary actions on this business. But for now please beware of this company. I would suggest to go with a different company to avoid any physically, emotionally, and financially heartache.

They did an OK job but can really improve on professionalism and customer service. Even though I scheduled a few days ahead, Luke didn't ask for my address until the the morning of the move, a few minutes before he was to show up. They showed up more than 20 minutes late with no apologies or explanation. I really rushed to get my new keys on time and get the moving truck to the location just to sit around waiting for them. So I started unloading the truck myself until Luke and his worker arrived. They showed up with moving blankets and other moving materials but they never unloaded them from their truck. On their website it showed they prep the doors, cover furniture with blankets, and lay down runners to protect damage but they didn't and my front door got small dings. My freshly painted walls were left with blue ink from the boxes being dropped against the walls. Most of my dishes were left broken. I've moved MANY times and never had an issue with dishes breaking since I wrap each item. They took 3 hours to unload a truck for a 1 bd apt with no major furniture besides a bed, a loveseat, a few small tables and boxes. it really seemed they were purposely moving slow to stretch the time out. They stopped and talked alot to each other laughing and joking like they were hanging out not charging quite expensive per hour. They leisurely moved a few boxes from the truck to the foot of the stairs a few feet away. No hustle or breaking a sweat here. I understand you have a 3 hr minimum but the unloading should have only taken 1.5 hrs then the rest of the time could have been spent helping me set up furniture and organizing the boxes to the right rooms but instead the boxes were left randomly everywhere and it was hard to then move all the boxes to the right rooms by myself after they left. Overall, they got the job done and got my stuff up the flight of stairs which is why I needed the help. At the end I personally wouldn't hire them again as it seemed my small job was not that important to the company. Never got a receipt, a thank you for your business, or anything. I recently moved again and had a very different experience with another company.

Awesome moving company!…read more First and foremost, SUPER QUICK reply. Called me seconds after I sent the Yelp message - I was pretty amazed. Background: my boyfriend and I rented a truck and were going to do everything ourselves. His friend came by the night before to help with the really heavy stuff. Our giant couch wouldn't fit in the stairway (no clue how they got it in honestly). We realized we needed some professional help so I started scrambling to find someone. Luke called me immediately and quoted me a super reasonable price (better than any of the other companies that eventually replied). The next day, Luke was very communicative in regards to their arrival time (they had a job beforehand). Luke came with another worker and they were both very pleasant. They wrapped the couch quickly and well. They ended up using straps to lower it from the second floor hallway (my building is open). We ended up just hiring them to load up the entire truck and I'm so glad we did. They did it quickly and at a very reasonable rate. Idk what we were thinking - it would have taken my boyfriend and I forever to get everything done.
