    Shrimp and crab Benedict
    Anqi H.

I had the shrimp and crab Benedict for brunch. It was very tasty and came with a generous size salad. I was surprised that the eggs came scrambled, but that was actually in the description. The eggs were pretty good, but I think I would still prefer it over easy. The shrimps and crab chunks were tasty as well. Overall it was a solid breakfast option.

Provision currently offers one of the best burgers in Pittsburgh. It's a smash burger on the perfect bun. But what makes it amazing is their special fry sauce. Make sure to ask for extra sauce to dip your triple cooked fries which are also amazing.

Had a hankering for takeout tonight. Just really wasn't feeling like cooking. We knew that Federal Galley had just reopened and decided to try one of the restaurants we hadn't tried yet. Burgers and sandwiches sounded pretty good so we gave Provision a whirl. I got the Korean fried chicken sandwich with a side of fries and my wife got the old school burger with a half salad and half fry. I felt that the chicken was a little dry and it didn't pack quite as much flavor as I would have liked for Korean fried chicken (but I suppose nothing can really compare to the fried chicken I had at the street markets in S. Korea). I loved the fries! Super crispy and soft in the middle. I also really appreciated the fry sauce over ketchup. I'm from the west and fry sauce is the only way to go in my mind. My wife's burger was classic and delicious. She loved every bite. The salad was very basic, but that's totally fine for a side salad and she also really enjoyed the fries. We will be back to try some of the other eats!

Loved Provision when it was in Smallman Galley and was pumped to find it at the Federal Galley. Super easy to order directly from your table from the comfort of your phone or walk up to the counter if you prefer. They offer a wide variety of specials, brunch dishes, and sandwiches. I grabbed the burger and added the provision fries. Last time I had these, I was blown away by the lentils, goat cheese, and squash puree. This time, they were just ok. They didn't have a ton of flavor which was a bummer. The burger was pretty good with smoked mushrooms and green.

Mahi Mahi entree, so good! Those crispy potatoes, too, mmm

What a find! Came to the Federal Galley looking for a gluten-free food allergy-tolerant restaurant called Supper (which apparently has moved) and found this gem instead. So delicious! We ordered the Cauliflower, the Beets, and the Mahi Mahi all of which the two of us shared. Absolutely flavorful, satisfying, complex, and unique. We are traveling so I'll try to recreate something remotely similar when I get back to CA. The Mahi Mahi was our favorite, despite my initial confusion wondering how curry could go with more Mexican flavors like poblano chile and mole but it went together beautifully! The cauliflower was good, bit spicier than expected but the beets were a cooling chaser, lovely on a warm evening. Very happy to find this place. Woman cashier was super friendly and understanding of food allergies. Yum!

One of the best burgers in Pittsburgh! Yummy fries and the best copycat In and Out Burger sauce that I've had.

    This is the Croque Madame

This spot is the one you should make your staple at Federal Galley, the staff is wonderfully friendly and the food delivers in portion size, presentation, taste, and all of the above. I decided to have the Croqué Madame for brunch. A perfectly cooked egg sitting on top of an inch thick slice of game, freshly baked bread and a delicious house made spread had me eating every last bite of this morning pick me up. Remember that this spot is located in a food hall style restaurant incubated, so you can grab all of your favorite flavors and make your own magic happen. Cheers, and thanks from your local queer @mcgobro

I've only been to Federal Galley twice and both times I ended up ordering an appetizer and/or dessert from Provision PGH. They offer both vegetarian and gluten free options. The staff is friendly and efficient and their food runners always find me despite that I order before I find somewhere to sit in the communal dining seating area (outside in nice weather).

Everything ordered here was delicious. We wound up eating here instead of Shaka because Shaka was closed. The only problem was that it said to order online, but there were NO INSTRUCTIONS anywhere. If you wind up in this situation, you need to go to federalgally.org to order!!

This is one of the restaurants within Federal Galley. Even with dine-in service you can order online and have it delivered to your table which was a nice touch. The food was not great and was rather pricy. The pork on the Bahn Mi sandwich was very fatty and gummy. The buffalo cauliflower just didn't have much flavor. The fries were great though. I like that they have the option where you can get half fries, half salad. Willing to try it again but would probably try one of the other restaurants next time.

Old School Double Burger With Fries

I got the double burger with fries and would rate the meal 3.5 stars. The burger is really good quality and the fry sauce is good. I like the flavors that are there, but I wish there were more. The fries are good but heavy, overall they taste great with the sauce though. I just wish the burger had more of a pop of flavor.

LOVED our dinner at this place…read more We came here for dinner while visiting Pittsburgh. The first thing that struck me was the interior decor. Very industrial and moody with an open kitchen/preparation area that adds some intrigue. I do like to see the happenings of what's going on as someone with zero attention span. Service was excellent. George was fantastic. He kept a close eye on us without being overbearing. He anticipated what we might need so we didn't spend one second waiting to order anything. The menu is not endless or overwhelming which, presumably, allows them to focus on the items that are listed. I have decision panic so it was kinda nice to have less things to choose from. They asked if there were any allergies or dietary restrictions so I mentioned my vegetarianism. George went through the menu and pointed out the vegetarian options including what seems like it is vegetarian but isn't. They had TWO vegetarian entree options and fortunately the non-mushroom one was something I probably would have ordered anyway: pesto with walnuts, arugula, and a very generous amount of grated cheese. To start, I ordered the Brussels sprouts whichc I was warned had fish sauce. This was fine but nothing that blew me away. GF, on the other hand, loved this. GF ordered the wedge which was brought to our attention as vegetarian with the bacon on the side, which was her request. We ended up sharing both, a large part of that was because hers came out first and I couldn't wait but I'm so glad because the wege was FANTASTIC. The dressing? holy fuck pure ecastasy. The wedge was more like a filet shape which was much easier to eat. Who decided on the wedge shape anyway? The lettuce was so fresh and crisp and went wonderfully with that orgasmic dressing and breadcrumbs. Back to my pasta. Also delectable. Noodles were al dente. The sauce was creamy and packed that pesto umami flavor. The walnuts were a really nice contrast in texture. Everything about it absolutely fucking slapped. GF ordered the mushroom entree which came served on a bed of barley which, don't mind if I do, had a few forkfuls to "sample" for "my review". Again, so fucking good. Because it was my birthday, George provided a dessert (yuzu maybe?) that was served inside a meringue-esque igloo, creamy perfect balance of sweet and tart custard with some berry business underneath. Wonderful. I almost forgot their spectacular cocktails! Holy shit, literally they have a CORN CHIP cocktail that I could not pass up. It comes with two massive cornchips on top of a flavored foam. When you bring the glass up to sip, the cornchips are right in front of your nose and their aroma sets the stage for the drink which was STRONG. It wasn't as corn chip forward as I expected but I understand that flavor is probaly hard to create. For my second drink, I ordered the blue one which was refreshing, light, and really good. GF ordered a spritz which was gorgeous "it was good". For second round, I picked out some uranium thing that was very cucumbery, GF says, "it was good". I just read it outloud to her. "it's true!" Fantastic meal at a great place.

I have not made it there for brunch or dinner yet because their happy hour alone keeps me coming back. The happy hour is one of the best I have experienced. It features $9 bites, $9 glasses of wine, and $9 cocktails. It is offered Monday through Friday from 4-6 PM, and the menu is easy to find on their website. One thing I love is that shortly after you are seated, you are welcomed with iced water and a plate of three different breads with butter. Every server I have had has been attentive, friendly, and consistently checks in to make sure you have everything you need without being overbearing. Each time the food has been absolutely delicious. Every dish has the perfect balance of flavor and presentation. The atmosphere and vibes are another reason I continue to return. Parking is also very convenient as they offer valet service. There are also paid parking lots and street parking options nearby. Eleven is a restaurant I will continue to dine at!

My experiences have not been high-end, perhaps more "tinfoil" than sapphire, to say the least....see below. That being said, it's proven to be a very middling experience each time, especially from a service standpoint. Each time has had mysterious delayed times to get waited upon, receive food and drinks, and every time has featured a mysterious disappearing item that we had to politely "remind" the server about after receiving the bill. On this occasion, we were offered to still receive a missing drink even though it was incredibly clear that we were ready to leave. One time, sure, but all three visits have had issues. This time, when the final bill was corrected, the math didn't seem to make sense - removing a $14 drink and the total came out $5 less. I'm being candid in saying instead of even dealing with the server once more, their tip corrected the discrepancy - no issues in dealing with the situation in that manner, given the sub-par service. Unacceptable and frustrating to have 3/3 times experiencing significant service issues. Food-wise, it's a solid "4" rating - salads have all been great, the dishes we'd recommend are the black cod and the short ribs. Good selection of semi-local beer and extensive wine list. It was noted that the menu had "changed" with the season, but the overall menu was 80% the same with some very subtle modifications - all over a two-year period. First time we went here, we sat at the tables above the bar area, and unfortunately there was a very bar-like smell that could be experienced throughout the meal (imagine having fine dining at the Rock Room on Polish Hill) - thankfully these other two times have been in the main dining area, on nights that haven't been very busy (adding to the frustration regarding the service notes above). Honestly, this is a legacy restaurant here in Pittsburgh, it's a shame that newer places with great food + service have a hard time launching in this environment.

It serves wood-fired cuisine that uses locally raised meats, house-made pasta, and seasonal vegetables. Currently, during the winter, examples of menu items are small plates (e.g., roasted beet salad and heirloom carrots), mid courses (e.g., linguine and blue-bay mussels), large plates (e.g., sesame soy-glazed eggplant, pork chop, and picanha), desserts (e.g., pistachio cake and Kahlua fudge brownie), and alcoholic beverages (e.g., cocktails, mocktails, wines, and beers). For my husband and me, I made a reservation for dinner through the Resy website. I chose from options of the dining room, a four-season patio with awnings and heaters, and a chef's counter with a view of the kitchen. Please note that although the foods are upscale, the dress code seems to be smart casual. We parked our vehicle in a lot a short walk away. Upon our arrival to the restaurant, a seating hostess promptly greeted and seated us. Our server provided courteous and attentive service, such as taking our order and bringing our foods on time, refilling our waters, and cleaning my crumbs. We started with a Crab Cake with decent amount of crab meat, mushroom duxelles, tasty truffle aioli, and a side of arugula salad. My main course was Branzino with sides of beans-vegetables and parmesan cornbread. My husband's main course was Duck Breast with a blood-orange demi-glace, asparagus, and potatoes.
