Moving is SUCH a stressful time, so whenever someone helps make part of it feel a little less like a root canal...they are, well, a saint in my book. Nicole did JUST that. Not only was she kind and patient, but literally had my storage unit rented to me, and boxes loaded into my car in such an efficient and QUICK manner, that I feel like it was the first time I had smiled about ANYthing regarding my move! The facility is very clean and secure, and I feel totally comfortable taking my 11 year old there. i rented a small unit to store my belongings and my rent when up two months ago and now i have another notice the rent went up another 25.00 dollars due to the economy. don't rent from these company for they don't keep the rates the same when you sign a contract. i am not going to pay another rate hike and will seek another storage unit, and they are constantly putting the sign on the door out to lunch and do not return as stated. read more

TERRIBLE AND NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE WITH PUBLIC STORAGE: We rented 3 unites from Public storage during month of February 2014, please see below for detail. Date Rented Unite# Acc. # Facility # City Feb. 15 1193 18517704 29175 Brea, CA Feb. 16 A2029 18520497 25522 Orange, CA Feb. 19 2266 18520497 29175 Brea, CA For February 2014, payments made when we rented all three units. For March 2014, payments made on March 4 and 6, 2014. On March 10, 2014, I signed up for auto pay since I was traveling overseas for a few months. I arranged the auto pay to become effective from April 2014 and arrange the money to be transferred to my auto pay bank account each month prior to payment day. Public storage misused our auto pay authorization and withdrew money from our checking account on March 13, 2014, about three weeks earlier than they were authorized to do so. The money was not supposed to be in my account at that time but my bank (Bank of America) honored these payments and made all of three payments but charged us $105 for nonsufficient fund ($35 for each account). This is a clear business violation, unethical, unjust, and unacceptable business practice. We called as well as sent many emails to Public Storage customer service when we came back home. We spoke to Lorrain Evans as well, but unfortunately Lorrain Evans refused to accept Public Storage made a mistake and refused to reimburse $105. Our bank statement is available for verification. I had my "Insured" storage space here for 6 years and when I was Robbed the insurance company did not cover one cent. They tried to disregard me and the Robbery by using the excuse that the lock was picked. The only reason they even discussed the case with me was because my unit was not the only one broken in to that day. I am not only furious at both this particular public storage but also the insurance company. It breaks my heart to have lost so many irreplaceable family pictures and heirlooms but they could've at least covered the material and replaceable items. Never rent storage here! read more

Very clean indoor facility. It is climate-controlled and well-lit inside. The roll-up doors are easy to lift up and close. There are flatbed carts available to help transport your stuff, but you need to go during office hours to get the key to unlock them. Andrea was very helpful in explaining all of my options, showing me the different sizes of storage units, and choosing the perfect size based on the amount of furniture/boxes I needed to store. The prices at this location are competitive, and the $1 for the first month is a great deal! read more

I called the Public Storage (PS) off of Imperial first & made a reservation over the phone. Once I found out this PS off Lambert was climate-controlled, I called back, and they advised they would transfer my reservation to the Lambert location. With the chaos of moving I simply forgot the date that was scheduled and Andrea gave me a call to remind me to come in to check out the unit I was interested in. I went in later that afternoon, met with Andrea, and she gave me a tour of the facility. She was very thorough and informative. I was pretty stressed out already due to the move and Andrea helped put my anxieties at ease. She made the process very simple and low stress all around. The facility and lobby were very clean and I thought the pricing for the unit and packing merchandise was reasonable. Very happy with my experience here - just wished the front desk/lobby hours were longer - my husband advised that the dollies are only available to use during their hours. read more

Putting your stuff in storage is not fun. But this place makes it a bit more bearable. The facility is secure, clean, and the building is climate controlled so your stuff doesn't get damaged from extreme heat or cold. Andrea is friendly, helpful, and walked us through the difficult chore of moving our entire house . I also like her great attitude - you can tell she cares about doing her job well by the way she takes care of the building and the pride she takes in all she does. I knew our things were safe and in good hands so long as she was around. Highly recommend this place and the staff is GREAT. read more

Never experienced any problems foe the 1 1/2 years i rented a unit here. Recently moved up to Northern California and came back down this past week to move all my items in storage. Unfortunately, I forgot my key up north and had no way to open my unit. With the uhaul rental alread paid for I was stressing out. Luckily for me the district manager was there and really helped me out. He was able to open my lock right then and there at no charge and I was able to load everything into the uhaul that day.
