Im giving a 5 star review for the attentive staff, available bathrooms and water fountains, varied storage sizing, low pricing, and a $1 first month charge with no contract needed. The place is also cleaner than some restaurants. I went quite a few times and always saw someone scraping grit away, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, or wiping something down. The storage units even smell clean and not stale. My personal experience is detailed below: I want to start off by saying this is long overdo. I rented my unit in January 2019 after a bad breakup and a lot of runaround from other companies involving moving and storage. After all that mess and aneurysm inducing frustration, this place was a godsend! I was helped initially over the phone by a woman on the phone who was incredibly sweet and took her time with me explaining my options and reserving my unit. Then i ran over that same day and spoke with gentleman by the name of Roberto. He helped me around the first week of January and really made sure to take care of me. He helped me choose my unit, lock it, and did everything he could to help me by going above and beyond. After the rudeness, lack of empathy, and just terrible service I received from three separate companies, he was amazing and I can't stress it enough. The only good thing about my move, was him and this storage place. He stayed after his shift was over to help me and another customer. Neither of us felt rushed or like he didn't care. Roberto has us both smiling and truly calm. That's customer service; simply caring enough to understand people. Had I known about this place beforehand, I would've just used it since October 2018 and moved away from my ex sooner. Take my word for it. If your experience is only half as good as mine, you'd still run to use this specific spot! If I ever need storage again, I'm using it, and have already recommended it to three friends. A clean, new-looking facility. The woman in the rental office was rude, Even though there are large, empty parking lots in front and back of the building, this location does not allow PODS drop offs. This means moving into a space will cost you hundreds of extra dollars if you aren't already local. read more

Misleading promotion. Misrepresentation of the size of the space. Forced to buy a lock and insurance from them. Inaccessible account. App doesn't work. Codes provided for access did not work. Got locked in the building after cancelling the unit until another renter let me out. Overall a completely terrible experience. read more

now New BEWARE Please be careful at this location. I would like to share our experience. We had a total of three units ant this location. All of our belongings were cleaned out of one of our units. We just happen to go check on things and were told someone had signed us out of one of our units and we could not access it. We filed a police report and Public Storage told the officer that the contents were auctioned off due to none payment. Then Public Storage changed their story and are now saying they have no idea what happened. Because they originally told the police that everything was auctioned off the insurance denied our claim. Now the worse part is I have contacted the manager of the location, the District Manager for Public Storage and rhey are not giving us any assistance in this matter. As of now we cannot get anyone from management or upper management to contact us. We are of the opinion that this was an inside job. It's the only thing that makes sense. They have also said that there is no video despite their claims that the entire place is video monitored. I would like to hear form anyone else that has had an issue with Public Storage at this location or others read more

i rented a space 6 years ago. i started paying $ 125.00 / month. they gradually raised it to $ 541.00. that is almost 400%!!!! i went this morning to take my antiques out, they had changed the locks, without giving me the new keys, they told me i had no choice than to get a locksmith to break the lock. it cost me $ 120.00. i open the place only to find my antiques totally destroyed by termites. they keep the a/c at 80 degrees!! it was hotter inside today. happily i am out of there. greedy sobs. read more

Just packed up and moved out of our storage unit after 8 years. Facility was always clean. Dollie's for toting boxes were always available. Staff was always nice. Today we had a problem with the lock, and Edwin was so helpful trying to get the key to work and then finding us a locksmith. He made what could have been a stressful time quite easy, and we were able to accomplish what we needed to in one day rather than having to come back. The storage facility itself is fine and the price is excellent! But be advised that if you are not Spanish The manager Dolly will harass you and treat you with the utmost disrespect. She was perfectly wonderful to me until she found out I was bi racial. I spoke with others who have had the same issues of being treating like a criminal instead of a customer. The lady that assisted us was very helpful in finding us a good unit at a decent price. However, this location has an issue they are aware of, yet they make no effort to make customers aware of it. Their website shows access hours being from 6:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. They should be telling every customer that walks in that there is an issue with the website and that THESE are the correct hours. Instead they mention the access hours once and then say 'We told you when the access hours were.' Yes that may be true but the website is a source of information for when something is mentioned once and you forget about it. Also, if they had said when we moved in that there was a problem with the website we wouldn't have used that as a source of information. We spoke with the district manager who offered no refund even though our move-in was delayed 12 hours. We are college students and this took place during finals week. Thankfully we were able to move everything in but the added stress was not necessary. I also missed $45 worth of work because of the delay. This is bad customer service. read more

These guys gave me a completely new lock for free when I broke the key in mine trying to close the gate. It was my fault and I didn't mind to purchase it. I researched all different storage units online but the experience I had with Public Storage from the very beginning was much different from the rest. Customer service is great! Tracy and Candy really love their job and interacting with their customers! They were very helpful and made sure you were taken care of. They made the process painless and not a hassle what so ever. Pretty much outraged with the most recent bill I received. They just randomly decided to raise my monthly rent by 32 percent. Yes. You read that correctly. 32 percent!!!! What a total racket they have going on here. No respect for the customer and really seems like they don't care about keeping their customers either. I have a unit at this location and found this paper. When something like this happens customers should be notified and aware of it. I have noticed that there's no cameras inside the storage, only on certain parts. This is something that should be in plan since theft has been going on at this location. At the end of the day we are paying for our items to be stored not stolen. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The facility itself is creepily quiet, didn't seem all too safe or secure to me. My experience here was a total NIGHTMARE. The associates are literally put on the job, alone, with no supervisor on their first and second day since hiring. Thus explains their lack of knowledge, poor customer service skills and deceitful selling techniques. Was told one thing, then my credit card was charged way more than I agreed to. When I asked for a refund I was told it was not possible by the newly hired associate who then had to call her district manager. They went back and forth for - I KID YOU NOT - an hour and a half while I waited in the creepily quiet lobby waiting for a solution. Long story short, there was no solution. After being put on the associate's cell phone with the district manager who continuously passed the blame to myself, he claimed the refund went through and sent me on my way with no evidence or receipt. Didn't want to waste any more of my time or energy, so I went to another facility. Received my CC statement and of course the refund was not there. Called corporate who also was not surprisingly unhelpful. Was told to contact the district manager. Did so, and he played the blame game again. The bottom line is, this place is a total mess. Nobody has their shit together and honestly, when it comes down to putting your entire life's possessions and belongings into someone else's hands, this is NOT the spot. I've used different storage facilities in NYC, LI, NJ, and now Florida, and by far this Public Storage branch is the best! Candy and the other staff at this location are helpful and efficient. The storage units are well-maintained and clean, hallway lighting is very good, and there are always carts available even when there is a lot of activity. My only complaint is that the elevators are set to close to quickly, which doesn't make much sense when they are used so often for moving bulky, hard-to-maneuver items. read more

This facility is the worse in customer service. A few months ago they changed the hours to 930 am -6 during the week and 930 to 5 on the weekends and then they raised the prices over 60%. Terrible costumer service. Firstly, I was literally forced to buy a box from them, which make me feel incredibly stupid. Secondly, after been treated very rudely by their customer service over the phone; I decided to cancel my reservation and the way Traci treated me was just unbelievably uncomfortable. All I wanted to do is pay the final month's rent by phone. My father died unexpectedly and we cancelled his credit card -as you are supposed to do upon someone's death - and as a result the upcoming auto pay for the month's rent would be declined. I called to arrange to pay the final month's storage rent, but my only options were to pay a $10 extra fee for phone payment, a $20 extra fee for customer service payment, or drive 15 miles to another public storage location (I don't live in the area) to make payment in person. Phone person suggested online payment - well, guess what, my dad died so I couldn't get his login credentials. What a way to help a grieving family. Thanks for nothing Public Storage. read more

Worst experience ever got over $5,000 worth of stuff stolen and come to find out they don't have security cameras in the location. Not only was I stolen but several other units were also broken into. With the amount of money that this establishment makes you would think they can afford to have cameras in the unit. Not only that I am now dealing with their crappy insurance company and still paying $76 for a 5X5 unit. Unacceptable as soon as my investigation with the insurance company is complete I am moving all my belonging else where.
