10000000/10 - from the burgers to the fries to the chicken Sammie's. EVERYTHING IS PERFECTION. Run by some amazing humans and we're lucky to have them in Pittsburgh. If you're in the area stop in for one of pittsburghs best smash burgers with a side of crispy perfection of fries! Thanks for existing the same time as me!

I hate to admit that I liked this place for all the shit I talk on smash burgers, but I banged with this place so much. It's rare that I ever like one. I like a thick patty cooked bloody rare. Cant get that with a smashed. They're always overly salted with some average sauce, and never seasoned well. This place did not bring that. Patties not overly salted, house sauce had a little extra love in it, onions sautéed beautifully and who doesn't love a Martin's potato roll. You'll see they don't offer lettuce or tomatoes. That's because they know their burger only needs to be done one way and that'll bring you right back French fries were McDonald's on steroids. Insane crisp on each one and they were beyond generous with the portions. Those queso fries I'll be having wet dreams about It was me and 6 other people in there. Owner Rodney came out and talked to us. He was super down to earth and cared deeply about his spot It's inside a bar so if you plan on going at night it's going to be SLAMMED. If you want to go to simply dry the burger go closer to when they first open because you will be waiting

First time ordering fro this food truck and probably last, just based on customer service. Told 25-30 minutes. Came back in 45-50 minutes and still not ready. Told come back in 5. Still not ready for another 10-15. I understand things happen but the way it was handled was horrible. Burgers are pretty decent at least, but based on service and price, not worth it. Minimal respect for clients.

Their food truck was at Stick City Brewery today (also a great place!). My wife and I showed up at 5pm and they were so popular throughout the day they were almost out of all their food! They had enough meat for two burgers for my wife and I. The person working in the food truck made sure he could try and get us the burgers. Their burgers were AMAZING and so were their shoestring fries. We liked them so much my wife asked where they'd be next! If they're in your area make sure to try them!

Food was not terrible, very pricy for what you got. 40+ for two burgers and fires seat and serve yourself. The place and vibe was okay.

Our server was excellent and the auxiliary staff were courteous and efficient. We started with a calamari appetizer which was a little spicy but delicious. Beware of the two Thai chilies in the mix! Next my husband had the lobster bisque. It was quite rich with a large chunk of lobster as a garnish. Our main courses were a 10 ounce filet, wild caught shrimp stuffed with crabmeat and Chilean sea bass. Everyone loved their entrees. Our son especially loved the filet, it was so tender. We ordered two side dishes for the table and they were plenty for the three of us. Decadent lobster mashed potatoes and crabmeat fried rice. We shared a dessert, creme brûlée which was topped with fresh berries and served with chewy cocoa snowflake cookies. Overall the food was excellent. Service started out a little rocky. I had made a reservation online and it would only let me choose a high top. We don't like high tops so I called the restaurant a few days before and they assured me they could accommodate us with a regular table, not to worry. Upon entering and giving my name for the reservation, the Maitre D'être said it's for a high top. I explained that I'd called and we didn't want a high top. He said he could only offer us a booth in the lounge, so we took it. The lounge had a jazz trio playing and the music was a bit too loud for comfortable conversation. The server had to talk above the music to be heard by us. Luckily they took a break and when they came back the volume was lower. As we were leaving I noticed there was a whole dining room with empty tables which were NOT high tops. So why did they seat us in the lounge? Our drink orders were pretty simple, however because they serve the cocktails from the shaker, the server mixed up the dinks and poured my husband's margarita into my 'dirty' martini glass. So I had a three blue cheese olive margarita! A margarita-tini! He realized what he did, apologized and ran off to get another margarita for my husband. I had eaten the olives and tasted the margarita, which was very good. When he returned, he asked if I still wanted the martini and I laughed and said, yes, that what I ordered. So my husband got the benefit of two Margaritas for the price of one and I got three extra blue cheese olives! That was the only goof up. The rest of the meal was flawlessly served. I felt that even though the prices are high, the portion size and the quality of the food provide a good value. You expect to pay more in a place like this. It was well worth it in my opinion. And if you are there during Happy Hour you can choose cocktails and appetizers from the Happy Hour menu which is quite reasonable.

It's a two-part business, a fresh fish market on one side and a dining room and sushi bar on the other. The menu was initially overwhelming because food items were meticulously listed on several chalkboards arranged around the order space. There were lots of sushi options, but I wasn't in the mood and went for the $12 Fish Tacos, two of them with a combination of tuna, salmon, and swordfish encased in soft corn tortillas with tomato and cabbage (Photo 8). My experiences have not been high-end, perhaps more "tinfoil" than sapphire, to say the least....see below. That being said, it's proven to be a very middling experience each time, especially from a service standpoint. Each time has had mysterious delayed times to get waited upon, receive food and drinks, and every time has featured a mysterious disappearing item that we had to politely "remind" the server about after receiving the bill. On this occasion, we were offered to still receive a missing drink even though it was incredibly clear that we were ready to leave. One time, sure, but all three visits have had issues. This time, when the final bill was corrected, the math didn't seem to make sense - removing a $14 drink and the total came out $5 less. I'm being candid in saying instead of even dealing with the server once more, their tip corrected the discrepancy - no issues in dealing with the situation in that manner, given the sub-par service. Unacceptable and frustrating to have 3/3 times experiencing significant service issues. Food-wise, it's a solid "4" rating - salads have all been great, the dishes we'd recommend are the black cod and the short ribs. Good selection of semi-local beer and extensive wine list. It was noted that the menu had "changed" with the season, but the overall menu was 80% the same with some very subtle modifications - all over a two-year period. First time we went here, we sat at the tables above the bar area, and unfortunately there was a very bar-like smell that could be experienced throughout the meal (imagine having fine dining at the Rock Room on Polish Hill) - thankfully these other two times have been in the main dining area, on nights that haven't been very busy (adding to the frustration regarding the service notes above). Honestly, this is a legacy restaurant here in Pittsburgh, it's a shame that newer places with great food + service have a hard time launching in this environment.

The #2 "3 in one maxed noodles" under DRY NOODLE is "most popular," he said, and not very spicy - comprising of #s 1, 3, $ 4 on the dry noodle menu. They're flexible on your preferred spicy level. And #6 on the SOUP NOODLE menu is very popular & not spicy - braised pork rib noodles. Under SPICY NOODLE IN STONE POT - our server recommended #1 spicy beef soup with rice noodle in stone pot. For Appetizers - they were out of the cold skin noodles with peanut butter, but our server also recommended wonton (dumplings) in chili oil. OUR ORDER & ASSESSMENT: Appetizer - the wonton noodles are so good - so silky - and the semi-spicy sauce was really unique. Def would reorder that. Me: the 3 in one noodles - and this gigantic bowl was brimming with unique, flavorful ingredients that our server said I was to stir together. Baby bok choy, tomato chunks, slivered carrot, homemade wide noodles, small pieces of braised pork, scrambled egg, chili powder (not very spicy at all), and slivered scallions ---- a bowl of Chinese comfort food cooked to perfection. Total 5 star dish. Hubs: Spicy beef soup with rice noodle --- a *screaming hot* (temperature- not spice) stone pot filled to the brim with thin rice noodles (look like spaghetti), baby bok choy, and a zesty broth with a fairly good spicy kick. My hubs was just MEH on this dish. The broth - IMHO - just didn't have much depth of flavor. Sis-in-law: spicy max vegetable with rice noodles. Again - the wildly hot stone pot was brimming with homemade rice noodles, silky tofu, but there really weren't many veggies. Bok choy was about it. Odd, we thought. Again - the broth was just ok. All in all, it was a good, reasonably-priced lunch. I will DEF be back!
