There are also a multitude of people who use some of the units as a residence, and obviously have more than enough time to get into peoples' lockers during the night, when the facility is closed, and steal from them. While I've been a long time customer, I'll be looking forward to moving my things elsewhere.

I rented a 10x20 unit at this Public Storage location for nearly a year…read more My rent started at $261/month, increased to $369, and then to $513. With insurance, I was paying $533/month. That is nearly double the original price in less than a year. At the same time, similar 10x20 units at this location were being advertised to new customers at substantially lower rates. When I complained, I was only offered a temporary three-month reduction to $425 including insurance. After one failed AutoPay charge, I was also charged a $102.60 late fee, bringing that month's total to $635.60. The physical condition of the unit was disappointing as well. The ceiling covering was visibly damaged, deteriorated, and missing in several areas. I have photos documenting the condition. Because of the repeated price increases, the condition of the unit, and the way my concerns were handled, I decided to move out. I left the unit completely empty, cleaned, and unlocked and documented everything with photos and video. I would not rent at this location again. New customers should be aware that the attractive move-in price may not reflect what they will be paying later.

The storage unit comes in different sizes, and you can change later to a smaller or larger unit. It's very clean inside. And very helpful staff, the entire process didn't take long, but a few minutes, which was nice. They also have carts you can use to move items from your car to the unit, but ask that you return them to the area where you picked them up. But when I went back a few days later to move items into the unit, one of the elevators was down, leaving only 1 working. And you can't use the stairs, saw a sign that the opening exit would sound the alarm, which was a bit of a hassle, as a few other customers were moving stuff at the same time. No cart was available, which made the process a bit longer. But overall, I'm happy with deciding to use them.

The day we moved in there, one elevator was working and it was packed because the day before, neither elevators were working. This is unacceptable. Then, about a month and a half into our service, I got an email move out notice, telling me they appreciate our business and have moved out our items. This was obviously a mistake and it was meant for somebody else but that sent me into a panic and though I called over there, it took a while for someone to contact me back. Lastly, August 1 was our move out day and not only is it the first of the month, but also a weekend and we flew from our home city to work on the move out, rented a U-Haul and hand truck, only to find out the elevators are out of service!! We are on the seventh floor, so it's not possible to remove any of our items. Obviously, another big problem and totally unacceptable. Currently, we are halfway into Sunday and elevators are still are not working and we can't get any answers as to if they're working on them. This not only forces us to spend more money, but disrupts our everyday as we have to go back to work tomorrow, Monday and have flight flights scheduled back to our home city. Our entire weekend, it was scheduled around our move out, has been completely disrupted and ruined. It is definitely the perfect storm and the worst situation.
