Cubano on a gluten free crust
    Phil P.

Disappointed in the food with our visit today. Service was friendly and food came out fast. Wife had the Ohana and the middle 1/3 of her pie was soggy crust. Not appetizing at all! I had a gluten free pie. Used to be the gluten free was the same size as regular. Now the gluten free is at least 1/3 smaller. Disappointing, especially with the $2 up charge for the crust. Ordered the pork belly and pickles app as well. It was pretty good - let's be honest- hard to go wrong with pork fat deep fried in beef fat, but, for my taste, this was a little too long in the fryer AND hardly any pickles. Checked the photo on their menu and all came as that but I did look at the photo, just orders off the description. See my photo. 1/4 of one pickle on a skewer. Pork BBQ (or deep fried) with house made pickles is great. Unfortunately, that's not really the flavor profile provided by this appetizer. Pickles are cheap. The app is over $15 - give more pickles!

Nice atmosphere. Reminded me of broken bow or wheeler park in the city. Food was good.. Pasta was good, tasted fresh, the cheesy bread was cheesy for sure. Husband tried the taquero pizza and that surprisingly tasted like a taco on a pizza! I'd give it a second chance. Do not expect large portions.

Really great place off the beaten path in south Norman. Pulling up at night to the grand entrance was so exciting! The restaurant is BIG and feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, which lends to the appeal. Pizza was good - hand tossed crust and about the right size for a hungry person. We had garlic knots (not knots though), pork belly...the star of the show..a Caesar salad and 2 pizza. Plenty of food and all very shareable. The concept is counter service with delivery to the table and on a Saturday night it was super slow food service. We waited about 30 minutes for the pizza and knots. They have a gorgeous patio with xxl fire pits, live music, cornhole and pickleball courts.

4/3/13 I forgot the name of the one in the back but the other one was called Prosciutto.

My boyfriend and I were both craving pizza and was very impressed with this place. The ambiance was perfect with the brick walls, wood floors, and exposed air ducts. We ordered two pizzas and ate every bit of it. Thiner type crust that is cooked in pizza oven is the only way to cook pizza in my opinion. Wish this place was closer to me. Delish!

Absolutely love Pryor's Pizza Kitchen! Gluten free pizza is so difficult to find and a good one is even more difficult to find, but this hidden gem definitely delivered the goods. There is something for everyone in our super large family. We will definitely go back.

Our foursome had a lovely, if quite loud, lunch at Pryor's. It is in a lovely setting, and usually for lunch it is quite sedate. Apparently there was a group event that day, as the outside (and inside) were bustling. All the gaming courts outside were nearly full: pickle ball, corn hole, children's play area, ping pong tables. In addition, musicians were getting ready to play on the outside stage. It was happening...however, I prefer the usual lunch crowd, which isn't a crowd at all. My friend and I shared two pizzas, which were delicious: the Truffle Shuffle (mushroom) and the Farmer w/cheese. Next time I'll try the build-your-own to see how they do. I'll be back.

    Melted cheese dip

My husband and I brought our almost 3 year old and it was great! There are so many things to do and it has a cute little play ground area for little kids. We tried the Pryor's Pizza and the melted cheese dip appetizer. Both were good. We also had the banana foster dessert, which was yummy! Worth the drive!

Okie burger looked promising but the bottom was soggy and limp and overall didn't taste good.

This used to be my favorite pizza place. I don't know what's changed but the pizza just isn't good anymore. I ordered the okie burger which is my go to and it was so soggy, the meat was so bland and just over all didn't taste good. I ended up ripping the pizza off the crust and just eating the crust because that was the only good part. We ordered a pepperoni pizza for the kids and it was the greasiest pizza I've ever seen. The cheese wasn't good either, fell apart. The wings were good but I don't think I'll return here for pizza again. What a shame, what has happened to you guys??

Pretty building, nice staff, decent garlic knots and good salad. Undercooked chicken wings and frozen Totinos grade pizza... not for me.

Food is so so. Service is not the best. Place looks nice though. If you like pickleball it's a great place to play and eat pizza.

Pretty decent selection of drinks here, mostly common stuff. Came here for a going away, about 7 of us took up a couch area. It was pretty funny, one of the couches sloped so on one end, I was sitting normal, and on the same couch on the other end, my friend was sitting on the floor. Nothing against the establishment for that, just a funny note. A good place if you want to sit around and socialize.

With the biggest and best selection of whiskey in Norman, you are bound to find a drink you'll enjoy. Most nights it is a fairly relaxing place to enjoy a cigar and glass of your favorite beverage, but on a rare occasion it can be loud and crowded at times. Since it is a part of the restaurant Blackbird (the Gastropub right downstairs) the food is much better than your average bar. Another perk of being attached to the restaurant is that you can order food up to the cigar lounge and not ever have to put out your cigar or put down your drink. Speaking of cigars, for a place that doesn't have a large humidor, they have a pretty well rounded selection of cigars. There are some cigars on the cheaper side for those who don't want to pay an arm and a leg, as well as some cigars that will make anyone feel like a trust fund baby. Parking can be hard to come by but this is no different than any other place on campus corner. You may have to walk a bit, but there are plenty of free lots on the west end of campus corner. The cocktail waitresses are the only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars. Some of them are personable and have a impressive knowledge of what their bar serves (these waitresses are why I gave a 4 star rating rather than 3). On the other hand, some of the cocktail waitresses provide poor customer service and aren't familiar with the cigar and drink menu at all. It is a minor hiccup and shouldn't deter anyone from going in.

We ended up at Scratch after trying to go to a nearby restaurant and it didn't work out. I called to see if we could be seated at Scratch without a wait and the person answering the phone was SO kind. Turns out he was the host. We were seated immediately and Madison F. took our drink and app order. The green chile hummus was OUTSTANDING although I would have liked some carrots or celery with the pita instead of the olives. Cosmopolitan and Old Fashioned were well mixed. The entrees? Holy cow. I had the coffee crusted pork tenderloin with Parmesan risotto and lemon Brussels sprouts. The pork tenderloin was the BEST I've ever had, hands down. The risotto was creamy and delish. Not a fan of the Brussels sprouts as they were too oily. Husband had the Creole seafood pasta and he ate every bite. We will absolutely be back.
